The process was named as simultaneous cell disruption and aqueous two-phase extraction (SDATE). Advantages, such as high cell disruption efficiency, biochemical activities preservation of proteins, cell debris elimination, and prelimiary purification of the target protein were being claimed. When this technique was employed for isolating recombinant Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) from E. coli, overall protein concentration and TNF activity were found to have been increased. More than 95% of TNF was partitioned into the top phase and all cell debris were in the bottom phase. The partition coefficient was greater than 3 and the TNF purification factor was greater than 6. It is shown that less separation steps were being utilized in the new technique, meaning a reduction in separation time and less process extractors required.展开更多

Within these groups, and with pre-separation, individual utilization of all coal components can be realized, similar to petroleum components and enhance the inherent value and utilization value of coal, as well as increase environmental benefits. The characteristics of each component were analyzed with measurements by FTIR, GC/MS, TEM and the establishment of caking properties. The results show that coal can be separated into residues, ultra-pure coal, asphaltene components and light components by adding solvents for stripping into the CS2/NMP mixed extraction solution. Those four groups of components present great differences in the presence of carbon and hydrogen elements, in the structure of functional groups, in their macroscopic structure and micro-morphology and caking properties. Every component possesses its own inherent values and approaches. A new idea of coal processes and utilization, similar to the use of petroleum is proposed.展开更多

Two plant species of this family were collected from the Egyptian desert, extracted with methanol subjected to silica gel column chromatography to give six compounds, three compounds from each plant. The compounds isolated from the methanol extract of Euphorbia retusa Forssk were identified as kaempferol-3-beta-D glucopyranosyl (1), 3-O-alpha-L-xylopyranosyl (1→3)-alpha-L xylopyranosyl (1→2), beta-D glucopyranosyllup 1,12-diene-3,21-diol (2) and 5,7,8,3',4'-pentahydroxy-3-methoxyflavone (3) and the compounds isolated from Euphorbia paralais L. identified as 3,5,3'-trihydroxy-6,7-d-methoxy-4' (7"-hydroxygeranyl-1"-ether) flavones (4), 3-O-syringic acid (1→4)-alpha-L- xylopyranosyl (1→3), beta-D-rahminopyranosyl hederagenin (5) and 3-O-syringic acid (1→4), beta-D-rahminopyranosyl (1→3),beta-D-rahminopyranosyl hederagenin (6). The structure of the isolated compounds was elucidated by chemical and spectrometric analysis such as Infera red (IR), proton and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-, 13C-NMR) and chemical ionization mass spectrometry (CI-MS).展开更多

The acearylene fractions including acenaphthylene, aceanthrylene and cyclopentapyrene were enriched together and named E, which was then transferred to a car- tridge in Isolera-One flash chromatography. Three groups of compounds were eluted out with ethyl acetate/PE mixed solvent (volume ratio 1:9) and named E1, E2 and E3 according to their main components. Acenaphthylene accounted for 78.2% in El, aceanthrylene 71.6% in E2 and cyclopentapyrene 75.9% in E3, respectively. The three groups of acearylenes were purified by Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography with ethanol/cyclohexane mixed solvent (vol- ume ratio 1:4), and then confirmed with nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer. This method indicates that flash chromatography has a good effect on separating the compounds with a similar structnre after extraction under ultrasonic irradiation.展开更多

The treated wastewater can meet the primary standard of The People's Republic of China based on sewage discharge standards and the wastewater treatment project design contract (GBl8596-2001), and the effluent will be used as irrigation-water. We introduce this project including the quality of influent and effluent and the flow scheme, the statement of every part, the investment and the effect, etc. The operation indicated that this process has many merits such as the stability in operation-effect and the convenience in management. So it will provide some help for the similar wastewater treatment.展开更多
