A CFD based numerical simulation of flow velocity of hydrocyclone was conducted with different structural and operational parameters to investigate its distribution characteristics and influencing mechanism. The results show there exist several unsymmetrical envelopes of equal vertical velocities in both upward inner flows and downward outer flows in the hydrocyclone, and the cone angle and apex diameter have remarkable influence on the vertical location of the cone bottom of the envelope of zero vertical velocity. It is also found that the tangential velocity isolines exist in the horizontal planes located in the effective separation region of hydrocyclone. The increase of feed pressure has almost no effect on the distribution characteristics of both vertical velocity and tangential velocity in hydrocyclone, but the magnitude and gradient of tangential velocity are increased obviously to make the motion velocity of high density particles to the wall increased and to make the cyclonic separation effect improved. 展开更多

Operability problem of dividing wall column (DWC) raised by vapor split was investigated by numerically analyzing four cases defined by different compositions of a three-component mixture. DWCs were firstly designed for each case by optimizing the vapor split to the two sides of the dividing wall, and then their feasibilities and total annual costs in operation were evaluated against different vapor split ratios. The analysis on the operability of the DWC for four cases was made based on two scenarios: (1) vapor split is shifted by the vapor resistance difference between the column sections in the two sides of the dividing wall and (2) the feed composition is changed. It was demonstrated that the positioning of the dividing wall and the decision on the vapor split may affect significantly the operability of a DWC. 展开更多

A series of operation processes of the key management are elaborated, including key distribution, key updating and key agreement, etc. Analysis shows that the scheme can solve the problem of large-scale key management and storage issues in cloud storage effectively. In this article, a new operation mode with MVBD is proposed for separation of binary mixtures under total reflux. A mathematic model is setup for the simulation. The proposed operation policy and the regular operation with constant reflux are compared theoretically and experimentally. In order to eliminate the fluctuations and reduce problems, taking start pump, connect pump test under pressure in the water injection station installed the rotor frequency control system Changqing oil field developed. During the experiment, by progressively increasing the pressure pump to verify start pump with pressure feasibility test, the result shows when the pressure in the 0-25MPa pressure start and connect pump can be realized, and forecast the maximum pressure of the current start of the station with pressure pump. Start pump with pressure achieve the elimination of pressure fluctuations, provide the prerequisites about realizeing stable water injection pressure, and ultimately realize oil field water injection station to be automatic water injection laid a foundation. 展开更多

Thermal processing of milk is an important unit operation to inactivate the spoilage organism and enzymes and thus increase the storage life of milk, It was very difficult to find out the temperature distribution inside the cans during thermal processing. A Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model was developed for thermization of milk in the can heating at 65℃ for the first time to determine the temperature distribution in the canned milk at stationary position. This developed CFD model was validated with the experimental measurements of temperature. The effects of thermization temperature on milk flow profile (velocity), milk temperature and viscosity profiles inside the can during thermal process were investigated. Temperature profiles of milk in can at three different planes (i.e. top, middle and bottom plane) were studied. Moreover, thermization unit was calculated by correlating with temperature and it was found that maximum thermization unit was achieved at 540 s of thermal processing of milk in can. 展开更多
