Human-object interaction(HOIs)detection is a new branch of visual relationship detection,which plays an important role in the field of image understanding.Because of the complexity and diversity of image content,the d...Human-object interaction(HOIs)detection is a new branch of visual relationship detection,which plays an important role in the field of image understanding.Because of the complexity and diversity of image content,the detection of HOIs is still an onerous challenge.Unlike most of the current works for HOIs detection which only rely on the pairwise information of a human and an object,we propose a graph-based HOIs detection method that models context and global structure information.Firstly,to better utilize the relations between humans and objects,the detected humans and objects are regarded as nodes to construct a fully connected undirected graph,and the graph is pruned to obtain an HOI graph that only preserving the edges connecting human and object nodes.Then,in order to obtain more robust features of human and object nodes,two different attention-based feature extraction networks are proposed,which model global and local contexts respectively.Finally,the graph attention network is introduced to pass messages between different nodes in the HOI graph iteratively,and detect the potential HOIs.Experiments on V-COCO and HICO-DET datasets verify the effectiveness of the proposed method,and show that it is superior to many existing methods.展开更多

Network marketing is based on the network technology, including the whole process of marketing activities as a new form of marketing. In this paper, we analyze the issue from the listed perspectives. (1) Ultra space-and-time. The traditional marketing has very strong boundedness to the region, and this boundedness displays, the specifi c transaction can only be closed in the specific region, if the enterprise wants to expand the market share, only then establishes the retailing organization. (2) Interactivity. Network as a media, with the one-on-one interaction, this feature allows companies to basic communicate with consumers, and strengthen consumer participation, to determine the product form, function and the price. (3) The symmetry of information. Consumers can fi nd all kinds of that related products on the Internet information, there are plenty of time to judge the various products and prices. Companies will also be released in a timely manner on the Internet the company’s latest product information. Under this basis, we propose the new idea on the network marketing development direction that will help to build up the more efficient marketing system.展开更多
With the wide applications of sensor network technology in traffic information acquisition systems,a new measure will be quite necessary to evaluate spatially related properties of traffic information credibility.The ...With the wide applications of sensor network technology in traffic information acquisition systems,a new measure will be quite necessary to evaluate spatially related properties of traffic information credibility.The heterogeneity of spatial distribution of information credibility from sensor networks is analyzed and a new measure,information credibility function(ICF),is proposed to describe this heterogeneity.Three possible functional forms of sensor ICF and their corresponding expressions are presented.Then,two feasible operations of spatial superposition of sensor ICFs are discussed.Finally,a numerical example is introduced to show the calibration method of sensor ICF and obtain the spatially related properties of expressway in Beijing.The results show that the sensor ICF of expressway in Beijing possesses a negative exponent property.The traffic information is more abundant at or near the locations of sensor,while with the distance away from the sensor increasing,the traffic information credibility will be declined by an exponential trend.The new measure provides theoretical bases for the optimal locations of traffic sensor networks and the mechanism research of spatial distribution of traffic information credibility.展开更多

Yet eliciting transcendence, ...There seems to be a renewed interest in the last couple decades in studying and writing about consciousness. Consciousness may be the most difficult question humans are trying to resolve. Yet eliciting transcendence, a phenomenon that rises above, or goes beyond, normal limits of consciousness, has been an identified goal for many artists in the past, possibly even in cave art. Drawing on works shown in the 2006 Art Gallery of Hamilton exposition called Sublime Embrace: Experiencing Consciousness in Contemporary Art and in the 2002 Houston Contemporary Art Museum 2002 show called THE INWARD EYE: Transcendence in Contemporary Art, the author will explore the biological, psychological, cultural, and spiritual facets of transcendence. Perhaps, with the renewed symbiotic relationship between the sciences and art, the convergence of digital media, and the emergence of global communication networks, we are at the verge of art that will create a change, an alteration in our consciousness, and an altercendent state. This paper investigates and reports on the extent and nature of corporate internet disclosure and the determinants of internet financial disclosure (IFD) by companies listed in three Gulf Corporation Council (GCC)...This paper investigates and reports on the extent and nature of corporate internet disclosure and the determinants of internet financial disclosure (IFD) by companies listed in three Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) countries. This paper uses data from 207 listed companies in Muscat Securities Market (MSM), Dubai Financial Market (DFM), and Qatar Exchange (QE). Binary logistic regression analysis is used to examine the determinants of IFD. Kruskal-Wallis test is used to examine the differences in disclosure characteristics among the three countries. The results of this study reveal that firm size is the major factor influencing intemet financial reporting in the GCC. The results reveal that the three countries differ significantly in all the disclosure attributes with the exception of the existence of email link. This paper extends the stream of research that confirms the widespread use of internet in disclosing financial information. The results are consistent with previous literature that corporate size is a major determinant of internet financial reporting. This paper provides insights into corporate internet disclosure in the GCC that will benefit all stakeholders with an interest in corporate reporting in this important region of the world.展开更多
