Finding Dirac Spin Effect in NUT Spacetime

In the present study, we are interested in finding the spin precession of a Dirac particle in expanding and rotating NUT spaeetime. A tetrad with two functions to be determined is applied to the field equation of the teleparallel theory of gravity via a coordinate transformation. The vector, the axial-vector and the tensor parts of the torsion tensor are obtained. We found that the vector parts are in the radial and Ф-directions. The axial-vector torsion is along r-direction while its other components along θ and oh-directions vanish everywhere. The vector connected with Dirac spin has been evaluated as well. 展开更多

By using mathematical me... The paper presents an improved cellular automaton model according to the feature of evacuation near the outlet. We studied friction and turning factors that affect pedestrian evacuation speed. By using mathematical methods to derive expressions of friction function and turning function. The average pedestrian outflow of the simulation that includes the effect of both the frictional function and the turning function agrees well with experiment result. On the contrary, the simulation results that only include the effect of the frictional function are not corresponding to the experiment results well. Simulation results show that friction and turning can not be ignored. By analyzing the simulation results, it verified that the model can accurately reflect the actual evacuation process and has practical value. 展开更多

Properties of the chair doublet bands of the odd-odd Cs isotopes built on the πh11/2× vh11/2 configuration are investigated systematically within the supersymmetry scheme including many-body interactions and possessing the SO(5)(or SU(5)) symmetry on the rotational symmetry. Quantitatively good results of the energy spectra, the energy staggering parameter as a function of the spin are obtained. The calculation shows that the stronger competition between the pairing and anti-pairing effects and the SU(3) symmetry broking more seriously exist in the stable chiral structure. 展开更多

The heat storage solar Stirling generator referred in this paper is a power conversion unit integrating sunlight receiver, regenerative chamber, Stirling engine and generator, which increases a heat storage function relative to similar power conversion units. This power conversion unit adopts invention patents authorized in China in recent years to apply to dish solar Stirling thermal power system, and it will be sure to become a principal part of future energy internet and the optimal technical route of CSP (concentrating solar power). The trough system rests on that Stirling generator substitutes the steam turbine to desalt seawater by remaining heat during power generation. Accordingly, the tower system will be rejected. 展开更多
