The trustworthi...A personalized trustworthy service selection method is proposed to fully express the features of trust, emphasize the importance of user preference and improve the trustworthiness of service selection. The trustworthiness of web service is defined as customized multi-dimensional trust metrics and the user preference is embodied in the weight of each trust metric. A service selection method combining AHP (analytic hierarchy process) and PROMETHEE (preference ranking organization method for enrichment evaluations) is proposed. AHP is used to determine the weights of trust metrics according to users' preferences. Hierarchy and pairwise comparison matrices are constructed. The weights of trust metrics are derived from the highest eigenvalue and eigenvector of the matrix. to obtain the final rank of candidate services. The preference functions are defined according to the inherent characteristics of the trust metrics and net outranking flows are calculated. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively express users' personalized preferences for trust metrics, and the trustworthiness of service ranking and selection is efficiently improved.展开更多

The hormonal (BAP; Zn; NAA) composition of the feeding area and their concentrations have been selected; proliferation of buds in the basal part of the sprout has been achieved from the formed morphogenic tissue. The aim of the model,...To accurately describe the evolving features of Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) and to improve the performance of such networks, an evolving topology model with local-area preference is proposed. The aim of the model, which is analyzed by the mean field theory, is to optimize network structures based on users' behaviors in MANETs. The analysis results indicate that the network generated by this evolving model is a kind of scale-free network. This evolving model can improve the fault-tolerance performance of networks by balancing the connectivity and two factors, i.e., the remaining energy and the distance to nodes. The simulation results show that the evolving topology model has superior performance in reducing the traffic load and the energy consumption, prolonging network lifetime and improving the scalability of networks. It is an available approach for establishing and analyzing actual MANETs.展开更多
Natural environments contribute to people’s perception,preference and health restoration.Many researchers have focused either on the positive effects of overall rural environments on stress recovery or concentrated o...Natural environments contribute to people’s perception,preference and health restoration.Many researchers have focused either on the positive effects of overall rural environments on stress recovery or concentrated on the perception and preference aspects of the rural landscape,but few have integrated perception,preference and stress recovery simultaneously.This paper developed a framework which includes 11 elements and 38 element components related to Linpan,China,and distributed it online as part of a survey.As a result,a total of 324 valid questionnaires were collected.The questionnaire included demographic details,perception and preference degree for Linpan,as well as self-estimations of stress recovery.Stepwise multiple linear regression was employed,and revealed 16 significant predictors for the perception,preference and stress recovery in rural environments.In terms of elements,atmosphere and imagery were the two elements that could be best perceived,while woodland,farmland,water,residence and road were the five most important elements for the preference.Moreover,seven elements were also identified as significant predictors for stress recovery.Among the element components,tranquility as well as road and water proximity were the two significant predictors for perception,while wide visibility as well as woodland and residence blending contributed significantly to stress recovery.The five element components of woodland interior,vegetable field,stream,courtyard space and branch road each had a significantly predictive ability for preference and stress recovery.These findings extend the understanding of the perception,preference and restorative properties of rural environments through the combination of elements and element components in Linpan of Western Sichuan,helping to improve the quality and characteristics of rural external and internal environments and create health-promoting environments.展开更多
