激光暗荧光光谱电场测量微扰计算与实验

为了实现强流脉冲电子束对材料表面改性的工业化应用,需要对电子束的作用过程进行实时微扰监测。电场强度是反映电子束特性的关键参数之一,基于Stark效应的激光暗荧光光谱可实现对环境电场的微扰测量。因此,开展激光功率密度对环境电场... 为了实现强流脉冲电子束对材料表面改性的工业化应用,需要对电子束的作用过程进行实时微扰监测。电场强度是反映电子束特性的关键参数之一,基于Stark效应的激光暗荧光光谱可实现对环境电场的微扰测量。因此,开展激光功率密度对环境电场的影响研究,对此类电场测量方法的参数设置和结果判断具有重要的理论和应用价值。通过理论分析和计算得出电场测量微扰状态下的激光功率密度与试验环境的关系模型。基于上述关系模型,搭建测试平台,验证激光功率密度对电场测量微扰的情况。实验结果表明:在示踪气体氙气压强为1.0×10^(-4)mbar、电场强度不大于2 kV/cm的条件下,对电场测量微扰的激光功率密度值为5 MW/cm^(2),与理论计算值基本一致。研究结果填补了激光暗荧光光谱诊断方法中激光功率密度对电场影响定量分析的空白,可应用于同类电场测量方法中,为激光功率密度与实验参数的设置提供依据和参照,有效支撑电场测量实验的开展,有效提升电场测量的准确性。 展开更多

We propose and analyze a novel Si-based electro-optic modulator with an improved metal-oxide-semiconductor (MOS) capacitor configuration integrated into silicon-on-insulator (SOl). Three gate-oxide layers embedded in the silicon waveguide constitute a triple MOS capacitor structure, which boosts the modulation efficiency compared with a single MOS capacitor. The simulation results demonstrate that the Vπ Lπ product is 2. 4V · cm. The rise time and fall time of the proposed device are calculated to be 80 and 40ps from the transient response curve, respectively,indicating a bandwidth of 8GHz. The phase shift efficiency and bandwidth can be enhanced by rib width scaling. 展开更多

Molecular frame photoemission is a very sensitive probe of the photoionization (PI) dynamics of molecules. This paper reports a comparative study of non-resonant and resonant photoionization of D2 induced by VUV circularly polarized synchrotron radiation at SOLEIL at the level of the molecular frame photoelectron angular distributions (MFPADs). We use the vector correlation method which combines imaging and time-of-flight resolved electron-ion coincidence techniques, and a generalized formalism for the expression of the Ⅰ(χ, θe, Фe) MFPADs, where χ is the orientation of the molecular axis with respect to the light quantization axis and (θe, Фe) the electron emission direction in the molecular frame. Selected MFPADs for a molecule aligned parallel or perpendicular to linearly polarized light, or perpendicular to the propagation axis of circularly polarized light, are presented for dissociative photoionization (DPI) of D2 at two photon excitation energies, hv=19 eV, where direct PI is the only channel opened, and hv=32.5 eV, i.e. in the region involving resonant excitation of Q1 and Q2 doubly excited state series. We discuss in particular the properties of the circular dichroism characterizing photoemission in the molecular frame for direct and resonant PI. In the latter case, a remarkable behavior is observed which may be attributed to the interference occurring between undistinguishable autoionization decay channels. 展开更多

Designing excellent mid-infrared nonlinear optical materials with fluorooxo-functional group of d^0 transition metal oxyfluorides 被引量:7

Exploration of new infrared(IR) nonlinear optical(NLO) materials is still in urgency owing to the indispensable roles in optoelectronic devices, resource exploration, and long-distance laser communication. The formidable challenge is to balance the contradiction between wide band gaps and large second harmonic generation(SHG) effects in IR NLO materials. In the present work, we proposed new kinds of NLO active units, d^0 transition metal fluorooxofunctional groups for designing mid-IR NLO materials. By studying a series of d^0 transition metal oxyfluorides(TMOFs),the influences of fluorooxo-functional groups with different d^0 configuration cations on the band gap and SHG responses were explored. The results reveal that the fluorooxo-functional groups with different d^0 configuration cations can enlarge band gaps in mid-IR NLO materials. The first-principles calculations demonstrate that the nine alkali/alkaline earth metals d^0 TMOFs exhibit wide band gaps(all the band gaps >3.0 e V), large birefringence Δn(> 0.07), and two W/Mo TMOFs also exhibit large SHG responses. Moreover, by comparing with other fluorooxo-functional groups, it is found that introducing fluorine into building units is an effective way to enhance optical performance. These d^0 TMOFs with superior fluorooxo-functional groups represent a new exploration family of the mid-IR region, which sheds light on the design of mid-IR NLO materials possessing large band gap. 展开更多
