Effects of reflowing temperature and time on the alloy layer of tinplate and its electrochemical behavior in 3.5%NaCl solution were investigated by electrochemical measurements and surface characterization.It is found that the amount of alloy layer increases with the increase of reflowing temperature and time.Then the corrosion potential of detinned tinplate shifts positively and the corrosion rate decreases.After being coupled with tin,the detinned tinplate acts as cathode and tin acts as anode initially.However,after being exposed for some time,the potential shifts of both detinned tinplate and tin reverse the polarity of the coupling system.The galvanic current density decreases with the increase of reflowing temperature and time. 展开更多

Fiber metal laminates(FMLs),a kind of lightweight material with excellent comprehensive performance,have been successfully applied in aerospace.FMLs reinforced with carbon fiber have better mechanical properties than those with glass or aramid fiber.However,carbon fiber binding metal may lead to galvanic corrosion which limits its application.In this paper,electrochemical methods,optical microscope and scanning electron microscope were used to analyze the corrosion evolution of carbon fiber reinforced aluminum laminate(CARALL)in corrosive environment and explore anti-corrosion ways to protect CARALL.The results show that the connection between carbon fiber and aluminum alloy changes electric potential,causing galvanic corrosion.The galvanic corrosion will obviously accelerate CARALL corroded in solution,leading to a 72.1%decrease in interlaminar shear strength,and the crevice corrosion has a greater impact on CARALL resulting in delamination.The reduction of interlaminar shear strength has a similar linear relationship with the corrosion time.In addition,the adhesive layers between carbon fiber and aluminum alloy cannot protect CARALL,while side edge protection can effectively slow down corrosion rate.Therefore,the exposed edges should be coated with anti-corrosion painting.CARALL has the potential to be used for aerospace components. 展开更多

A simple 3M-dimensional loop algebra X is produced, whose commutation operation defined by us is A1 as simple and straightforward as that in the loop algebra A1. It follows that a general scheme for generating multi-component integrable hierarchy is proposed. By taking advantage of X, a new isospectral problem is established, and then by making use of the Tu scheme the well-known multi-component Levi hierarchy is obtained. Finally, an expanding loop algebra FM of the loop algebra .X is presented, based on the FM, the multi-component integrable coupling system of the multi-component Levi hierarchy is worked out. The method in this paper can be applied to other nonlinear evolution equation hierarchies. 展开更多

A Contraction-expansion Helical Mixer in the Laminar Regime

A contraction-expansion helical mixer which combines several features, viz. helical pipes for induction of secondary flows and sudden expansion and contraction array tor expansion vortices, has been designed to en- hance flow mixing. A fast competitive-consecutive diazo coupling reaction is used to test the mixing efficiency of contraction-expansion helical mixer. Furthermore, an image processing technique is applied for data visualization and monitoring the extent of mixing. The mixing performance is found to be superior in comparison to the regular helical mixer in the range of Reynolds number from 170 to 1540. Moreover, the mixing time of contraction-expansion helical mixer was found to be reduced by more than 25% compared to the regular helical pipe. Finally, a simple correlation is proposed for predicting the mixing time. 展开更多

Complex formation of cerium (Ⅲ) with l-phenyl-2,3-dimethylpyrazolone-5-azo-4-pyrogallole (L) in the presence and absence ofcetylpyridine chloride (CPC) was investigated. Homogeneous CeL- and mixed ligand CeL-CPC compounds are formed at pH 6. Constants of stability of the complexes are (IgKD 5.15±0.02 (CeL), 7.98±0.03 (CeL-CPC). Ratio of reagents in composition of homogeneous is (1 :2) and in different ligand it equals to (1:2:2). Beer's law is observed in interval of concentration 1.12-11.2 μg/ml Ce. The technique for photometric determination of cerium was worked out in artificial mixture. 展开更多
