In this scheme, the atoms pass through cavities one by one, simultaneously driven by a strong classical field in each cavity. Then the detection of the atomic states collapses the cavity fields onto multi-component entangled coherent states. It is shown that, with a judicious choice of the parameters of the classical field, we can conditionally produce macroscopic multi-dimensional maximal entanglement for the cavity modes.展开更多
This paper describes a structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis of factors influencing architects' trust in project design teams. We undertook a survey of architects, during which we distributed 193 questionnair...This paper describes a structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis of factors influencing architects' trust in project design teams. We undertook a survey of architects, during which we distributed 193 questionnaires in 29 A-level architectural design institutes selected radomly from the altogether 59 ones in Shenzhen, P. R. China, and received 130 valid questionnaires. We used Amos 6.0 for SEM to identify significant personal construct based factors affecting interpersonal trust. The results show that only social interaction between architects significantly affects their interpersonal trust. The explained variance of trus~ is not very high in the model. Therefore, future research should add more factors into the current model. The practical implication is that team managers should promote the social interactions between team members such that the interpersonal trust level between team members can be improved.展开更多

One hundred ninety questionnaires, referred from ICT usage pattern in organization which was ...The main objective of this research was to study the pattern and suggestion in ICT usage of tourism business in Chiang Mai. One hundred ninety questionnaires, referred from ICT usage pattern in organization which was divided into three sections: office work, communication/contacts and public relation/advertising, were gathered from tourism business in four districts in Chiang Mai. Results showed that of the tourism business only 54.7% have their own websites. Using ICT for public relations and advertisement purpose, hotel/accommodation was the highest users with majority as 29.3%; followed by tour operator with majority as 26.3%; transportation and souvenir was the lowest number of users with minority as 50.0% and 25.0%. For communication purpose hotel/accommodation business and tour operator business were high users with majority as 56.1% and 43.4% followed by restaurant business as moderate user with majority as 50.0%; and transportation business as the lowest user with minority as 31.1%. The paper suggested to owners of tourism businesses the following: (1) training on ICT application; (2) setting up center of tourism information; (3) low cost of intemet requirement from small tourism business because they lack technical person on ICT usage. Both the local and national governments should have important roles in supporting the small and medium tourism enterprises by providing good public facilities, technical expertise and easy information access.展开更多

This paper presents a review of the literature and our recent results on the self-assembly of one-, two- and three-dimensional anisotropic nanostructures using conjugated polymers as building blocks, including the formation of one-dimensional (1D) nanofibers and nanotubes, two-dimensional (2D) nanoribbons and nanosheets, and three-dimensional (3D) superstructures. Signal drift and performance instability of brain-computer interface devices induced by the interface failure between rigid metal electrodes and soft human skin hinder the precise data acquisition of electroencephalog...Signal drift and performance instability of brain-computer interface devices induced by the interface failure between rigid metal electrodes and soft human skin hinder the precise data acquisition of electroencephalogram(EEG).Thus,it is desirable to achieve a robust interface for brain-computer interface devices.Here,a kind of polydopamine methacrylamide-polyacrylamide(PDMA-PAAM)hydrogel is developed.To improve the adhesion,dopamine is introduced into the polyacrylamide hydrogel,through the amino and catechol groups of dopamine in an organic-inorganic interface to build a covalent and non-covalent interaction.A strong attachment and an effective modulus transition system can be formed between the metal electrodes and human skin,so that the peeling force between the PDMAPAAM hydrogel and the porcine skin can reach 22 N m^(-1).In addition,the stable conductivity and long-term operating life of the PDMA-PAAM hydrogel for more than 60 days at room temperature are achieved by adding sodium chloride(NaCl)and glycerol,respectively.The PDMA-PAAM hydrogel membrane fabricated in this work is integrated onto a flexible Au electrode applied in a brain-computer interface.In comparison,the collected EEG signal intensity and waveform are consistent with that of the commercial counterparts.And obviously,the flexible electrode with PDMA-PAAM hydrogel membrane is demonstrated to enable a more stable and userfriendly interface.展开更多
