由于采集信息装置简单和外界环境复杂,以及对识别方法的实时性、准确性要求,使得交通标志识别成为一项难题.首先根据交通标志特殊颜色信息和规则几何外形,利用边界矩技术迅速清除干扰区域,然后将剩下的区域规格化,送入训练好的决策树型... 由于采集信息装置简单和外界环境复杂,以及对识别方法的实时性、准确性要求,使得交通标志识别成为一项难题.首先根据交通标志特殊颜色信息和规则几何外形,利用边界矩技术迅速清除干扰区域,然后将剩下的区域规格化,送入训练好的决策树型支持向量机识别.在决策树型向量机训练阶段,使用模糊聚类算法,较好地完成了树型建构,使向量机具有良好的区分度.对大量实景图像进行实验证明,本研究方法具有平移、旋转、缩放、拉伸不变性和较强的容噪能力. 展开更多

Since the early 1990, significant progress in database technology has provided new platform for emerging new dimensions of data engineering. New models were introduced to utilize the data sets stored in the new generations of databases. These models have a deep impact on evolving decision-support systems. But they suffer a variety of practical problems while accessing real-world data sources. Specifically a type of data storage model based on data distribution theory has been increasingly used in recent years by large-scale enterprises, while it is not compatible with existing decision-support models. This data storage model stores the data in different geographical sites where they are more regularly accessed. This leads to considerably less inter-site data transfer that can reduce data security issues in some circumstances and also significantly improve data manipulation transactions speed. The aim of this paper is to propose a new approach for supporting proactive decision-making that utilizes a workable data source management methodology. The new model can effectively organize and use complex data sources, even when they are distributed in different sites in a fragmented form. At the same time, the new model provides a very high level of intellectual management decision-support by intelligent use of the data collections through utilizing new smart methods in synthesizing useful knowledge. This paper describes a development of multilevel meteorological data acquisition system implemented at Kalpakkam coastal site for atmospheric dispersion and model validation studies. Meteorological data are one of the most important inputs into any air dispersion model. As a part of atmospheric dispersion modeling studies and developing a methodology to forecast the site-specific dispersion characteristics, the real time monitoring of meteorological parameters assumes significance. This is achieved by erecting met towers instrumented at multilevel and single level at different locations with sensors for measuring various meteorological parameters. Real-world data logging applications involve not only just acquiring and recording signals, but also combination of offline analysis, display, report generation and data sharing. This paper covers development of low cost compact MMDAS (modular meteorological data acquisition system), its performance evaluation, field deployment test and data comparison analysis with fast response and high accuracy internationally acclaimed sonic anemometer. The system is based on embedded modules from Advantech and is designed to acquire analogue and digital signals from a multilevel instrumented met tower. The collected data are transferred from remote base station to central server for storage and further processing using wireless interface. MMDAS has many advantages like cost effectiveness, less complex signal conditioning electronics and easy maintenance. This system has good application during radiation emergency as well as site specific meteorological data collection and model validation studies. 展开更多

Initial gut microbiota structure affects sensitivity to DSS-induced colitis in a mouse model 被引量:9

The dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced colitis model is a widely applied mouse model, but controversial results have been obtained from experiments using the same mouse strain under the same conditions. Because the gut microbiota play an important role in DSS-induced colitis, it is essential to evaluate the influence of the initial gut microbiota in this model. Here, we identified significant variations in the initial gut microbiota of different batches of mice and found that the initial intestinal microbiota had a profound influence on DSS-induced colitis. We performed three independent trials using the same C57BL/6J mouse model with DSS treatment and used high-throughput 16S rRNA gene sequencing to analyze the gut microbiota. We found that the structure and composition of the gut microbiota in mice with severe colitis, as compared with mice with milder colon damage, had unique features, such as an increase in Akkermansia bacteria and a decrease in Barnesiella spp. Moreover, these varied gut bacteria in the different trials also showed different responses to DSS treatment. Our work suggests that, in studies using mouse models, the gut microbiota must be considered when examining mechanisms of diseases, to ensure that comparable results are obtained. 展开更多
