Role based access control is one of the widely used access control models.There are investigations in the literature that use knowledge representation mechanisms such as formal concept analysis(FCA),description logics,and Ontology for representing access control mechanism.However,while using FCA,investigations reported in the literature so far work on the logic that transforms the three dimensional access control matrix into dyadic formal contexts.This transformation is mainly to derive the formal concepts,lattice structure and implications to represent role hierarchy and constraints of RBAC.In this work,we propose a methodology that models RBAC using triadic FCA without transforming the triadic access control matrix into dyadic formal contexts.Our discussion is on two lines of inquiry.We present how triadic FCA can provide a suitable representation of RBAC policy and we demonstrate how this representation follows role hierarchy and constraints of RBAC on sample healthcare network available in the literature. 展开更多

Automatically Constructing an Effective Domain Ontology for Document Classification 被引量:2

Finally, the ontology is acted as the... An effective domain ontology automatically constructed is proposed in this paper. The main concept is using the Formal Concept Analysis to automatically establish domain ontology. Finally, the ontology is acted as the base for the Naive Bayes classifier to approve the effectiveness of the domain ontology for document classification. The 1752 documents divided into 10 categories are used to assess the effectiveness of the ontology, where 1252 and 500 documents are the training and testing documents, respectively. The Fl-measure is as the assessment criteria and the following three results are obtained. The average recall of Naive Bayes classifier is 0.94. Therefore, in recall, the performance of Naive Bayes classifier is excellent based on the automatically constructed ontology. The average precision of Naive Bayes classifier is 0.81. Therefore, in precision, the performance of Naive Bayes classifier is gored based on the automatically constructed ontology. The average Fl-measure for 10 categories by Naive Bayes classifier is 0.86. Therefore, the performance of Naive Bayes classifier is effective based on the automatically constructed ontology in the point of F 1-measure. Thus, the domain ontology automatically constructed could indeed be acted as the document categories to reach the effectiveness for document classification. 展开更多

Formal concept analysis (FCA) is a discipline that studied the hierarchical structures induced by a binary relation between a pair of sets, and applies in data analysis, information retrieval, knowledge discovery, etc. In this paper, it is shown that a formal context T is equivalent to a set-valued mapping S : G → P(М), and formal concepts could be defined in the set-valued mapping S. It is known that the topology and set-valued mapping are linked. Hence, the advantage of this paper is that the conclusion make us to construct formal concept lattice based on the topology. 展开更多

In order to address the study of complex systems,the detection of patterns in their dynamics could play a key role in understanding their evolution.In particular,global patterns are required to detect emergent concepts and trends,some of them of a qualitative nature.Formal concept analysis(FCA) is a theory whose goal is to discover and extract knowledge from qualitative data(organized in concept lattices).In complex environments,such as sport competitions,the large amount of information currently available turns concept lattices into complex networks.The authors analyze how to apply FCA reasoning in order to increase confidence in sports predictions by means of detecting regularities from data through the management of intuitive and natural attributes extracted from publicly available information.The complexity of concept lattices-considered as networks with complex topological structure- is analyzed.It is applied to building a knowledge based system for confidence-based reasoning,which simulates how humans tend to avoid the complexity of concept networks by means of bounded reasoning skills. 展开更多

Drawing upon a concept developed by Fei Xiaotong, this article offers a preliminary theory for conceptualizing the regulation of criminal acts in imperial China. Centred upon the concept of a "differential mode of criminalization," this article argues that the Confucianization of law in traditional China emphasized without ambiguity the implications of the closeness/remoteness in human rela- tionships-the measure of distance conditioned upon the two main loci in everyday life, namely blood and non-blood relationships. This differential mode of criminalization fits into the Confucian imagery of a harmonious society. 展开更多
