The stochastic resonance behavior of coupled stochastic resonance(SR)system with time-delay under mass and frequency fluctuations was studied.Firstly,the approximate system model of the time-delay system was obtained by the theory of small time-delay approximation.Then,the random average method and Shapiro-Loginov algorithm were used to calculate the output amplitude ratio of the two subsystems.The simulation analysis shows that increasing the time-delay and the input signal amplitude appropriately can improve the output response of the system.Finally,the system is applied to bearing fault diagnosis and compared with the stochastic resonance system with random mass and random frequency.The experimental results show that the coupled SR system taking into account the actual effect of time-delay and couple can more effectively extract the frequency of the fault signal,and thus realizing the diagnosis of the fault signal,which has important engineering application value. 展开更多

As the demand for bike-sharing has been increasing,the oversupply problem of bike-sharing has occurred,which leads to the waste of resources and disturbance of the urban environment.In order to regulate the supply volume of bike-sharing reasonably,an estimating model was proposed to quantify the urban carrying capacity(UCC)for bike-sharing through the demand data.In this way,the maximum supply volume of bike-sharing that a city can accommodate can be obtained.The UCC on bike-sharing is reflected in the road network carrying capacity(RNCC)and parking facilities’carrying capacity(PFCC).The space-time consumption method and density-based spatial clustering of application with noise(DBSCAN)algorithm were used to explore the RNCC and PFCC for bike-sharing.Combined with the users’demand,the urban load ratio on bike-sharing can be evaluated to judge whether the UCC can meet users’demand,so that the supply volume of bike-sharing and distribution of the related facilities can be adjusted accordingly.The application of the model was carried out by estimating the UCC and load ratio of each traffic analysis zone in Nanjing,China.Compared with the field survey data,the effect of the proposed algorithm was verified. 展开更多

To decrease breakdown time and improve machine operation reliability,accurate residual useful life(RUL) prediction has been playing a critical role in condition based monitoring.A data fusion method was proposed to achieve online RUL prediction of slewing bearings,which consisted of a reliability based RUL prediction model and a data driven failure rate(FR) estimation model.Firstly,an RUL prediction model was developed based on modified Weibull distribution to build the relationship between RUL and FR.Secondly,principal component analysis(PCA) was introduced to process multi-dimensional life-cycle vibration signals,and continuous squared prediction error(CSPE) and its time-domain features were employed as equipment performance degradation features.Afterwards,an FR estimation model was established on basis of the degradation features and relevant FRs using simplified fuzzy adaptive resonance theory map(SFAM) neural network.Consequently,real-time FR of equipment can be obtained through FR estimation model,and then accurate RUL can be calculated through the RUL prediction model.Results of a slewing bearing life test show that CSPE is an effective indicator of performance degradation process of slewing bearings,and that by combining actual load condition and real-time monitored data,the calculation time is reduced by 87.3%and the accuracy is increased by 0.11%,which provides a potential for online RUL prediction of slewing bearings and other various machineries. 展开更多

Action on Ageing in China: A Multi-Perspective Analysis

The unprecedented speed and magnitude of ageing in China are creating quagmires for its sustainable growth and development. China's simultaneous regime transition and socioeconomic transformation amplified the difficulty in finding comprehensive solutions to the fast expansion of ageing-induced demands. This paper analyzes the Chinese government's action on ageing from pohcy, politics, and management perspectives. While policy progress in pension, medical care, and elderly services is substantive, the capacity gap, regarding criteria like coverage, affordability, sustainability, and quality, remains large. Improved political visibility of elderly issues has enhanced their policy priority, but better channels of pohtical participation of older people are to be created and institutionalized. The ongoing trends in public management, induding intergovernmental networking, collaborative service delivery, and innovations in tools of governmental actions, have to be furthered and consolidated. The systematic challenges of ageing demand serious capacity development, and impose a mandate to modernize China's pohtical-administrative system. 展开更多
