The comprehensive measure model for urban traffic congestion based on value function 被引量:1

According to the distribution characteristics of traffic congestion in time and space, a measure index system of urban traffic congestion is set up based on the spatial and temporal distribution. Based on the analysis of the main characteristics of traffic congestion and the generation process of traffic congestion, the measure model for urban traffic congestion is constructed by the value function. Moreover, based on the measure values of traffic congestion in urban road networks with defined different levels, a method to prevent and control traffic congestion is designed. The application results confirm that the proposed method is feasible in comprehensive measures for urban traffic congestion and they are consistent with the results of other methods. The measuring results can therefore reflect the actual situation. The comprehensive measure model is scientific and the process is simple, and it has wide application prospects and practical value. 展开更多

A new way based on a modified bubble function and stationary wavelet transform(SWT) is proposed to solve the problem that the conventional edge detection algorithms are sensitive to the noises.Firstly,the traditional bubble function is modified in order to get different time-frequency domain responses and to get filtering effects through adjusting the parameters. Secondly, the modified bubble function is combined with SWT to construct a multiresolution network. By using the modified bubble function to enhance the edges and by using SWT to reduce the noises, the edges can be extracted accurately,effectively and quickly with lower noise.Finally, the experimental results of the proposed edge detection algorithm are verified to be better than that with the traditional bubble function. 展开更多

We propose a way to measure the strength of quantum nonlocal correlation (QNC) based on the characteristic function, which is defined as a response function under the local quantum measurement in a composite system. It is found that the strength of QNC based on the characteristic function is a half-positive-definite function and does not change under any LU operation. Generally, we give a new definition for quantum entanglement using the strength function. Furthermore, we also give a separability-criterion for 2×m-dimensional mixed real matrix. This paper proposes an alternative way for QNC further research. 展开更多

Chemical vapor deposition (CVD)-grown single-layered poly... The work function (WF) of graphene is an essential parameter in graphene electronics. We have derived the WF of graphene by the thermionic emission method. Chemical vapor deposition (CVD)-grown single-layered polycrystalline graphene on copper foil is transferred to a cross-stacked carbon nanotube (CNT) film drawn from a super-aligned multiwalled CNT array. By decreasing the pore size of the CNT film, the as-prepared CNT-graphene film (CGF) can be Joule heated to a temperature as high as 1,800 K in vacuum without obvious destruction in the graphene structure. By studying the thermionic emission, we derive the WF of graphene, ranging from 4.7 to 4.8 eV with the average value being 4.74 eV. Because the substrate influence can be minimized by virtue of the porous nature of the CNT film and the influence of adsorbents can be excluded due to the high temperature during the thermionic emission, the measured WF of graphene can be regarded as intrinsic. 展开更多

The purpose of this paper is to solve the problem of determining the limits of multivariate rational functions.It is essential to decide whether or not limxˉ→0f g=0 for two non-zero polynomials f,g∈R[x1,...,xn]with f(0,...,0)=g(0,...,0)=0.For two such polynomials f and g,we establish two necessary and sufcient conditions for the rational functionf g to have its limit 0 at the origin.Based on these theoretic results,we present an algorithm for deciding whether or not lim(x1,...,xn)→(0,...,0)f g=0,where f,g∈R[x1,...,xn]are two non-zero polynomials.The design of our algorithm involves two existing algorithms:one for computing the rational univariate representations of a complete chain of polynomials,another for catching strictly critical points in a real algebraic variety.The two algorithms are based on the well-known Wu’s method.With the aid of the computer algebraic system Maple,our algorithm has been made into a general program.In the final section of this paper,several examples are given to illustrate the efectiveness of our algorithm. 展开更多
