We examined the scavenging effects of PCF on superoxide anions ( O?2 ), hydroxyl radicals (OH·), peroxynitrite (ONOO-) and the inhibiting capacity of PCF on peroxidation of linoleic acid. Our experiment suggested that PCF could scavenge oxygen free radicals including superoxide anions ( O2? ) (IC50 =0.3 mg/ml), hydroxyl radicals (OH·) (IC50 = 0.2 μg/ml) generated from the reaction systems and effectively inhibit the oxidative activity of ONOO- (IC50 = 0.2 mg/ml). At 1.25 mg/ml of PCF, the inhibi- tion ratio on lipid peroxidation of linoleic acid was 43 %. The scavenging effect of PCF on O?2 , OH· and ONOO- free radicals were stronger than those of vitamin C but less on lipid peroxidation of linoleic acid. Thus PCF could scavenge free radicals and inhibit the peroxidation of linoleic acid in vitro. It is an anti- oxidant from marine products and potential for industrial production in future.展开更多

Vegetable oil heat-treated were subjected to short UV illumination, and the produced alkyl-oxyl radicals were identified and quantified using the ESR spin trapping technique. ESR signal intensity was used as an indicator of oil oxidation, which monotonically increased as a function of the heat-treatment time. Commercially, available oils were selected and analyzed. The results were compared with those obtained using the PV and AV methods. The present method displayed some analogies with the PV method at least in the early stage of heating. Overall, the present method had highly sensitive and capable of detecting early-stage oxidation in vegetable oil.展开更多

The kinetic energy release spectra and the recoiling angular distributions of fragmented Br(2P3/2) and Br(2P1/2) atoms from photodissociation of m-bromofluorobenzene have been measured at diff)rent photolysis wavelengths around 240 nm. The experimental results indicate that two dissociation pathways via (pre-)dissociation of the two low-lying 1ππ excited states dominate the production process of the ground state Br(2P3/2) atoms. Because of the weak spin-orbit coupling eff)ct among the low-lying triplet and singlet states, the spin-orbit excited Br(2P1/2) atoms are mainly produced via singlet-triplet state coupling in the dissociation step. The similarity between the present results and that recently reported for o-bromofluorobenzene indicates that the substitution position of the fluorine atom does not significantly affect the UV photodissociation dynamics of bromofluorobenzenes.展开更多

Commun. 6 (2015) 6162], we study the ground state of polar-core spin vortex of quasi-2D spin-2 condensate in a homogeneous trap plus a weak magnetic field. The exact spatial distribution of local spin is obtained and the vortex core are observed to decrease with the growth of the effective spin-spin interaction. For the larger effective spin-spin interaction, the spatial distribution of spin magnitude in spin-2 condensate we obtained agrees well with that of spin-1 condensate in a homogeneous trap, where a polar-core spin vortex was schematically demonstrated as a fully-magnetized planar spin texture with a zero-spin core. The effective spin-spin interaction is proportional to both the bare spin-spin interaction and the radius of the homogeneous trap, simultaneously. Thus the polar-core spin vortex we obtained can be easily controlled by the radius of the trap.展开更多
