热轧温度对TC20合金坯料冷轧成形性的影响

研究了在1000,940,850℃不同温度热轧的TC20合金坯料在冷连轧过程中的变形与失稳情况,结合热轧棒材组织和室温压缩的实验结果,表明:热轧温度越低,冷轧成形性越差。850℃热轧的TC20合金棒坯纵向组织中α相呈连续纤维状,冷连轧成形性比较... 研究了在1000,940,850℃不同温度热轧的TC20合金坯料在冷连轧过程中的变形与失稳情况,结合热轧棒材组织和室温压缩的实验结果,表明:热轧温度越低,冷轧成形性越差。850℃热轧的TC20合金棒坯纵向组织中α相呈连续纤维状,冷连轧成形性比较差,极限变形量仅40%左右; 1000℃的热轧坯料组织中β相占比增加,冷连轧变形量可以达到60%,同时,其室温压缩实验过程中断裂压缩率高,塑性变形阶段加工硬化速率较小。通过室温压缩实验可直观评价TC20合金丝材的冷轧成形性能。 展开更多

目前,冷轧管机市场主要由两辊锥形辊型和三辊周向同圆辊型的冷轧管机构成。两辊锥形辊型冷轧机具有道次变形量大,产量高的特点,但其产品精度低;三辊周向同圆的辊型冷轧机具有轧制精度高的特点,但道次变形量小。因此,以传统两辊锥形辊型... 目前,冷轧管机市场主要由两辊锥形辊型和三辊周向同圆辊型的冷轧管机构成。两辊锥形辊型冷轧机具有道次变形量大,产量高的特点,但其产品精度低;三辊周向同圆的辊型冷轧机具有轧制精度高的特点,但道次变形量小。因此,以传统两辊锥形辊型设计方法为研究对象,结合三辊周向同圆的辊型断面设计方法,构建一种新型三辊皮尔格曲面构型设计方法,用于解决传统两辊锥形辊型冷轧机产品精度低的缺陷。借助有限元仿真软件,对两辊锥形辊型和新型三辊皮尔格曲面构型辊型轧制AZ31镁合金管材进行完整的仿真,通过对比圆整度、轧制力、三向应力、残余应力、回弹量等关键数据,得到新型三辊皮尔格曲面构型轧制出的管材全面优于两辊锥形辊型轧出的管材的结论。 展开更多

Three different stress states of the combination of tensile(t) stress and compressive(c) stress,t t,t c and t c c,exist in the deformed commercially pure titanium(CP-Ti) sheet during cold drawing-bulging.The textures and microstructures in the different stress state regions were investigated by means of XRD and TEM analysis.Similar development of texture and microstructure is achieved with less thickness strain under multiaxial stresses in drawing-bulging than in cold rolling.The results show that texture and microstructure are much sensitive to multiaxial stresses.Twinning is more easily activated under compressive stress than tensile stress.Prism a slip is heavily affected by tensile stress,resulting in a remarkable change of the intensity of(0°,35°,0°) texture,while pyramidal c+a slip,forming(20°,35°,30°) texture,weakens with the increase of thickness strain in spite of stress state. 展开更多

Two different kinds of experimental techniques were used to in-situ study the austenite formation during intercritical annealing in C-Mn dual phase steel. The microstructure evolution was observed by confocal laser scanning microscope, and the austenite isothermal and non-isothermal transformation kinetics were studied by dilatometry. The results indicate that banded structure is produced for the reason of composition segregation and the competition between recrystallization and phase transformation. Austenite prefers to nucleate not only at ferrite/ferrite grain boundaries, but also inside the grains of ferrite.Furthermore, the austenitizing process is accomplished mainly via migration of the existing austenite/ferrite interface rather than nucleation of new grains. The incubation process can be divided into two stages which are controlled by carbon and manganese diffusion, respectively. During the incubation process, the nucleation rate of austenite decreases, and austenite growth changes from two-dimensional to one-dimensional. The partitioning coefficient, defined as the ratio of manganese content in the austenite to that in the adjacent ferrite, increases with increasing soaking time. 展开更多

In terms of tandem cold mill productivity and product quality, a multi-objective optimization model of rolling schedule based on cost fimction was proposed to determine the stand reductions, inter-stand tensions and rolling speeds for a specified product. The proposed schedule optimization model consists of several single cost fi.mctions, which take rolling force, motor power, inter-stand tension and stand reduction into consideration. The cost function, which can evaluate how far the rolling parameters are from the ideal values, was minimized using the Nelder-Mead simplex method. The proposed rolling schedule optimization method has been applied successfully to the 5-stand tandem cold mill in Tangsteel, and the results from a case study show that the proposed method is superior to those based on empirical formulae. 展开更多

In order to meet the severe requirements of market and reduce production costs of high quality steels,advanced run-out table cooling based on ultra fast cooling(UFC) and laminar cooling(LC) was proposed and applied to industrial production.Cooling mechanism of UFC and LC was introduced first,and then the control system and control models were described.By using UFC and LC,low-cost Q345B strips had been produced in a large scale,and industrial trials of producing low-cost dual phase strips were completed successfully.Application results show that the ultra fast cooling is uniform along the strip width and length,and does not affect the flatness of strips.The run-out table cooling system runs stably with a high precision,and makes it possible for the user to develop more high quality steels with low costs. 展开更多

A new model,called object model,for the simulation of cold roll-forming of tubes is presented.The model inherits the advantages of old models and is the embodiment of forming process that the strip is rolled step by step from feed rollers to last rolling pass.The elastic-plastic large deformation spline finite strip method based on updated Lagrangian method has been developed by improving the stiffness and transition matrix.Combined theory formulas and new analytical model,the forming process of a tube has been simulated successfully as an example.The analytical results are submitted and indicate that the proposed simulation method and new model are applicable. 展开更多
