The NH(a1△) products were measured via (2+1) resonance enhanced multiphoton ionization. Images have been accumulated for the NH(a1△) rotational states in the ground and vibrational excited state (v=0 and 1). The center-of-mass translational energy distribution derived from the NH(a1△) images implies that the CO vibrational distributions are inverted for most of the measured 1NH(v|j) internal states. The anisotropic product angular distribution observed indicates a rapid dissociation process for the N-C bond cleavage. A bimodal rotational state distribution of CO(v) has been observed, this result implies that isocyanic acid dissociates in the S1 state in two different pathways.展开更多

The calculated lattice parameters, mean square displacements, and dynamic prop- erty of phonon-level density of the velocity auto-correlation functions for UO2 are provided. The Morelon potential and the Basak potential are employed. It confirms that the cal- culated lattice parameters using the Basak potential are in nearly perfect agreement with the reported values. The models successfully predict mean square displacement and Bredig transition. Furthermore, the phonon-level density of uranium dioxide are discussed. The intensity of phonon-level density increases with temperature, and the properties of UO2 are characterized by large thermal vibrations rather than extensive disorder.展开更多

Experiments on the running process were made at different speeds for healthy young men. The influence of running speed on knee Joint motion is analyzed quantitatively and a mathematical model of the knee angle is established with speed as the independent variable. Results show that, at the moment of the heel contacting with theground, with the increase of speed, the more, and the calf and thigh are closer to the same line. In the middle stage of a gait cycle, the thigh stretches back, and then the calf and thigh are close to collineation. At that moment, the stretch of the posterior cruciate ligament is the largest, and the slower the speed, the more obvious the collineation. The maximal joint angle of the calf relative to the thigh appears in the later stage, and themaximal joint angle increases with the increase of the velocity. With the increase of the running speed, the phase of the cure of knee angle moves forward. The results can be used in the field of rehabilitation robotics and humanoid robot.展开更多

The simulations were satisfactorily validated with experimental data in literature in terms of measured particle velocities in the tank.Influences of operating conditions and physical properties of particles(i.e., particle diameter and density) on the two-phase flow field in the stirred tank involving particle distribution, particle velocity and vortex were studied. The wide distribution of particle angular velocity ranging from 0 to 105r·min 1is revealed. The Magnus force is comparable to the drag force during the particle movement in the tank. The strong particle rotation will generate extra shear force on the particles so that the particle morphology may be affected, especially in the bio-/polymer-product related processes. It can be concluded that the CFD-DEM coupled approach provides a theoretical way to understand the physics of particle movement in micro- to macro-scales in the solid suspension of a stirred tank.展开更多

They can also be used for explosion, intrinsic, and fire safety. Every destructible material can be considered as either ductile or brittle in terms of its fracture mechanics. Thus, there is a need for a method to predict the efficiency of cutting with AWJs that is highly accurate irrespective of material. This problem can be solved using the energy conservation approach, which states the proportionality between the material removal volume and the kinetic energy of AWJs. This paper describes a method based on this approach, along with recommendations on reaching the most effective level of destruction. Recommendations are provided regarding rational ranges of values for the relation of abrasive flow rate to water flow rate, standoff distance, and size of abrasive particles. Two diflerent REMPI intermediate states (1F3 and 1P1) and several pump-probe laser polarization geometries are used to detect the angular momentum polarization of the photofragmented S(1D2). The molecular- frame polarization parameters, as well as the laboratory-frame anisotropy parameters, for individual rotational states of co-fragment CO, are determined using two diflerent full quantum theories. The measured total kinetic energy release spectrum from photodissociation of OCS indicates two dissociation channels, corresponding to the fast and slow recoiling velocities of S(1D2), respectively. The slow channel is concluded to originate from an initial photoexcitation to the A(1A') state, followed by a non-adiabatic transition to the ground state. The fast channel is found to follow a coherent excitation to A(1A') and B(1A') states, where contributions of the two states are almost equal at 217 nm. The determined alignment and anisotropy parameters further indicate that the slow channel follows an incoherent excitation, while the fast channel follows a coherent excitation to A(1A') and B(1A') states with a phase di erence of π/2.展开更多

The dynamic reduction method is introduced to eliminate the local vibration modes in order to obtain the whole ship's mode shapes. In the post-processor, a lot of accessorial methods are adopted to eliminate the local vibrations, so that the whole ship's mode shapes can be identified. The modal analysis indicates that the dynamic reduction method fits for mode shapes identifying. In the end,the test results of a catamaran named Frederick G. From these experimental data, the excess available volume, E a V , excess free volume, E f V , excess isothermal compressibility, E T β , excess thermal expansion coefficient, E α , and excess internal pressure, E i π , are calculated. The variation of these properties with composition and temperature are discussed in terms of molecular interactions between unlike molecules of the mixtures. It is found that the values of E a V , E f V , E T β and E α are positive and those of E i π are negative for all the mixtures at each temperature studied, indicating the presence of weak interactions between 2M2P and AN/PN/BN molecules. The variations of E a V , E f V , E T β , E α and E i π values with composition indicate that the interactions in these mixtures follow the order: AN<PN<BN, i.e., the 2M2P-nitrile interaction decreases with the increase of alkyl chain length in these nitrile molecules. In addition, the theoretical ultrasonic velocity is calculated using the scaled particle theory and compared with the experimental values.展开更多

文摘Background:Marginal changes in the execution of competitive sports movements can represent a significant change for performance success. However, such differences may emerge only at certain execution intensities and are not easily detectable through conventional biomechanical techniques. This study aimed to investigate if and how competition standard and progression speed affect race walking kinematics from both a conventional and a coordination variability perspective. Methods:Fifteen experienced athletes divided into three groups(elite, international, and national) were studied while race walking on a treadmill at two different speeds(12.0 and 15.5 km/h).Basic gait parameters, the angular displacement of the pelvis and lower limbs, and the variability in continuous relative phase between six different joint couplings were analyzed. Results:Most of the spatio-temporal,kinematic,and coordination variability measures proved sensitive to the change in speed.Conversely,non-linear dynamics measures highlighted differences between athletes of different competition standard when conventional analytical tools were not able to discriminate between different skill levels.Continuous relative phase variability was higher for national level athletes than international and elite in two couplings(pelvis obliquity—hip flex/extension and pelvis rotation—ankle dorsi/plantarflexion) and gait phases(early stance for the first coupling, propulsive phase for the second) that are deemed fundamental for correct technique and performance. Conclusion:Measures of coordination variability showed to be a more sensitive tool for the fine detection of skill-dependent factors in competitive race walking, and showed good potential for being integrated in the assessment and monitoring of sports motor abilities.
