Burst and inter-arrival time distributions are simulated under time-based and length-based assembly schemes. Self-similar traffic Hurst parameter is compared through R/S and V/T plot. Finally three self-similar traffic generating methods are given. Simulation resuhs demonstrate that, muhi-source traffic increases self-similar degree, however after assembly, time-based scheme can decrease self similar degree, and aggregated burst size is close to Gaussian distribution. Length-based method has no effects on the self-similarity of input traffic. RMD is fit for study of burst network with large self-similarity.展开更多

Hybrid optical switching networks make full use of the advantages of Optical Circuit Switching(OCS)and Optical Burst Switching(OBS).In parallel hybrid optical switching networks,edge nodes choose a switching mode for ...Hybrid optical switching networks make full use of the advantages of Optical Circuit Switching(OCS)and Optical Burst Switching(OBS).In parallel hybrid optical switching networks,edge nodes choose a switching mode for traffic and no longer change.The inflexible decision making of the traffic transfer mode leads to low resource utilization when the arrival rate of the OCS traffic is lower than the capacity of the light path.In this paper,a new transmission scheme is proposed to improve resource utilization for hybrid optical switching networks.When the traffic arrival rate of the light path is lower than the transmission rate of the light path,the OCS traffic flow is reshaped at the edge nodes to generate a series of voids.Then,several message packets are sent along the light path to inform the core nodes of the voids of the light paths that represent the unused bandwidth resources.To improve the resource utilization,the voids can be filled with data bursts by core nodes.The simulation results show that the new scheme can effectively reduce the burst loss rate and improve the link utilization of the hybrid optical switching network on the premise of a providing service quality guarantee for OCS traffic.展开更多

It has been found that with in...The morphological change of St/DVB crosslinked gels during chloromethylation wasstudied by fluorescence spectroscopy using St/DVB crosslinked and hypercrosslinked gels as controlsamples. It has been found that with increase of chlorine content, the excimer emission band (~325nm)approaches to vanish, while the intensity of multi-ring aggregate emission band (~420nm) quicklyreaches a maximum, and then decreases sharply accompanied by appearance ofa new broad bandcentred at ca 488nm which roughly coincides with the typical emission band of hypercrossllinkedSt/DVB gels. Mearwhile, the result of IR measurement suggests that methylene bridge between phenylrings forms and increases with chloromethylation process. These results are explained in terms ofaside reaction of post-crosslinking, which densifies the loosely crosslinked networks and undoes thedensely entangled microgel nuclei. As a result, the morphology of the crosslinked gels becom es morehomogeneous with chloromethylation.展开更多
Large-scale single crystals have potential applications in many fields,such as in ferroelectric and photoelectric energy conversion devices.Perovskite oxynitrides have also attracted attention in photoelectrochemical ...Large-scale single crystals have potential applications in many fields,such as in ferroelectric and photoelectric energy conversion devices.Perovskite oxynitrides have also attracted attention in photoelectrochemical water splitting systems because of their high theoretical solar-to-hydrogen efficiencies.Nevertheless,the synthesis of perovskite oxynitride single crystals requires the coupling of cation exchange and ammonization processes,which is exceptionally challenging.The present study demonstrates an inorganic vapor method that provides,for the first time ever,high-quality epitaxial perovskite SrTaO_(2)N single crystals on the centimeter scale.Assessments using Raman spectroscopy,crystal structure analysis and density functional theory determined that the conversion mechanism followed a topotactic transition mode.Compared with conventional SrTaO_(2)N particle-assembled films,the SrTaO_(2)N single crystals made in this work were free of interparticle interfaces and grain boundaries,which exhibited extremely high performance during photoelectrochemical water oxidation.In particular,these SrTaO_(2)N single crystals showed the highest photocurrent density at 0.6 V vs.RHE(1.20 mA cm^(−2)) and the highest photocurrent filling factor(47.6%)reported to date,together with a low onset potential(0.35 V vs.RHE).This onset potential was 200 mV less than that of the reported in situ SrTaO_(2)N film,and the photocurrent fill factor was improved by 2 to 3 times.展开更多
