In this paper, the analysis of bilobalide and ginkgolides in leaves of Ginkgo biloba L. by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-electrospray ionization (ESI)-mass spectrometry (MS) was carried out. The separation was performed on Inertsil ODS3 column with methanol-water (36:64) as mobile phase, with 1 mL·min -1 of flow rate at 35℃. Then the mass spectrum analysis was conducted by ZMD micromass electrospray ionization (ESI)-mass spectrometer (MS). The HPLC total ion chromatogram and selected ion chromatogram (with 325, 407, 423, 439 of m/z) of the sample and ESI-/MS mass spectra of the peaks in the chromatograms were obtained. So bilobalide, ginkgolide A, B, C and J in Ginkgo biloba L. leaves were identified. The method is easy and rapid, with a good accuracy.展开更多

The process was divided into five stages based on the internal force state of the beam and the assumptions of internal force relationship of five stages were proposed. Then, the formulas for determining the midspan deflection of the steel beam under distributed load, which was restrained both in rotational and axial directions, were obtained using restraint coefficient method and rigid-plastic mechanism, thereby the deformation development process was expressed accurately in a quantified way. Priority was given to the analysis of the process from bending to tension-bending, then the final state totally depends on tension to resist the external loads, that is the problem of catenary action of the restrained beam under distributed load. Additionally, finite element analysis was carried out with soitware ABAQUS6.7 on a restrained steel beam under distributed load with different axial and rotational restraint coefficients. The accuracy of the formulas presented was verified by the results of the behavior of the restrained beams. Finally, error analysis was conducted and some formulas were corrected according to the reasons of errors. The calculated results of corrected formulas match the FEM analysis results better, thus the accuracy of these formulas is improve .展开更多

By theoretical calculation, super absorbent polymer (SAP) size and its existent state in indoor static airflow were obtained. SAP content in the sampled air was tested through chemical analysis method and found to be 3.0-7.2 times that of the human health limit in production areas. The concentrations of total suspending particles (TSP) and respirable particles were achieved by weighing. Particles of the most concern differ for varied function areas. Particles smaller than 10μm are mostly produced in the main production process, and 73%-90% particles generated in packing areas are larger than 10μm. SAP raw material particles can easily changed to suspending form by inevitable extrusion and frication. Correlation between respirable particles and TSP agrees well with that in atmospheric environment.展开更多

With the help of energy absorber, collision kinetic energy can be controllably dissipated by the plastic deformation of structures. A new kind of multi-cell thin-walled structure called as bitubular polygonal tubes with internal walls(BPTIW) was constructed. The crashworthiness characteristics of BPTIWs were investigated by LS-DYNA. It can be found that the BPTIW with 12 sides has the most excellent crashworthiness characteristics. Therefore, based on response surface method(RSM) and multiobjective particle optimization(MOPSO) algorithm, the BPTIW with 12 sides was selected to optimize the dimensions of cross-sectional configuration under different constraints of energy absorption(EA) and crushing peak force(CPF). The results show that the optimal designs of BPTIW12 under different constraints present excellent crashworthiness characteristics and can be used in the practical engineering.展开更多

The main focus lies on the flow of the leading edge channels and the impact on theheat transfer. An experimental approach is performed with flow visualization via paint injection into water. Alsonumerical calculations are carried out in two sets, on the one hand water calculations accompanying the experimentsand on the other hand conjugate heat transfer calculations under realistic engine conditions. The latter calculationsare still ongoing delivering preliminary results.Five geometry configurations are investigated, three of them with differing turbulator arrangements in the leadingedge channels. The operating point of the base configuration is set to Re = 50,000 at the inlet while for the modifiedgeometries the pressure ratio is held constant compared to the base.Among several investigated configurations one could be identified that leads to a heat transfer enhancement inone leading edge channel 7 % larger compared to the base.展开更多
Background: Antithrombotic therapy using new oral anticoagulants (NOACs) in patients with atrial fibril- lation (AF) has been generally shown to have a favorable risk-benefit profile. Since there has been dispute...Background: Antithrombotic therapy using new oral anticoagulants (NOACs) in patients with atrial fibril- lation (AF) has been generally shown to have a favorable risk-benefit profile. Since there has been dispute about the risks of gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) and intracranial hemorrhage (ICH), we sought to conduct a systematic review and network meta-analysis using Bayesian inference to analyze the risks of GIB and ICH in AF patients taking NOACs. Methods: We analyzed data from 20 randomized controlled trials of 91 671 AF patients receiving anticoagulants, antiplatelet drugs, or placebo. Bayesian network meta-analysis of two different evidence networks was performed using a binomial likelihood model, based on a network in which different agents (and doses) were treated as separate nodes. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were modeled using Markov chain Monte Carlo methods Results: Indirect comparisons with the Bayesian model confirmed that aspirin+clopidogrel significantly increased the risk of GIB in AF patients compared to the placebo (OR 0.33, 95% CI 0.01-0.92). Warfarin was identified as greatly increasing the risk of ICH compared to edoxaban 30 mg (OR 3.42, 95% CI 1.22-7.24) and dabigatran 110 mg (OR 3.56, 95% CI 1.10-8.45). We further ranked the NOACs for the lowest risk of GIB (apixaban 5 mg) and ICH (apixaban 5 mg, dabigatran 110 mg, and edoxaban 30 mg). Conclusions: Bayesian network meta-analysis of treatment of nonvalvular AF patients with anticoagulants suggested that NOACs do not increase risks of GIB and/or ICH, compared to each other.展开更多

Increasing contact among the BRICS countries is resulting in greate...The emergence of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (the BRICS) poses important challenges to social scientists in these five countries. Increasing contact among the BRICS countries is resulting in greater awareness of differences. Conflicts among them are inevitable. This paper focuses upon the relations between social actors from the BRICS countries, and is written from a Brazilian perspective. After a brief examination of the BRICS concept and a review of some contemporary challenges to sociological research and visions of globalisation, the paper will examine three distinct dimensions of relations between BRICS partners in a globalising world: supra-national organisation, economic and cultural exchanges( Wieviorka 2008 ). The key assumption of this paper is that it is necessary to build research agenda that can help develop sociological knowledge and provide a basis for building mutual understanding of the diverse forms of social interaction produced when actors from these countries enter into contact with each other. For example, increasingly cultural content produced in each of the BRICS is transmitted to others, the study of how such content is received and incorporated into the world views of different categories of receivers, especially youth, appears as a fertile area for study. The analysis of emergent conflicts is also an area to which sociological analysis can make an important contribution. As the BRICS develop, meaningful dialogue becomes both a value and a necessity.
