The geometric accuracy of topographic mapping with high-resolution remote sensing images is inevita-bly affected by the orbiter attitude jitter.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct preliminary research on the stereo mapping camera equipped on lunar orbiter before launching.In this work,an imaging simulation method consid-ering the attitude jitter is presented.The impact analysis of different attitude jitter on terrain undulation is conduct-ed by simulating jitter at three attitude angles,respectively.The proposed simulation method is based on the rigor-ous sensor model,using the lunar digital elevation model(DEM)and orthoimage as reference data.The orbit and attitude of the lunar stereo mapping camera are simulated while considering the attitude jitter.Two-dimensional simulated stereo images are generated according to the position and attitude of the orbiter in a given orbit.Experi-mental analyses were conducted by the DEM with the simulated stereo image.The simulation imaging results demonstrate that the proposed method can ensure imaging efficiency without losing the accuracy of topographic mapping.The effect of attitude jitter on the stereo mapping accuracy of the simulated images was analyzed through a DEM comparison. 展开更多

Conventional seismic exploration,mostly based on reflection theory,hardly has accurate imaging results for disaster geologic bodies which have small scale,steep dip,or complex structure.In this paper,we design two typical geologic models for analyzing the characteristics of scattered waves in mines for forward modeling by finite difference and apply the equivalent offset migration(EOM)and EOM-based interference stack migration methods to mine prospecting.We focus on the analysis of scatted imaging’s technological superiority to reflection imaging.Research shows:1)scattered imaging can improve fold and make the best of weak scattered information,so it shows better results than post-stack migration imaging and 2)it can utilize the diffraction stack migration method-based ray path theory for mine seismic advanced prediction,so it provides an new efficient imaging method for improving resolution of mine seismic exploration. 展开更多

Graph-theoretical approaches have been widely used for data clustering and image segmentation recently. The goal of data clustering is to discover the underlying distribution and structural information of the given data, while image segmentation is to partition an image into several non-overlapping regions. Therefore, two popular graph-theoretical clustering methods are analyzed, including the directed tree based data clustering and the minimum spanning tree based image segmentation. There are two contributions: (1) To improve the directed tree based data clustering for image segmentation, (2) To improve the minimum spanning tree based image segmentation for data clustering. The extensive experiments using artificial and real-world data indicate that the improved directed tree based image segmentation can partition images well by preserving enough details, and the improved minimum spanning tree based data clustering can well cluster data in manifold structure. 展开更多

The local and global mechanical responses of gas tungsten arc welds(GTAW) of a 2219-T87 aluminum alloy were investigated with experiment and numerical simulation.Digital image correlation(DIC) was used to access the local strain fields in transversely loaded welds and to determine the local stress-strain curves of various regions in the joint.The results show that the DIC method is efficient to acquire the local stress-strain curves but the curves of harder regions are incomplete because the stress and strain ranges are limited by the weakest region.With appropriate extrapolation,the complete local stress-strain curves were acquired and proved to be effective to predict the tensile behavior of the welded joint.During the tensile process,the fracture initiates from the weld toes owing to their plastic strain concentrations and then propagates along the fusion line,finally propagates into the partially melted zone(PMZ). 展开更多

A novel spatial interpolation method based on integrated radial basis function artificial neural networks (IRBFANNs) is proposed to provide accurate and stable predictions of heavy metals concentrations in soil at un- sampled sites in a mountain region. The IRBFANNs hybridize the advantages of the artificial neural networks and the neural networks integration approach. Three experimental projects under different sampling densities are carried out to study the performance of the proposed IRBFANNs-based interpolation method. This novel method is compared with six peer spatial interpolation methods based on the root mean square error and visual evaluation of the distribution maps of Mn elements. The experimental results show that the proposed method performs better in accuracy and stability. Moreover, the proposed method can provide more details in the spatial distribution maps than the compared interpolation methods in the cases of sparse sampling density. 展开更多

A high speed camera (1 000 frame/s) is employed to record fast-start maneuver. Three steps are taken to analyze the kinematics: first, the midline in the first image is partitioned into equal interval lengths and the coordinates of all inter segmental points are saved. Secondly, these points coordinates are searched in the next frame with the digital image correlation (DIC) method, then these points are fitted with a spline curve function. Repeat this step until all the midlines are figured out frame by frame. Finally, according to the variety of midlines, the kinematics of the fast-start is calculated. Using this system to test carp C-start, the duration is divided into two stages: stage 1 is defined as the formation of the C shape and stage 2 as the return flip of the tail followed with forward motion. By tracing the middle line, the kinematic parameters of turning rate, centre of mass (CM) turning rate, CM turning radius, etc. are obtained. 展开更多

For eliminating the zero-order image in digital holography, a new method using the differential of the hologram intensity instead of the hologram itself for numerical reconstruction is proposed. This method is based on digital image processing. By analyzing the spatial spectrum of the off-axis digital hologram, it theoretically proves that the zero-order image can be effectively eliminated by differential before reconstruction. Then, the detected hologram is processed in the program with differential and reconstruction. Both the theoretical analysis and digital reconstruction results show that it can effectively eliminate the large bright spot in the center of the reconstructed image caused by the zero-order image, improve the image quality significantly, and render a better contrast of the reconstructed image. This method is very simple and convenient due to no superfluous optical elements and requiring only one time record. 展开更多

Tungsten inert gas (TIG) welded joints for 2219-T87 aluminum alloy are often used in the fuel tanks of large launch vehicles. Because of the massive loads these vehicles carry, dealing with weld reinforcement on TIG joints represents an important issue in their manufacturing and strength evaluation. Experimental and numerical simulation methods were used to investigate the effects of weld toe shape and weld toe position on the tensile behavior and mechanical properties of these joints. The simulation results indicated that the relative difference in elongation could be as large as 96.9% caused by the difference in weld toe shape. The joints with weld toes located in the weld metal or in the partially melted zone (PMZ) exhibited larger elongation than joints with weld toes located at the juncture of the weld metal and the PMZ. 展开更多
