The results showed that the absorption spectra of phycoerythrins ( PE) from different material changed significantly, while those of phycocyanins (PC) and allophycocyanins (APC) were basically similar. In order to disclose the essence of die difference, partial sequences of die subunit genes of PE of Qingdao strain of G. lemaneiformis (qd) and its pigmental mutants were determined. The amino acid sequences were deduced and used to explain spectral shifts of PE from the pigmental mutants. The amino acid sequences of PE resembled each other, and several residues changed among qd and its pigmental mutants. Residue substitutions were found in a region consisting of amino acids which determined are secondary structure and subunits interactions, thus might influence the confirmation and interaction of subunits, and further caused spectral deviation.展开更多

We select multi-mode coherent field as continuous variable field. It is found that the qubits can not gain tripartite entanglement for states of close to GHZ state from the multi-mode coherent field. Moreover, the ability of the qubits gain the tripartite entanglement for states close to W state and bipartite entanglement from the continuous variable system is depended on the phase of multi-mode coherent field.展开更多

Our protocol shows that the graphene-based quantum dots can be distributed in a maximally entangled state through the interaction with single photons. In our proposed scheme, the setups are simplified as only single-photon detection is required. This provides a fast, all-optical manipulation of on-chip qubits, which gives an effective way for quantum information processing in graphene-based solid qubits.展开更多

The secret message can be independently encoded on the photon pairs with 64 unitary operations in all three DOFs. This protocol has a higher capacity than previous QSDC protocols because each photon pair can carry 6 bits of information, not just 2 or 4 bits. Our QSDC protocol decreases the influence of decoherence from environment noise by exploiting the decoy photons to check the security of the transmission of the first photon sequence. Compared with two-way QSDC protocols, our QSDC protocol is immune to an attack by an eavesdropper using Trojan horse attack strategies because it is a one-way quantum communication. The QSDC protocol has good applications in the future quantum communication because of all these features.展开更多
