Five species of Aphytis are recognized, including one new species (Aphytis albus sp. nov.) and four new records (A. diaspidis, A. japonicus, A. proclia and A. vandenboschi). A key to the female species of Aphytis from South Korea is provided. The type specimens are respectively deposited in Korea National Arboretum and the Insect Collection of Northeast Forestry University, Harbin, China.展开更多

As a by-product, the one-dimensional normal distribution in statistics can be explained as a Radon transform of two-dimensional Gaussian function.展开更多

In this work we used the time-tagged time-resolved (TTTR) mode to record the fluorescent photons from single QDs. We showed that this method is compatible with the traditional lifetime analysis. In addition, by constructing the trajectory over time and the distribution of average arrival time (AAT) of the fluorescent photons, inore details about the emission behavior of QDs were revealed.展开更多

Re-sampling is required to convert the unevenly sampled RRI series into evenly sampled time series when using the widely accepted smoothness priors approach(SPA). Noise is introduced in this process and the information quality is thus compromised. Empirical mode decomposition(EMD) and its variants, were introduced to directly process the unevenly sampled RRI series. Besides, a RR interval model was proposed to fascinate the introduction of standard metrics for the evaluation of the detrending performance. Based on standard metrics including signal-to-noise-ratio in d B(ISNR), mean square error(EMS), and percent root square difference(DPRS), the effectiveness of detrending methods in RR interval analysis were determined. Results demonstrate that complementary ensemble EMD(CEEMD, a variant of EMD) based method has a higher ISNR, a lower EMS and a lower DPRS as well as a better RRI series detrending performance compared with the SPA method, which would in turn lead to a more accurate HRV analysis.展开更多

We propose an algorithm to quantify the theory of correlations and to give an intuitive, more accurate correlation coefficient. We propose a predictive metric to calculate correlations between paired values, known as the general rank-based correlation coefficient. It fulfills the five basic criteria of a predictive metric: independence from sample size, value between-1 and 1, measuring the degree of monotonicity, insensitivity to outliers, and intuitive demonstration.Furthermore, the metric has been validated by performing experiments using a real-time dataset and random number simulations. Mathematical derivations of the proposed equations have also been provided. We have compared it to Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The comparison results show that the proposed metric fares better than the existing metric on all the predictive metric criteria.展开更多

The past management largely based on American Association for Surgery of Trauma (AAST) grading system, i.e. necessitated a computed tomography (CT) scan. Although the CT scan use is increasing and becomes the standardized mode of investigation, AAST grading no longer plays the sole role in the decision of surgical interventions. Two case reports of blunt renal trauma managed successfully by conservative methods are presented. Case one was an 18 year-old boy who had a fall when riding a motorbike at 20 km/h with a helmet and full protective equipments. He was landed by his left flank onto a rock. Contrast abdominal CT revealed a 4 era, grade III splenic tear and a grade IV left kidney injury with large perirenal haematoma. His international severity score (ISS) was 34. He was managed conservatively with bed rest and frequent serum haemoglobin monitoring. Subsequent CT with delayed contrast revealed stable perirenal haematoma with urine extravasation which was consistent with a grade IV renal injury. Case two was a 40 year-old male who had a motor bike accident on a racetrack when he was driving at 80 to 100 km/h, wearing a helmet. He lost control and hit onto the sidewall of the racetrack. Contrast abdominal CT revealed a grade IV left renal injury with a large urine extravasation. His renal injury was managed conservatively with interval delayed phase CT of the abdomen. A repeat CT on abdomen was performed five months after the initial injury which revealed no residual urinoma. In this study, moreover, a review of the literature to the management of blunt renal trauma was conducted to demonstrate the trend of increasing conservative management of such traumas. Extra radiological parameters may guide future decision making. However, the applicability of data may be limited until randomized trials are available.展开更多

文摘The present paper deals with the systematic study on the genus Aphytis Howard from South Korea. Five species of Aphytis are recognized, including one new species (Aphytis albus sp. nov.) and four new records (A. diaspidis, A. japonicus, A. proclia and A. vandenboschi). A key to the female species of Aphytis from South Korea is provided. 文摘We introduce bivariate normal distribution operator for state vector [ψ) and find that its marginal distribution leads to one-dimensional normal distribution corresponding to the measurement probability |λ,v〈x|.ψ〉|^2, where |x〉λ,v is the coordinate-momentum intermediate representation. As a by-product, the one-dimensional normal distribution in statistics can be explained as a Radon transform of two-dimensional Gaussian function.
