This paper presents a novel SHT (Session Heterogeneity Topology) model, in which DHT is reconstructed with session hetero- geneity. SHT clusters nodes by means of session heterogeneity among nodes and selects the stable nodes as the participants of DHT. With an evolving process, this model gradually makes DHT stable and reliable. Therefore the high maintaining overheads for DHT are effectively controlled. Simulation with real traces of session distribution showed that the maintaining overheads are reduced dramatically and that the data availability is greatly improved.展开更多

Firstly, single fiber action potential (SFAP), motor unit action potential (MUAP) and motor unit action potential train(MUAPT) are simulated based on the tripolar signal source model, and then the sEMG is obtained; secondly, the simulated sEMG signal is extracted from the mixed signals that consists of white noises, power frequency interference signal and electrocardio signal by independent component analysis (ICA) algorithms; lastly, the spikes corresponding to each motor unit action potential from the simulated sEMG signals were detected by applying the wavelet transform (WT) method. Simulation results showed that sEMG model could describe the physiological process of sEMG, ICA and WT methods could extract the sEMG signal and its features, which will lay a foundation for further classifying the MUAP.展开更多

Experiments on single crystal growth were carried out using hardware and software system which allows to perform spectral Fourier analysis of AE signals and to simultaneously remove the cooling curve for the entire period of crystallization. On the basis of spectral analysis of AE signals, a theoretical model of clusters in the aluminum melt was designed. The experimental results indicate an uneven abrupt advancement of the interface according to the configuration of each individual cluster.展开更多
To analyze the detection probability of shipbome AIS (automatic identification system) signal from space, a mathematical model dependent upon three factors of message collision avoidance, power of signal received by...To analyze the detection probability of shipbome AIS (automatic identification system) signal from space, a mathematical model dependent upon three factors of message collision avoidance, power of signal received by satellite and interference ratio of signal received is presented in the paper. The altitude and footprint area of the AIS satellite are discussed to overcome the collision of messages transmitted in the different time slots fxom different SOTDMA (self organizing time division multiple access) cell areas, but arrive at the same time slot due to the different signal path lengths. The simulated result shows that compared to the normal LEO (low ear~ orbit) satellite system, on average the maximum signal coverage area and the maximum FOV (field of view) of the AIS satellite system are reduced by 74% and 38%. The majority of power of signal transmitted fi'om shipborne 12W-power AIS transmitters located within the maximum signal coverage area may be received with the sufficient margin of power of signal by the LEO satellite, but the space-based AIS system generally suffers from the insufficient CIR (carrier to co-channel interference ratio) of signal received since around 95% pairs of message simultaneously received by satellites may not be correctly decoded. The insufficient CIR of signal received is the bottleneck for the high message detection probability. Therefore, the measure of separating the collision messages should be further taken by the space-based AIS system to increase the detection probability.展开更多

For high temperature metallurgical reactors, it is impractical and unsafe to carry out visual observat...To ensure efficient operation of metallurgical gas-liquid reactors, the gas bubbles must be uniformly distributed. For high temperature metallurgical reactors, it is impractical and unsafe to carry out visual observations. An air-water model was used to study the relationship between the bubble flow patterns and the pressure fluctuation signals. The fluctuation signals captured in the time domain were transformed into the frequency domain. Various parameters obtained from the transformed data were analysed for their suitability for delineating the bubble flow patterns observed. These parameters and the flow patterns were found to be well-correlated using the gas flow number.展开更多
