Effect on the composite regeneration time from various factors such as mass flow rate of exhaust gas, temperature of exhaust gas, oxygen concentration of exhaust gas, microwave power and amount of cerium-based additive are investigated. And a mathematical model based on fuzzy least squares support vector machines has been developed to forecast the endpoint of the composite regeneration. The results show that the relative error of endpoint forecasting model of composite regeneration is less than 3.5%, and the oxygen concentration of exhaust gas has the biggest effect on the endpoint of composite regeneration, followed by the mass flow rate of exhaust gas, the microwave power, the temperature of exhaust gas and the amount of cerium-based additive.展开更多

In this paper, the network coding and power optimization are applied to improve system sum-rate. But max-rain optimization problem in power allocation is a NP-hard problem. In high Signal-to-Noise Ratio regime, this NP-hard problem is transformed into constrained polynomial optimization problem, which can be computed in polynomial time. Although it is a suboptimal solution, numerical simulations show that this strategy enhances the system sum-rate up to 45% as compared to a traditional four-phase strategy, and up to 13% as compared to the three-phase strategy without power optimization.展开更多

Allocation of fixe or flow-dependent inter-zone trading capacities by the PX (power exchange) can not be accepted unreservedly. The paper is meant to show that a nodal electricity market design that is based on bids for local energy and a regulated transmission access including allocation of "entry-exit" transmission capacity would be the desired solution. The market players could easily optimize their portfolio while the TSOs (transmission system operators) are requested to mobilize the network's in-built flexibility to increase the cross zonal capacity. In the proposed market design, the PX's allocation of trading capacity is clearly separate from the TSO's management of the power system operational constraint5. Clear operator roles would enlarge access to electricity market as well as market integration of variable RESs (renewable energy sources) that are critically dependent on short notice access to regionat markets,展开更多

A hallmark of EMT is the switch-like behavior during state transition, which is characteristic of phase transitions. Hence, detecting the tipping point just before mesenchymal state transition is critical for understanding molecular mechanism of EMT. Through dynamic network biomarkers(DNB) model, a DNB group with 37 genes was identified which can provide the early-warning signals of EMT. Particularly, we found that two DNB genes, i.e., SMAD7 and SERPINE1 promoted EMT by switching their regulatory network which was further validated by biological experiments. Survival analyses revealed that SMAD7 and SERPINE1 as DNB genes further acted as prognostic biomarkers for lung adenocarcinoma.展开更多

First, we formulate the model and obtain its basic properties. Then, we find the equilibrium points of the model, the disease-free and the endemic equilibrium. The stability of disease-free and endemic equilibrium is associated with the basic reproduction number R0. If the basic reproduction number R0〈 1, the disease- free equilibrium is locally as well as globally asymptotically stable. Moreover, if the basic reproduction number R0 〉 1, the disease is uniformly persistent and the unique endemic equilibrium of the system is locally as well as globally asymptotically stable under certain conditions. Finally, the numerical results justify the analytical results.展开更多

Although the genetic factors in ASD are mainly unknown, a large number of gene mutations have been found, especially in genes involved in neurogenesis. The Neurexin-Neuroligin-Shank (NRXN-NLGN-SHANK) pathway plays a key role in the formation, maturation and maintenance of synapses, consistent with the hypothesis of neurodevelopmental abnormality in ASD. Presynaptic NRXNs interact with postsynaptic NLGNs in excitatory glutamatergic synapses. SHANK proteins function as core components of the postsynaptic density (PSD) by interacting with multiple proteins. Recently, deletions and point mutations of the SHANK1 gene have been detected in ASD individuals, indicating the involvement of SHANK1 in ASD. This review focuses on the function of SHANK1 protein, Shankl mouse models, and the molecular genetics of the SHANK1 gene in human ASD.展开更多

It is found that the dynamics of this model are determined by two threshold parameters R0 and R1, basic reproduction numbers for viral infection and for CTL response, respectively. If R0 〈 1, the infection-free equilibrium P0 is globally asymptotically stable. If R1 〈 1 〈 R0, the asymptomatic-carrier equilibrium P1 is globally asymptotically stable. If R1 〉 1, there exists a unique HAM/TSP equilibrium P2. The stability of P2 is changed when the second delay T2 varies, that is there exist stability switches for P2.展开更多
