In order to decrease the calculation complexity of connectivity reliability of road networks, an improved recursive decomposition arithmetic is proposed. First, the basic theory of recursive decomposition arithmetic is reviewed. Then the characteristics of road networks, which are different from general networks, are analyzed. Under this condition, an improved recursive decomposition arithmetic is put forward which fits road networks better. Furthermore, detailed calculation steps are presented which are convenient for the computer, and the advantage of the approximate arithmetic is analyzed based on this improved arithmetic. This improved recursive decomposition arithmetic directly produces disjoint minipaths and avoids the non-polynomial increasing problems. And because the characteristics of road networks are considered, this arithmetic is greatly simplified. Finally, an example is given to prove its validity. 展开更多

Inference of Reference Conditions for Nutrient Concentrations of Chaohu Lake Based on Model Extrapolation

In the mid-eastern China,there are few or no lakes which are in the absence of anthropogenic disturbances,or their sediments remain undisturbed.As a result,the reference lakes distribution and paleolimnological reconstruction approaches usually are inappropriate to estimate lake reference conditions for nutrients.This yields the necessity of using the extrapolation methods to estimate the lake reference conditions for nutrients within those regions.The lake reference conditions for nutrients could be inferred inversely from the law of mass conservation,current lake nutrient concentration,and the loadings from watershed.Considering the scarcity of hydrological and water quality data associated with lakes and watersheds in China,as well as the low requirement of the watershed nutrient loadings models for these data,the soil conservation service(SCS) distributed hydrological model and the universal soil loss equation(USLE) were applied.The SCS model simulates the runoff process of the watershed,thereby calculating dissolved nutrients annually.The USLE estimates the soil erosion and particulate nutrients annually in a watershed.Then,with the loadings from atmospheric deposition and point source,the previous annual average nutrient concentrations could be acquired given the current nutrient concentrations in a lake.Therefore,the nutrient reference conditions minimally impacted by human activities could be estimated.Based on the proposed model,the reference conditions for total nitrogen and total phosphorus of Chaohu Lake,Anhui Province,China are 0.031 mg/L and 0.640 mg/L,respectively.The proposed reference conditions estimation model is of clear physical concept,and less data required.Thus,the proposed approach can be used in other lakes with similar circumstances. 展开更多

With the objective to investigate the structure-reactivity relationship of CuO/SnO2 and eventually design more applicable catalysts for soot combustion,catalysts with different CuO loadings have been prepared by impregnation method.By using X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy extrapolation methods,it is disclosed that CuO disperses finely on the SnO2 support to form a monolayer with a capacity of 2.09 mmol 100 m^-2,which equals 4.8 wt%CuO loading.When the CuO loading is below the capacity,it is in a sub-monolayer state.However,when the loading is above the capacity,CuO micro-crystallites will be formed that coexist with the CuO monolayer.The soot combustion activity of the catalyst increases with the CuO loading until it reaches the monolayer dispersion capacity.A further increase in the CuO loading has no evident influence on the activity.Raman results have testified that with the addition of CuO onto the SnO2 support,a surface-active oxygen species can be formed,the amount of which also increases significantly with the increase in the CuO loading until it reaches the monolayer dispersion capacity.Increasing the CuO loading further has no evident impact on the amount of surface oxygen.Therefore,an apparent monolayer dispersion threshold effect is observed for soot combustion over CuO/SnO2 catalysts.It is concluded that the amount of surface-active oxygen sites is the major factor determining the activity of the catalyst. 展开更多

Fully normalized associated Legendre functions(fnALFs)are a set of orthogonal basis functions that are usually calculated by using the recurrence equation.This paper presented the applicability and universality of the standard forward column/row recurrence equation based on the isolated singular factor method and extended-range arithmetic.Isolating a singular factor is a special normalization method that can improve the universality of the standard forward row recurrence equation to a certain extent,its universality can up to degree hundreds.However,it is invalid for standard forward column recurrence equation.The extended-range arithmetic expands the double-precision number field to the quad-precision numberfield.The quad-precision numberfield can retain more significant digits in the operation process and express larger and smaller numbers.The extended-range arithmetic can significantly improve the applicability and universality of the standard forward column/row recurrence equations,its universality can up to degree several thousand.However,the quad-precision numberfield operation needs to occupy more storage space,which is why its operation speed is slow and undesirable in practical applications.In this paper,the X-number method is introduced in the standard forward row recurrence equation for thefirst time.With the use of the X-number method,fnALFs can be recursed to 4.2 billion degree by using standard forward column/row recurrence equations. 展开更多

Based on the main part of the asymptotic expansion, a series is constructed to approach the singular point. An extrapolation algorithm is presented and the convergence rate is proved. For the scheme of 80 GHz optical millimeter-wave(mm-wave) generation using two cascaded Mach-Zehnder modulators(MZMs),an exact analytical solution for the optical mm-wave affected by phase shift drift and splitting ratio is derived with the method of expanding Bessel series.The results show that for the carrier and the fourth-order sideband,the influence caused by phase shift drift is dominant,while the first-order,the second-order and the third-order sidebands are influenced by both phase shift drift and splitting ratio.It follows that the undesired sideband suppression ratio is at least 35.9 dB when the splitting ratio deviation is 0.001,and the phase shift drift is 1o.The performance of the system is perfect if the accuracy is achieved. 展开更多

Methods: The three major Chinese databases, Wanfang Academic Journal Full-text Database (Wanfang), Chongqing VIP Database (CQVIP) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), were searched to collect the studies of tuina man ipulati ons in treatment of LIDH published in rece nt 30 years. Clusteri ng an alysis was applied to an a lyze the top 20 tuina manipulati ons for LIDH. Results: The top 20 most frequently used manipulations for LIDH were Gun-rolling, Rou-kneading, Dian-digital pressing, oblique Ban-pulli ng, An-pressi ng, Tan bo-plucki ng,*Bashe rvpulli ng and exte nding, horiz on tai Tui-pushi ng, Na-graspi ng, Anrou-pressing and kneading, Dou-shaking, Yao-rocking, Ca-scrubbing, Pai-patting, post-extension Ban-pulling, Mo-rubbing, Zhen-vibrating, Nie-pinching, fist-back Ji-tapping, and dorsal Shen-extending methods. The involved manipulations can be divided into two categories by the treated body areas. One category is applied to the soft tissues, including Gun-rolling, Rou-k neading, Dian-digital pressi ng, An-pressi ng, Tan bo-plucking, horiz ontal Tui-pushi ng, Na-graspi ng, An rou-pressi ng and kneading, Ca-scrubbing, Pai-patting, Mo-rubbing, Zhervvibrating, Nie-pinching, and fist-back Ji-tapping methods. The other category is applied to bones and joints, including oblique Ban-pulling, Bashen-pulling and extending, Dou-shaking, Yao-rocking, post-extension Ban-pulling, and dorsal Shen-extending methods. Conclusion: Based on the treated body area, the tuina manipulations applied to treat LIDH are predominated by the ones performed on soft tissues, assisted by those on bones and joints. From the way of force exertion, the involved manipulations are majorly the swinging methods, followed by squeezing and pressing ones. Based on these global estimates the conjugate gradient method (CG) is effective, which is applied to extrapolation cascadic multigrid method (EXCMG). When the liquid propellant thruster works,its plume field would contain many propellant liquid droplets,especially at pulse state.Liquid droplets may move along with the gas flow and deposit on the components of spacecraft as contamination.The simulation of the plume field involving the gas molecules and liquid droplets is an important part in contamination studies of thruster plume.Based on the PWS software developed by Beihang University(BUAA),axial-symmetric two-phase direct simulation Monte Carlo(DSMC) method is used with the liquid droplet taken as a kind of solid particle.The computation of gas-to-particle effect and gas reflection on the particle surface are decoupled.The inter-particle collision is also considered.The gas parameters at nozzle exit of 120N engine after 20 ms pulse work are taken as the entrance condition of the numerical simulation.Four test cases are conducted for comparison of different collision modules.Simulation results show that the effects of liquid propellant droplets mainly concentrate near the axis line of engine.The particle-to-gas collision would cause evident differences in the gas field and subtle differences in the particle phase.The liquid droplets in the plume field are generally accelerated and convected by the gas molecules.The DSMC method is proved to be a feasible solver to numerically simulate the two-phase flow involving solid phase and rarefied gas flow. 展开更多

Based on this result, an inference method is presented, and the Nonlinear Dependence Coefficient is defined.
