长寿风口是国内外着力研究开发的一项重大科研课题。本文列举了我国重点企业风口寿命指标,总结了包钢高炉用高压水螺旋铜管风口冶炼含氟特种铁矿,攻克世界罕见的风口破损难关所取得的成就和存在的问题。在国内首次成功地采用数控真空电... 长寿风口是国内外着力研究开发的一项重大科研课题。本文列举了我国重点企业风口寿命指标,总结了包钢高炉用高压水螺旋铜管风口冶炼含氟特种铁矿,攻克世界罕见的风口破损难关所取得的成就和存在的问题。在国内首次成功地采用数控真空电子束焊接贯流风口,该风口经包钢、太钢高炉推广使用,经济效益显著。根据大中型高炉富氧喷煤强化冶炼的要求,作出了贯流式偏流型风口,和新型材料长寿命风口两种设计新产品。前者适用于我国大中型高炉现行贯流风口的技术改进,后者则与日本国家专利Hiveo型千口长寿风口相符,已作为一项技术密集型的高科技产品,列入国家级《火炬计划》和机电部、冶金部的部控科技攻关项目。 展开更多

Detailed investigation of flow behavior in structured packing distillation columns is of great importance in accurate prediction of process efficiency and development of more efficient and optimal equipment internals. In this study, a three-dimensional two-phase flow model based on VOF method for simulating the hydrodynamics and mass-transfer behavior in a typical representative unit of the structured packing is developed. In the proposed model, the c 2 - ε c model is used for the closure of turbulent mass transfer equation. By solving the proposed model, the velocity distribution, phase fraction profile and concentration field are obtained. Using these data, the total liquid holdup, the wetted area and the separation efficiency [height equivalent to a theoretical plate (HETP)] are estimated. For testing the model validation, the simulated HETPs are compared with our previous experimental data obtained in a 150 mm-diameter column containing Mellapak 350Y operating at the pressures of 0.6-1.8 MPa. The compari-son shows that they are in satisfactory agreement, with an average absolute deviation (AAD) of 25.4%. 展开更多

A real-time pedestrian detection and tracking system using a single video camera was developed to monitor pedestrians. This system contained six modules: video flow capture, pre-processing, movement detection, shadow removal, tracking, and object classification. The Gaussian mixture model was utilized to extract the moving object from an image sequence segmented by the mean-shift technique in the pre-processing module. Shadow removal was used to alleviate the negative impact of the shadow to the detected objects. A model-free method was adopted to identify pedestrians. The maximum and minimum integration methods were developed to integrate multiple cues into the mean-shift algorithm and the initial tracking iteration with the competent integrated probability distribution map for object tracking. A simple but effective algorithm was proposed to handle full occlusion cases. The system was tested using real traffic videos from different sites. The results of the test confirm that the system is reliable and has an overall accuracy of over 85%. 展开更多

A fully integrated 3GHz low-power and low-phase-noise voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with a self-biasing current source was implemented in a standard 0.18μm CMOS process. A trade-off between noise and power was realized through the optimization of the improved current source. The VCO can be tuned from 2.83 to 3.25GHz with a 13.8% tuning range. The measured phase noise at 1MHz offset is -111dBc/Hz at a frequency of 3.22GHz while the core circuit draws less than 2mA from a 1.8V supply voltage. These results make the circuit suitable for a 5GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) receiver and 3.4 to 3.6GHz world interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) application. 展开更多

A novel magnetic-controlled switcher type fault current limiter (FCL) for high voltage electric network is presented. The current limiting principle of the FCL and the bias current influence on the characteristic of the FCL axe discussed. The experiments on the 220 V/50 A test model show that the FCL can limit the fault current swiftly and effectively. Under the normal state, the bias current adjustment can change the FCL voltage loss; under the fault state, the steady fault current can be easily adjusted to the preset level by bias current regulating. The experimental result is in accordance with the principle analysis and the FCL has the advantages of flexible control strategy and simple and reliable structure. 展开更多

We present multicomponent flow models derived from the kinetic theory of gases and investigate the symmetric hyperbolic-parabolic structure of the resulting system of partial differential equations. We address the Cauchy problem for smooth solutions as well as the existence of deflagration waves, also termed anchored waves. We further discuss related models which have a similar hyperbolic-parabolic structure, notably the Saint- Venant system with a temperature equation as well as the equations governing chemical equilibrium flows. We next investigate multicomponent ionized and magnetized flow models with anisotropic transport fluxes which have a different mathematical structure. We finally discuss numerical algorithms specifically devoted to complex chemistry flows, in particular the evaluation of multicomponent transport properties, as well as the impact of multicomponent transport. 展开更多

In this study a mathematical model for two-dimensional pulsatile blood flow through overlapping constricted tapered vessels is presented. In order to establish resemblance to the in vivo conditions, an improved shape of the time-variant overlapping stenosis in the elastic tapered artery subject to pulsatile pressure gradient is considered. Because it contains a suspension of all erythrocytes, the flowing blood is represented by micropolar fluid. By applying a suitable coordinate transformation, tapered cosine-shaped artery turned into non-tapered rectangular and a rigid artery. The governing nonlinear partial differential equations under the imposed realistic boundary conditions are solved using the finite difference method. The effects of vessel tapering on flow characteristics consid- ering their dependencies with time are investigated. The results show that by increasing the taper angle the axial velocity and volumetric flow rate increase and the microrota- tional velocity and resistive impedance reduce. It has been shown that the results are in agreement with similar data from the literature. 展开更多
