The main source of blood supply is the median artery, the radial artery, dorsal metacarpal artery. On the other hand, the metacarpophalangeal joint, proximal interphalangeal joint and joint's capsules were shown by radiographic pictures. The median nerve is the main source of the nerve supply of foot, as well as ulnar and radial nerve. However, the digital tendons on the dorsal surface and palmer surface were represented by common, proper flexor digital tendons and deep superficial digital extensor tendons respectively, the histological picture of coronary region revealed that it consistd of horn tubules and intertubular horn. While the lamellae region showed that it consisted of primary epidermal lamellae, containing the epidermis and dermis regions, also, noticed that the epidermal lamellae was interfered with faced dermis lamellar. The histological structure of the hoof revealed that it consisted of keratinocytes which connected with each other by desmosal adhesion. Digital cushion contained of elastic and collagen fibers with presence of adipose cells masses greater than that at foot sole.展开更多

Methods: One hundred and tiffy-seven cases of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type were treated by tuina therapy, three times a week. Ten treatments made up one course and one to two courses of treatment was performed. During tuina treatment, other modalities that may affect tuina effects were discontinued. The patients were surveyed three months after tuina treatment. Results: Among the 157 cases, 109 cases obtained marked effectiveness, 26 cases improvement and 6 cases ineffectiveness; 16 cases were not surveyed. The total effective rate was 86.6%. Conclusion: Tuina therapy has excellent effects on cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type.展开更多

Methods: Sixty patients with CSA were randomly allocated into an observation group or a control group, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with warm needling moxibustion plus Kai Qing Long Suo tuina therapy, while the control group was treated with warm needling moxibustion alone. Warm needling moxibustion was conducted once every other day and tuina was con ducted once a day, 7-day treatme nts for one course. The clin ical efficacy and vertebral artery blood flow was observed after one course of treatment. Results: After treatment, the total effective rate was 93.3% in the observation group versus 80.0% in the control group, and there was a significant differenee between the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the systolic blood flow velocity of vertebral artery increased in both groups, with statistical significanee compared with that before treatment (both P<0.05), and the blood flow velocity in the observation group was faster than that in the control group, with statistical significanee between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Both warm needling moxibustion plus Kai Qing Long Suo tuina therapy and warm needling moxibustion alone are both effective for CSA, can improve the systolic blood flow velocity of vertebral artery. The curative effect of warm needling moxibusiton plus Kai Qing Long Suo tuina therapy is better than that of warm needling moxibustion alone.展开更多

Methods: A total of 71 PCIV cases were randomly allocated into an acupuncture group (37 cases) and a medication (oral Flunarizine Hydrochloride) group (34 cases). After 6 weeks of treatment, the therapeutic efficacies in the two groups were analyzed. Results: After treatment, the mean blood flow velocities (VM) of both the vertebral artery (VA) and the basilar artery (BA) in acupuncture group were significantly increased, showing statistical differences when compared with the pre-treatment result of the same group (P〈0.05); despite some decrease in pulsatility index (PI) after treatment, there was no statistical difference when compared with the pre-treatment result. After treatment, the mean blood flow velocities of both VA and BA in the medication group were increased, showing statistical differences when compared with the pre-treatment result of the same group (P〈0.05); there was no statistical difference in PI before and after the treatment (P〉0.05). Regarding the improvement of VM, the acupuncture group was superior to the medication group, showing a statistical difference (P〈0.05); there was no statistical difference in PI improvement between the two groups. Considering from the clinical efficacy, both acupuncture and medication are effective. However, acupuncture obtained a significantly better effect than medication (P〈0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture therapy can posterior circulation ischemia vertigo. obtain a better effect than oral Flunarizine Hydrochloride for展开更多
