The principle of gravitational wave generation using the fluctuation in strain field induced by magnetic field is introduced. Using both foregoing gravitational wave generator and gravitational wave detector (i.e. laser interferometric gravitational wave antenna), the gravitational communication system can be possible. This paper introduces its content presented at 20th Annual Lecture (1989) and the research trends in the latest gravitational wave.展开更多

Some interesting phenomena such as the multi-peak structure, extreme spectral narrowing, and cancellation of spontaneous emission can be observed by adjusting controllable system parameters. Moreover, these phenomena depend on the constructive or destructive quantum interference between multiple decay channels and which can be changed appreciably by varying the phase difference between the two circularly polarized components of the probe field. These results demonstrate the importance of an elliptially polarized laser field in controlling the spontaneous emission and its potential applications in high-precision spectroscopy.展开更多

The MZI consists of two spherical structures formed on standard single mode fiber(SMF). The interference wavelength and the power of the sensing structure are sensitive to the external refractive index(RI). Since RI of the MF is sensitive to the magnetic field, the magnetic field measurement can be realized by detecting the variation of the interference spectrum. Experimental results show that the wavelength and the power of interference dip both increase with the increase of magnetic field intensity.展开更多
