Germany announced the Industry ...With ever-increasing market competition and advances in technology, more and more countries are prioritizing advanced manufacturing technology as their top priority for economic growth. Germany announced the Industry 4.0 strategy in 2013. The US government launched the Advanced Manufacturing Partnership （AMP） in 2011 and the National Network for Manufacturing Innovation （NNMI） in 2014. Most recently, the Manufacturing USA initiative was officially rolled out to further ＂leverage existing resources... to nurture manufacturing innovation and accelerate commercialization＂ by fostering close collaboration between industry, academia, and government partners. In 2015, the Chinese government officially published a 10- year plan and roadmap toward manufacturing： Made in China 2025. In all these national initiatives, the core technology development and implementation is in the area of advanced manufacturing systems. A new manufacturing paradigm is emerging, which can be characterized by two unique features： integrated manufacturing and intelligent manufacturing. This trend is in line with the progress of industrial revolutions, in which higher efficiency in production systems is being continuously pursued. To this end, 10 major technologies can be identified for the new manufacturing paradigm. This paper describes the rationales and needs for integrated and intelligent manufacturing （i2M） systems. Related technologies from different fields are also described. In particular, key technological enablers, such as the Intemet of Things and Services （IoTS）, cyber-physical systems （CPSs）, and cloud computing are discussed. Challenges are addressed with applica- tions that are based on commercially available platforms such as General Electric （GE）＇s Predix and PTC＇s ThingWorx.展开更多

Precision marketing is on the basis of fully understanding of consumer information, according to its characteristics and primary preferences targeted to carry out the one-to-one marketing. Mobile Internet users are mostly fixed which can be the new network technology in-depth insight into consumer interest and demand, and to establish for each specific customer database. Based on the analysis of customer data, then according to the characteristics of the different customers and the preference information such as the precision marketing, at the same time which can also according to customer＇ s feedback information targeted adjustment of products and the marketing, in order to better meet the needs of customers. Our research combines the O2O concepts and the technique to propose the novel marketing paradigm which is of great importance.展开更多

This paper set up software of a wireless network （ZigBee protocol）, sensor signal acquisition, wireless transmitting and receiving, and communicate with PC machine by serial communication coordinator node. Experiments show that the network node data transmission accurate, reliable work, basically reached the requirements of the design issues.展开更多
The use of social media in political communication has demonstrated its significance by the example of Arab Spring and the 2008 US presidential election, but its role in non-western democratic countries like Taiwan ha...The use of social media in political communication has demonstrated its significance by the example of Arab Spring and the 2008 US presidential election, but its role in non-western democratic countries like Taiwan has rarely been examined. Micro-blogs share some characteristics with other types of social media but operate in a lighter way that has made it more and more popular among Internet users. Most researchers focus on the better-known Twitter, however, Plurk has found a niche and becomes the leading type of micro-blog in Taiwan and many politicians enjoy using it for political communication. This study seeks to answer the question ＂What patterns do Taiwan Residents politicians exhibit when utilizing Plurk？＂. By combining Habermasian communicative action theory and Foot and Schneider＇s Web Sphere, this research attempts to form a theoretical framework for micro-blogs. In-depth interviews were conducted with Taiwan Residents politicians at various levels and it was discovered that the broad pattern of political communication via Plurk may be characterised in Habermasian terms as strategic, through information broadcasting, public opinion formation, and political mobilization. In addition, this research shows that Taiwan Residents politicians use Plurk to gather information and ideas in exchanges which have dialogic elements.展开更多
