The approach uses an indirect coordination mechanism, called pheromone, which comes from the collective behavior of ant colonies for food foraging. Therefore it can automat- ically find efficient manufacturing cells for processing tasks and reduce communication overhead, which exists in the contract net protocol. Experimental results confirm that the approach has excellent stability and optimization ability for task allocation problems in a static environment.展开更多

Based o...To overcome the problems in design methodologies and construction control measures for the large open caisson, systematic research was conducted on the side friction calculation mode of the large open caisson. Based on the field monitoring data of lateral soil pressure on the side wall of the open caisson for the southern anchorage of the Maanshan Yangtze River Highway Bridge, the statistical result of the side friction under different buried depths of the cutting edge of the open caisson was back-analyzed; and the side friction distribution of the large open caisson was underlined. The analysis results indicate that when the buried depth of the cutting edge is smaller than a certain depth H0, the side friction linearly increases with the increase in the buffed depth. However, as the buffed depth of the cutting edge is larger than H0, the side friction shows a distribution with small at both ends and large in the middle. The top of the distribution can be regarded as a linear curve, while the bottom as a hyperbolic curve. As the buffed depth of cutting edge increases continuously, the peak value of the side friction linearly increases and the location of the peak value gradually moves down. Based on the aforementioned conclusions, a revised calculation mode of the large open caisson is presented. Then, the calculated results are compared with the field monitoring data, which verifies the feasibility of the proposed revised calculation mode.展开更多

Firstly,the data sets of multi-measurements of the same ESG in different noise environments are "mapped" into a sensor network,and DKF with embedded consensus filters is then used to preprocess the data sets. After transforming the preprocessed results into the trained input and the desired output of neural network,BPNN with the learning rate and the momentum term is further utilized to identify the ESG bias. As demonstrated in the experiment,the proposed approach is effective for the model identification of the ESG bias.展开更多

Based on the random utility maximum theory, the NL model is form...The effects of socio-demographics, land use characteristics and trip attributes on the commute mode choice are studied with a nested logit (NL) model. Based on the random utility maximum theory, the NL model is formulated. The analysis is carried out in the main area of Nanjing. Direct and cross elasticities are calculated to analyze the effects of travel time and travel cost on the selection of travel mode choice. The results reveal that the non-motorized travel modes are more attractive in the areas with higher housing and employment accessibility and car owners are found to be more likely to commute to work by car. The bus and subway choice probabilities are more sensitive to changes in travel times than to changes in travel costs. In conclusion, a comprehensive public transit system and effective integration of land use and transportation policies help to relieve the traffic congestion levels caused by the increasing urban sprawl.展开更多

ACA is a parallelized bionic optimization algorithm inspired from the behavior of real ants, and a kind of positive feedback mechanism is adopted in ACA. On the basis of brief introduction of LuGre friction model, a method for identifying the static LuGre friction parameters and the dynamic LuGre friction parameters using ACA is derived. Finally, this new friction parameter identification scheme is applied to a electric-driven flight simulation servo system with high precision. A distributed samplingmask measurement model isintroduced to tackle the difficulty of measuring the full trace of high-speed networks. The keypoint of the model is to choose some bits that are suitable to be sampling mask. In the paper, thebit entropy and bit flow entropy of IP packet headers in CERNET backbone are analyzed, and we findthat the 16 bits of identification field in IP packet header are fit to the matching field ofsampling mask. Measurement traffic also can be used to analyze the statistical character ofmeasurement sample and the randomicity of the model. Applying function approximation and model order-reduction to the model, we derive a closed-form and time-domain waveform for the far-end crosstalk of a victim line under ramp input transition. For various interconnect coupling sizes, the proposed RLC coupling analytical model enables the estimation of the crosstalk voltage within 2.50% error compared with Hspice simulation in a 65nm CMOS process. Under the constraints of land shortage, how to allocate the finite land resources to the multiple land users in China co...Land scarcity has become the prominent obstacle on the way to sustainable development for China. Under the constraints of land shortage, how to allocate the finite land resources to the multiple land users in China considering various political, environmental, ecological and economic conditions have become research topics with great significance. In this study, an interval fuzzy national-scale land-use model(IFNLM) was developed for optimizing land systems of China. IFNLM is based on an integration of existing interval linear programming(ILP), and fuzzy flexible programming(FFP) techniques. IFNLM allows uncertainties expressed as discrete interval values and fuzzy sets to be incorporated within a general optimization framework. It can also facilitate national-scale land-use planning under various environmental, ecological, social conditions within a multi-period and multi-option context. Then, IFNLM was applied to a real case study of land-use planning in China. The satisfaction degree of environmental constraints is between 0.69 and 0.97, the system benefit will between 198.25 × 1012 USD and 229.67 × 1012 USD. The results indicated that the hybrid model can help generate desired policies for land-use allocation with a maximized economic benefit and minimized environmental violation risk. Optimized land-use allocation patterns can be generated from the proposed IFNLM.展开更多
