Methods A sinusoidal FM fuze was analyzed in time domain and frequency domain and the concept of channel leak was presented. Results It was proved that information channel leak exists in FM fuze because of the nonlinear property of the mixer. The jamming signal was designed based on the channel leak and the jamming mechanism was analyzed in detail. Conclusion This kind of jamming signal can jam the sinusoidal FM fuzes effectively just depending on the jamming signal's feature itself. It's different from the traditional jamming way of simulating echo. Though the sinusoidal FM fuze was just analyzed, the principle is applicable to all FM fuzes. At the same time, it may be used as the reference for FM radar and communication countermeasures.展开更多

An iterative joint channel estimation and symbol detection algorithm isderived. In the algorithm, the channel estimator performs alternately in two modes. During thetraining mode, the channel state information (CSI) is obtained by a discrete-Fourier-transform-basedchannel estimator and the noise variance and covariance matrix of the channel response is estimatedby the proposed method. In the data transmission mode, the CSI and transmitted data is obtainediteratively. In order to suppress the error propagation caused by a random error in identifyingsymbols, a simple error propagation detection criterion is proposed and an adaptive training schemeis applied to suppress the error propagation. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results showthat this algorithm gives better bit-error-rate performance and saves the overhead of OFDM systems.展开更多

To combat the channel distortion, a novel multi-channel receiver with maximum ratio combining and a low complex T/4 fractional iterative frequency domain equalization(FDE) is investigated to improve diversity gain and the bit error rate(BER) performance. The proposed method has been verified by the real data from a lake underwater acoustic communication test in November 2011. At 1.8 km, the useful data rates are around 1500 and 3000 bits/s for BPSK and QPSK respectively. The results show the improvements of system performance. Compared with MMSE FDE system, the output SNR improvement is 6.9 d B, and the BER is from 10-3 to no error bits for BPSK. The output SNR improvement is 5.3 d B, and the BER is from 1.91×10-2 to 2.2×10-4for QPSK.展开更多
