A modified time domain interpolation method is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)systems to address the problem that time domain interpolation in the least square(LS)channel estimation metho...A modified time domain interpolation method is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)systems to address the problem that time domain interpolation in the least square(LS)channel estimation method based on comb-type pilots cannot choose the pilot spacing flexibly.Firstly,the estimated channel frequency response(CFR)at pilot positions in the frequency domain is obtained by LS channel estimation based on comb-type pilots,and the estimated channel impulse response(CIR)in the time domain is obtained by linear interpolation and inverse fast Fourier transform(IFFT).Secondly,the error of the estimated CIR obtained by linear interpolation is analyzed by theoretical deduction,and a method for correcting it is proposed.Finally,an estimated CFR at all subcarrier positions in the frequency domain is obtained by performing zero padding in the time domain and fast Fourier transform(FFT)on the modified CIR.The simulation results suggest that the proposed method gives similar performance to time domain interpolation,yet it does not need to meet the condition of time domain interpolation that the number of subcarriers must be an integral multiple of pilot spacing to use it.The proposed method allows for flexible pilot spacing,reducing the number of pilots and the consumption of subcarriers used for channel estimation.展开更多

Clustering debris-flow events, namely many debris flows simultaneously triggered by a regional rainstorm in a large-scale mountainous area,occurred in four regions of Wenchuan earthquake stricken areas in 2008 and 201...Clustering debris-flow events, namely many debris flows simultaneously triggered by a regional rainstorm in a large-scale mountainous area,occurred in four regions of Wenchuan earthquake stricken areas in 2008 and 2010. The characteristics of the clustering debris flows are examined with regard to triggering rainfall, formation process, and relationship with the earthquake by field survey and remote sensing interpretation. It is found that the clustering events occurred nearly at the same time with the local peak rainstorms, and the rainfall intensity-duration bottom limit line for clustering debris flows is higher than the worldwide line. It means that more rainfall is needed for the occurrence of the clustering debris flows. Four kinds of major formation processes for these debris flows are summarized: tributary-dominated, mainstreamdominated, transformation from slope failures, and mobilization or liquefaction of landslide. The four regions has a spatial correlation with the strongquake-influenced zone with the peak ground acceleration = 0.2 g and the seismic intensity > X.展开更多
The important effects of local land-sea thermodynamic contrast between the South China Sea (SCS) and Indochina Peninsula on SCS summer monsoon onset are preliminarily studied by using two sets of SSTA tests and two id...The important effects of local land-sea thermodynamic contrast between the South China Sea (SCS) and Indochina Peninsula on SCS summer monsoon onset are preliminarily studied by using two sets of SSTA tests and two ideal tests in s-p regional climate model. The result shows that warm SST in the SCS in winter and spring is favorable for the formation of monsoon circulation throughout all levels of the atmosphere over the sea, which hastens the onset of SCS summer monsoon. The effects of cold SST are generally the opposite. The local land-sea contrast in the SCS is one of the possible reasons for SCS summer monsoon onset. Superposed upon large-scale land-sea thermodynamic differences, it facilitates the formation of out-breaking onset characteristics of SCS summer monsoon in the SCS area.展开更多

To overcome the grave distortion problem in the restored secret image,this paper proposes a new embedding scheme consisting of reasonable partition of a pixel value and sign embedding. Moreover, based on human visual system (HVS) and fuzzy theory,this paper also presents a fuzzy classification method for DOT sub-blocks to realize the adaptive selection of embedding strength. The experimental results show that the maximum distortion error in pixel value for the extracted secret image is ±1. And the color cover image can provide good quality after embedding large amount of data.展开更多

It i proved that the modified Boussinesq equation is CTE solvable. The soliton-cnoidal periodic wave is explicitly given by a nonanto-BT theorem. Furthermore, the nonlocal symmetry for the modified Boussinesq equation is obtained by th Painlev′e analysis. The nonlocal symmetry is localized to the Lie point symmetry by introducing one auxiliary dependen variable. The finite symmetry transformation related with the nonlocal symemtry is obtained by solving the initia value problem of the prolonged systems. Thanks to the localization process, many interaction solutions among soliton and other complicated waves are computed through similarity reductions. Some special concrete soliton-cnoidal wav interaction behaviors are studied both in analytical and graphical ways.展开更多
