为在信号滤波领域发挥离散余弦变换(DCT)潜在的优良特性,提出离散余弦列率滤波的时域卷积算法,引入一种新型的线性相位数字滤波器——离散余弦列率滤波器(DCSF),导出了任意长度一维和二维DCSF的设计公式,讨论了这种... 为在信号滤波领域发挥离散余弦变换(DCT)潜在的优良特性,提出离散余弦列率滤波的时域卷积算法,引入一种新型的线性相位数字滤波器——离散余弦列率滤波器(DCSF),导出了任意长度一维和二维DCSF的设计公式,讨论了这种滤波器在广义标量维纳滤波和倍频程子带滤波中的应用.实验结果表明,DCSF可实现无波形失真的良好滤波效果.DCSF滤波算法简单,其计算量(乘法和加法)仅为采用快速DCT(FCT)算法的1/4.由DCSF的概念演绎出一种设计线性相位数字滤波器的基于列率分析的新方法,它比通常基于离散傅立叶变换(DFT)的设计方法更简洁和直观,在数字滤波、数据压缩和特征选择等数字信号处理领域有广阔的应用前景. 展开更多

提出了一种子带编码的新方法.该方法利用二维全相位离散反余弦列率滤波器(APDCSF)对图像进行子带分解;对于低频子带图像采用直接斜交多重亚采样和基于全相位离散反余弦列率滤波器(APDICSF)的多重旋转内插恢复,而对高频子带图像利用直方... 提出了一种子带编码的新方法.该方法利用二维全相位离散反余弦列率滤波器(APDCSF)对图像进行子带分解;对于低频子带图像采用直接斜交多重亚采样和基于全相位离散反余弦列率滤波器(APDICSF)的多重旋转内插恢复,而对高频子带图像利用直方图自动阈值化提取如边缘和线等特征的图像元;根据各个子带的图像元的特征分别进行编码压缩,解压缩后利用凸集投影重建原始图像.该方法消除了传统的离散余弦变换(DCT)编码的方块化效应,与基于小波变换的子带特征编码方法相比,计算复杂度小,压缩率高,主观视觉性能好,对于灰阶图像可达到0.1~0.3 bpp,特别适用于低比特率图像压缩. 展开更多

For the incomplete theory of the array confocal system,the more accurate theoretical model is built, and the new type of three-zone amplitude pupil filter is presented to improve the 3D detecting ability of the array confocal system.The 3D imaging equation based on Kirchhoff’s diffraction theory in the paper is more accurate,compared with the exciting theory,and it can describe the system imaging process more exactly.Using the evaluation criterion of 3D superresolution,the parameter of the filter pupil is optimized.It can reduce the axial and transversal FWHM of every detecting channel.The results of computer simulation and experiment prove that the filter can improve the axial and transversal resolution at the same time,which can increase the 3D measure capability. 展开更多

Smoothing Non-Stationary Time Series Using the Discrete Cosine Transform

This paper considers the problem of smoothing a non-stationary time series(having either deterministic and/or stochastic trends) using the discrete cosine transform(DCT).The DCT is a powerful tool which has found fruitful applications in filtering and smoothing as it can closely approximate the optimal Karhunen-Loeve transform(KLT).In fact,it is known that it almost corresponds to the KLT for first-order autoregressive processes with a root close to unity:This is the case with most economic and financial time series.A number of new results are derived in the paper:(a) The explicit form of the linear smoother based on the DCT,which is found to have time-varying weights and that uses all observations;(b) the extrapolation of the DCT-smoothed series;(c) the form of the average frequency response function,which is shown to approximate the frequency response of the ideal low pass filter;(d) the asymptotic distribution of the DCT coefficients under the assumptions of deterministic or stochastic trends;(e) two news method for selecting an appropriate degree of smoothing,in general and under the assumptions in(d).These findings are applied and illustrated using several real world economic and financial time series.The results indicate that the DCT-based smoother that is proposed can find many useful applications in economic and financial time series. 展开更多
