针对多输入单输出(multiple input single output,MISO)通信系统的空时分组编码-正交频分复用(space-time block codes-orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing,STBC-OFDM)信号盲识别问题,提出了一种基于四阶统计量的盲识别算法。... 针对多输入单输出(multiple input single output,MISO)通信系统的空时分组编码-正交频分复用(space-time block codes-orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing,STBC-OFDM)信号盲识别问题,提出了一种基于四阶统计量的盲识别算法。该方法首先对MISO通信系统的STBC-OFDM信号进行建模;然后利用STBC-OFDM信号编码矩阵的相关性,构造了不同时延向量下接收信号OFDM块的时延四阶矩作为特征函数;最后通过时延四阶矩理论值与实验值的最小欧式距离盲识别发射端STBC-OFDM信号的编码方式。该方法不需要信道系数、噪声信息和调制信息等先验信息,适合非合作通信场合。仿真结果表明,所提出的算法即使在低信噪比(SNR=0dB)下识别效果接近100%,且对载波频偏、时间同步偏差和多普勒频移不敏感,实用性较强。 展开更多

Waveforms generated by the 50t explosion of project Brightlight ( I ) were recorded by HILR array. Using array techniques, the author performed identification, f-k analysis, velocity spectrum analysis, etc. of the weak signals. The analysis results show that the signal-to-noise ratio after beamforming was obviously enhanced, and the signal could be clearly shown. The energy from this explosion was mainly concentrated in the 1 -8Hz range from f-k analysis. The velocity spectrum gave clear positions of event phases, which could not be seen in the original weak signals. The maximum energy distribution obtained by the Beaman method is close to the theoretical value in the azimuth-slowness domain. 展开更多

In order to classify the alertness status, 19 channels of electroencephalogram(EEG) signals from 5 subjects were acquired during daytime nap. Ten different types of features(including time domain features, frequency domain features and nonlinear features) were extracted from EEG signals, and an improved self-organizing map(ISOM) neuron network was proposed, which successfully identify three different brain status of the subjects: awareness, drowsiness and sleep. Compared with traditional SOM, the experiment results show that the ISOM generates much better classification accuracy, reaching as high as 89.59%. 展开更多

Mammalian testis development is a complex and highly sophisticated process. To study the dynamic change of normal testis development at the transcriptional level, we investigated mouse testes at three postnatal ages: 6 days postnatal, 4 weeks old, and 10 weeks old, representing infant (PN1), juvenile (PN2), and adult (PN3) stages, respectively. Using ultra high-throughput RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) technology, we obtained 211 million reads with a length of 35 bp. We identified 18837 genes that were expressed in mouse testes, and found that genes expressed at the highest level were involved in spermatogenesis. The gene expression pattern in PN1 was distinct from that in PN2 and PN3, which indicates that spermatogenesis has commenced in PN2. We analyzed a large number of genes related to spermatogenesis and somatic development of the testis, which play important roles at different developmental stages. We also found that the MAPK, Hedgehog, and Wnt signaling pathways were significantly involved at different developmental stages. These findings further our understanding of the molecular mechanisms that regulate testis development. Our study also demonstrates significant advantages of RNA-seq technology for studying transcriptome during development. 展开更多

Innate immunity offers the first line of defense against infections and other types of danger such as tumorigenesis. Its discovery provides tremendous therapeutic opportunities for numerous human diseases. Delving into the structural basis of signal transduction by innate immune receptors, our lab has recently helped to establish the new paradigm in which innate immune receptors transduce ligand-binding signals through formation of higher-order assemblies containing intracellular adapters, signaling enzymes and their substrates. These large signalosome assemblies may be visible under light microscopy as punctate structures in the μm scale, connecting to the underlying molecular structures in the nm scale. They drive proximity-induced enzyme activation, and provide a mechanism for signaling amplification by nucleated polymerization. These supramolecular signaling complexes also open new questions on their cellular organization and mode of regulation, pose challenges to our methodology, and afford valuable implications in drug discovery against these medically important pathways. 展开更多

As complex traits evolve, each component of the trait may be under different selection pressures and could respond independently to distinct evolutionary forces. We used comparative methods to examine patterns of evolution in multiple components of a complex courtship signal in darters, specifically addressing the question of how nuptial coloration evolves across different areas of the body. Using spectral reflectance, we defined 4 broad color classes present on the body and fins of 17 species of freshwater fishes (genus Etheostoma) and quantified differences in hue within each color class. Ancestral state reconstruction suggests that most color traits were expressed in the most recent common ancestor of sampled species and that differences among species are mostly due to losses in coloration. The evolutionary lability of coloration varied across body regions; we found sig- nificant phylogenetic signal for orange color on the body but not for most colors on fins. Finally, patterns of color evolution and hue Of the colors were correlated among the two dorsal fins and between the anterior dorsal and anal fins, but not between any of the fins and the body. The observed patterns support the hypothesis that different components of complex signals may be subject to distinct evolutionary pressures, and suggests that the combination of behavioral displays and morphology in communication may have a strong influence on patterns of signal evolution . 展开更多

In nature, bacteria must sense copper and tightly regulate gene expression to evade copper toxicity. Here,we identify a new copper-responsive two-component system named DsbRS in the important human pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa;in this system, DsbS is a sensor histidine kinase, and DsbR, its cognate response regulator, directly induces the transcription of genes involved in protein disulfide bond formation(Dsb)(i.e., the dsbDEG operon and dsbB). In the absence of copper, DsbS acts as a phosphatase toward DsbR, thus blocking the transcription of Dsb genes. In the presence of copper, the metal ion directly binds to the sensor domain of DsbS, and the Cys82 residue plays a critical role in this process. The copperbinding behavior appears to inhibit the phosphatase activity of DsbS, leading to the activation of DsbR.The copper resistance of the dsbRS knock-out mutant is restored by the ectopic expression of the dsbDEG operon, which is a DsbRS major target. Strikingly, cognates of the dsbRS-dsbDEG pair are widely distributed across eubacteria. In addition, a DsbR-binding site, which contains the consensus sequence 5’-TTA-N8-TTAA-3’, is detected in the promoter region of dsbDEG homologs in these species. These findings suggest that the regulation of Dsb genes by DsbRS represents a novel mechanism by which bacterial cells cope with copper stress. 展开更多

Signal structure design is an important part of satellite navigation system research,which directly affects navigation performance.Signal performance parameters are analyzed and performances of BPSK modulated signals and BOC modulated signals are compared.Aiming at requirements of high navigation precision and high anti-jamming ability,a new navigation signal structure based on complex carrier modulation is proposed and performances of the signal are researched with different parameters.A synchronization algorithm is put forward according to the signal characteristics,and the synchronization performance is qualitatively analyzed.Next,the applications of the complex carrier modulated signal are discussed,which include anti-jamming,navigation enhancement,power combing and so on.Simulations and analysis show that the proposed navigation signal structure based on complex carrier modulation has good navigation capabilities and anti-jamming abilities,which deserves further study. 展开更多

From the perspective of Cognitive Grammar, this study investigates the semantic characteristics of, as well as the respective constraints on, the three (schematic) components of the Chinese ba-construction that are essential in its constructional meaning, namely the pre-posed object, the main verb, and the resultative component, and concludes that the Chinese bd--construction describes a transition between two states of affairs, either intended or actualized, with the post- transitional state being the focus of attention, and that the semantic characteristics of its component structures, the main verb, the pre-posed object, and the resultative component in particular, synergistically contribute to the accentuation of this constructional meaning: the lexical aspect of the main verb signals the potential for transition; the high degree of specificity of the pre-posed object conserves cognitive resources as well as measures out the process denoted by the main verb; and the rich forms and the almost obligatory presence of the resultative component specify the post-transitional state and command the bearer's attention. 展开更多
