基于全球汉语中介语语料库的现代汉语短语偏误分析

汉语中的短语结构在世界语言体系中是十分独特的存在,因此汉语学习者在学习短语结构时偏误率较高。基于语料库的偏误分析是近年来国际中文教育界中较为普遍的研究题材,在理论和方法上都十分成熟。本文依托偏误分析理论和中介语理论,基于全球汉语中介语语料库中丰富的语料,在对现代汉语中常见的十一种短语结构的偏误进行统计分析,得出最常发生偏误的短语结构,再在量化分析的基础上,对短语结构的偏误进行质性分析,并结合笔者的实际教学经验得出偏误的原因,以及在教学中如何改进。

基于中介语语料库中多义词“还有”的偏误分析

多义词“还有”是国际中文教育教学过程中的重点词汇之一,在留学生进行跨文化交际过程中能够正确地使用发挥着不可替代的作用。笔者根据全球汉语中介语语料库中“还有”的语料内容,采用定量定性的研究方法研究了留学生使用“还有”时所产生的偏误情况。本文把分析偏误类型分为“误代、误加、遗漏”三种情况,并进一步分析偏误产生的原因,从而帮助留学生更有效地习得“还有”。The polysemous word “Hai You” is one of the keywords in the process of international Chinese education and teaching, and it plays an irreplaceable role in the correct use of foreign students in cross-cultural communication. Based on the corpus content of “Hai You” in the global Chinese Interlanguage Corpus, the author uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to study the errors made by foreign students when using “Hai You”. In this paper, the types of analysis errors are divided into three situations: “wrong generation, wrong addition and omission”, and the causes of errors are further analyzed, so as to help foreign students acquire “you” more effectively.

英语现在已名符其实地成为国际语言(international language)。当今世界,如果不能有效地掌握和使用英语,就等于与世界割裂开来。英语的全球化,也伴随着英语的本土化,中国英语便是英语和中国本土文化相结合的产物,它已成为中国向世界传达自己观点的有效通道。本文就中国英语产生的必然性、合理性及普及中国英语的方法作一简要阐释。

基于语料库的汉语学习者句末“了”使用情况跨区域分析

本文基于“TOCFL1学习者语料库”和“全球汉语中介语语料库”,对母语为韩语的汉语学习者句末“了”的使用情况进行了跨区域对比分析。研究发现两个区域的汉语学习者使用句末“了”的频率均大于使用动词后“了”,两个区域的汉语学习者在习得句末“了”时均高频使用表状态改变的句末“了”这一典型意义,低频使用表话题协商的句末“了”,基本符合原型范畴理论指导下句末“了”的教学建议。这一研究有助了解不同地区汉语学习者句末“了”的使用情况,为汉语二语教学提供有益信息。

跨文化翻译中的归化和异化

翻译是一种跨文化的交流活动,随着各国、各民族之间往来的日益频繁,迫切需要相互理解、相互学习。不同语言间的差异不仅表现在语音、词汇和句法等形式上,更表现在其文化特色上。"归化"与"异化"是缓和源语文化和目的语文化在翻译过程中矛盾冲突的主要方法,长期以来"归化"译文出现频率往往较高,然而在当今文化全球化的时代背景下,适度增加"异化"翻译的运用对本土文化的传播和外来文化的接受不无裨益。翻译界对"归化"和"异化"的讨论很多,但这些文章更多是停留在语言研究的层面,本文将从跨文化的角度来探讨翻译中的"归化"与"异化"。

English, as a language of wide communication, is an international language in both a global and local sense. Its global spread and evolution have been topics of heated discussion. This paper reviews briefly the history and relevant literature of the globalization of English, and explores its implications in English language teaching, especially in the Chinese context.

Analysis of the thinking method of English teaching under network environment

How to make a good job of foreign language teaching and improve the quality of teaching is a topic which the general teaching workers are facing, in this paper, the author express ideas from many aspects, multi-angle, multi-level, this brings a valuable theory reference on methods of English teaching which is under network environment. As for the problems of how to solve the bottle neck of English teaching, how to train the talent who are more adaptive to the world economy globalization, how to get rid of the traditional teaching method in teaching and how to improve the teaching level more efficiently, this paper gave some good methods and suggestions.

Identity, the Main Term of Contrast between ＂Globalization＂ and ＂Universalization＂ An Interpretention with a Critical Linguistic Approach

Communicational and international developments have different aspects in today＇s world so that some terms like ＂Internationalization,＂ ＂Liberalization,＂ ＂Universalization,＂ ＂Westernization,＂ ＂Deterritorialization＂ find interferences in social sciences and humanities studies. But these terms can generally be distinguished by two different categories of study as some experts have emphasized that the above developments are in the process （Globalization） while the others considered them on the project （To Globalize）. The main problem is that how we can find out the focal point of both studies through which the accuracy of these claims to be verified to know whether contemporary changes and evolutions are formed in a process or a project. It seems that the focal point in the sphere of both claims （processes and projects） is the issue of ＂identity＂ since both spheres agree that the concept of ＂identity＂ has passed a series of changes and developments, although each one renders the path and goal of ＂identity＂ changes by its own specific interpretations. In this article, we claim that using linguistic approach we are able to review the developments and evolutions＇ flow of identity in the present era and thereby it can be found that the developments in information and communication would lead to creating a process in the context of Globalization or a project on Universalization. The assumption of this study is that by explanation of the above-mentioned situation, we can see that based on the linguistic approach, the process of making identity is ＂context-based＂ and ＂conditional＂ as opposed to a project view formation and relative continuity of identification process would generally be subject to the condition.

Dynamics of Globalization： Linguistic and Cultural Perspectives in Nigeria

The word globalization and what it stands for is no longer new in the world of today. However, there is still no universal definition of globalization. The Effect of Globalization on the Language Policy in a Multi-Cultural Kazakhstan

This paper focuses on the language policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is intended to invite the readers for the broadening of the debate on the issues raised. The 20th century, for Kazakhs, became a century of tragic events which transformed them into the minority on their own native land. In spite of many collisions in history Kazakhs have not lost their language, the main wealth. At the beginning of the 21st century, Kazakhstan has tackled a lot of problems, connected with national and ethnic issues, social structure, and foreign and home policy. The influence of globalization is felt in every sphere of life in Kazakhstan. Serious ethno-demographic changes have occurred after gaining independence. Exploring English Language Learning Policies in Iran Based on Secondary School Course Books for Learning English in Light of Globalization and Culture

With the globalization of English, the macro and micro cultures of the users of English around the world interact intensively. Considering these conditions, the local and global cultural interface seems an important issue which needs to be clarified in the materials and books used for learning English. Thus, the focus of this study was to explore the language learning policy of the new Iranian English course book at high schools, Prospect 1, recently published and taught for a year in Iran, in light of globalization and culture. This qualitative study was conducted through carrying out semi-structured interviews. The participants of this study were 30 teachers of Ministry of Education, who had the experience of teaching Prospect I for a year and they were mostly chosen from Mashhad and the rest from other cities of Khorasan province, Iran. The interview contained four main questions which were posed to the teachers. The findings of the study indicate that the language learning policy of Iran need to pay more attention to the learners＇ intercultural communicative competence because it mainly attempts at teaching English language focusing on the home culture in the Iranian context. The article ends with some pedagogical implications and more recommendations for developing research studies.

This paper introduces the film ＂Kung Fu Panda,＂ which contains the elements of Chinese culture and Western culture, respectively, from the philosophical thinking, animal image, folk life and expression of Chinglish and etiquette introduced Chinese elements, from individualism, fatalism and character introduced western culture reflected in the movie.The success of the film in the world shows that the new trend of the integration of Chinese and Western culture in the context of globalization. At the end of the paper, it gives the inspiration of the film ＂Kung Fu Panda＂ to the Chinese culture communication.

Enhance the confidence of the academic theories and promote the localization of the English professional teaching theories in Chinese universities

With the acceleration of the process of the globalization, the teaching of the English major is becoming more and more important. The teaching should take the students as the main subjects, and the teaching of English should be based on the ability of the students. Our country is a big economic country, and the knowledge of English is spread widely in China, but most of its theoretical researches are t^om abroad. We should pay enough attention to the contents of this theoretical research. This kind of situation has also aroused the high attention of the relevant educational personnel. Therefore, we need to improve the self-confidence of the academic theories, strengthen the existing teaching theories and promote the localization of the teaching of English majors in an all-round way, which is also the key point of this article.

Language Transfer on Screen Subtitling in Slovenia： Tradition vs. Globalization

Subtitling has a very different role in countries with millions of people speaking their language and in small countries like Slovenia. Considering the fact that dubbing costs ten times as much as subtitling, Slovenia has traditionally turned to subtitling in order to present foreign TV and film production to the audiences. The development of subtitling after WWll can be divided into two periods： before and after 1990, for obvious reasons. During the first period that started in the 1950s, the stress was on quality all along, additionally spurned by the development of technology. TV Ljubljana with its group of pro fessional translators was the leading motor of progress in this field. The translators were all college-educated and willing to study new technologies that on the one hand made their work less time-consuming and on the other more prone to direct peer criticism. Computer technology, even though the beginnings now resemble the age of dinosaurs, made a big difference. The University of Ljubljana established a translation department that worked closely with the TV translation department, thus linking theory and practice in the best of possible ways. All the efforts were centred on quality. Democracy, however, gradually transferred the stress onto quantity. The newly-established commercial TV houses started lowering translation fees, encouraging competition not in quality but in lower prices. Globalization brought a few international subtitling firms on the Slovene market, causing a drastic drop in translation fees. The best translators /bund other job opportunities while subtitling done by non-expert translators and inexperienced students can most often be described as ＂anything goes＂. The trouble is that the number of subtitles that a TV viewer reads per year amounts to a book of approximately a thousand pages. That means that bad translations on TV screens influence the quality level of language among the users, especially among young viewers devoted to the consumption of fast food and fast culture. The increasingly popular permissive view of language use at our universities is causing a drop in language standards and norms. It is a vicious circle that will be difficult to break.

~evelopment of the Political Discourse in Recent Decades in the United States Through the Inaugural Addresses

The aim of this paper is twofold： firstly, to make an analysis of what have been considered as the most important global problems faced in recent decades as seen by American Presidents through their inaugural addresses; and secondly, to consider how both parties have faced these problems. To do this, this paper will cover the period from the inaugural address by President Kennedy to that of President Obama. Although a president has repeated a term of government, only the first speech will be taken into consideration.

Local Literature in a Global World？ Catalan Literature for Children and Young People

This paper is part of a wider project being carried out by the Research Group Literary Education, Culture and Society, which has been subsidised by the Ministry of University of Spain. Our project＇s main aim is the close study of three closely interrelated phenomena, globalisation, exclusion and multiculturality, in order to determine the influences on the children and young people Literature. We intend in this paper to show the results of a first research made in a smaller corpus in order to better draw up the entire project.
