As a pivotal force in international communication, the cultivation of university students specializing in foreign languages and their aspirations to pursue overseas education have garnered significant attention. This article primarily utilizes quantitative research methodologies to delve into the factors that influence the willingness of college students to study abroad, particularly in the context of building international communication capabilities. The study reveals that family background, personal endowments, cultural exchange and international communication dynamics all contribute to the motivation of foreign language majors to pursue overseas studies, with personal academic achievements, familial financial support, cross-cultural communication skills, and international communication awareness emerging as the most influential factors. The findings of this research provide valuable insights into the underlying motivations behind students’ decisions to study abroad, enabling universities to refine their training programs for foreign language majors and further enhance the efficacy of international communication.展开更多
