The method is hased on the theory of the chatter stability and the semi-bandwidth of the resonant region. The objective function of the method is material removal rate(MRR),the constraints are chatter stability and surface finish, and the optimizing variables are cutting and structural parameters. The optimization procedure is stated. The method is applied to a milling system and CF-MRR is increased 18.86%. It is shown that the influences of the chatter stability and the resonance are simultaneously considered in the dynamic optimization of the milling system for increasing CF-MRR and the surface finish.展开更多

The equivalent body mass, the stiffness and the damping are derived from the modal charaCteristics. In this paper, a 3-dimensional space model is constructed to analyse the ground resonance. There is little difference between the calculated results of the 2-dimensional equivalent model and those of the 3-dimensional space model. Hence, the 2-dimensional model is verified for the practical application. Generally, the linear lead-lag damping of the equivalent rotor blade at the modal frequency is derived from the lead-lag damper characteristics by a procedure of iteration. The transformation of the imaginary part of the complex modulus of the viscoelastic damper into a linear velocity damping is complicated in analysis. A method to use the complex modulus directly in the ground resonance analysis is derived and verified.展开更多

UV-Vis spectra were employed to monitor the growth of the silver nanoplates. The resulting spectra indicated that, at an early stage, the products were spherical particles with planar nanoparticles appearing and growing subsequently. In the last stages of the process, some spherical particles were consumed by the growth of the nanoparticles, through an Ostwald ripening mechanism. Furthermore, it was found that the addition of either Poly(Vinyl Pyrrolidone) (PVP) or excessive citrate could stabilize the colloidal system effectively, and that rigorous stirring was necessary for the anticipant products, Introduction of a large quantities of sodium hydroxide can dramatically accelerate the reactive rate of the photoreduction process.展开更多

Soil quality studies in Canada during the 1980 s showed that loss of soil organic matter (SOM) and soil aggregate stability was standard features of non-sustainable land management in agroecosystems. In this study total soil organic carbon (SOC), particulate organic matter (POM), POM-C as a percentage of total SOC, and aggregate stability were determined for three cultivated fields and three adjacent grassland fields to a…展开更多

The fresh odor of raw myrrh and its hexane extract depended on the amount of (E)-13-ocimene. Myrrh was extracted with hexane to avoid inducing changes in the constituents and odor. The main constituent, (E)-L3-ocimene (group A; low boiling point), and the other constituents (group B; high boiling point) of the hexane extract were separated by bulb-to-bulb distillation. The constituents of groups A and B were analyzed over time by nuclear magnetic resonance analysis and the odors were evaluated. Myrrh's odor depended on both the amount of thermally unstable (E)-[3-ocimene, which contributed to the fresh odor, and the constituents of group B (thermally stable), which contributed to the myrrh-like odor. Six compounds (c^-santalene, (Z)-a-bisabolene, c^-bergamotene, (E)-ct-santalal, c^-photosantalol and campherenol) were isolated from group B. No individual group B component had a myrrh-like odor, although the combined odor of group B was myrrh like. The authors demonstrated that the aroma profile of myrrh depends on the thermal instability of (E)-^-ocimene and a combination of six thermally stable terpenes with similar molecular structures.展开更多
