This myst...The Linjiang Gorge is a little known scenic spot shrouded in mystery.It is located near Linjiang Village, Tongjiang County, on the border between Sichuan and Shanxi provinces to the south of Micang Mountain. This mysterious gorge looks rather like a great tree with its branches. The gorge is 5 kilometres long and the width varies from 5 to 25 meters. From the entrance in the upper reaches to the north end there is a 130 meter fall. The gorge floor is 700 meters above sea levcl, while the west bank is 1, 500 meters above sea level. Both sides of the gorge are vertical with height ranging from 50 to 150 meters. The vegetation is well protected,and there are abundant water resources; the result is an exceptionaI ecological system. Visiting there, one is deeply impressed by the natural beauty of the wilderness. There has been little human interference or pollution.展开更多
