We utilize the fuzzy linguistic scale to construct a linguistic preference matrix, and propose a fuzzy induced ordered weighted geometric averaging (FIOWGA) operator to aggregate linguistic preference information. A method based on the fuzzy linguistic scale and FIOWGA operator for decision-making problems is presented. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the developed method and to demonstrate its feasibility and effectiveness.展开更多

By this means...In view of the seismic exploration problem of thin sand reservoirs in the Songliao Basin, this paper puts forward a migration imaging method using CGP (common geophone point) stacked cylindrical waves. By this means, seismic data should be acquired from a midpoint shooting layout system with small shot-point spacing and small geophone interval. Using such seismic data, CGP gathers are first stacked to compose a cylindrical wave section. The cylindrical wave section is migrated and imaged by means of the ray path downward continuation of the down-going wave and the wave equation downward continuation of the upgoing wave. The results from the modeling analysis and the data processing of the TK8157 seismic line in the Songliao Basin shows that the proposed migration imaging method has higher seismic resolution and fidelity. Furthermore, the proposed method is proven to be more effective for discovering small sand bodies, small faults, stratigraphic pinch-outs, and so on.展开更多

Dielectric constants were determined by measuring capacitance.It is found that the selectivity of the additives toward coal or minerals is not consistent.Salicylic acid is the optimal additive to enhance the triboelectrification performance of coal samples.Starch, lignin and sodium oleate are suitable for removal of pyrite.SH,sodium silicate,SDBS,SB and ammonia are suitable additives for the removal of ash-forming minerals.展开更多

To increase the machine accuracy by improving the stiffness of bearings,a preload was applied to bearings.A variable preload technology was necessary to perform machining processes in both low and high speed regions.A...To increase the machine accuracy by improving the stiffness of bearings,a preload was applied to bearings.A variable preload technology was necessary to perform machining processes in both low and high speed regions.An automatic variable preload device was fabricated using an eccentric mass.By installing the fabricated device on a spindle,the effect of the automatic variable preload device on the performance of the spindle was analyzed.In the results of the vibration measurement of the spindle,the vibration is increased by 20%-37% according to measurement points at the maximum rotation speed of 5 000 r/min.And,in the results of the noise measurement of the spindle,the spindle rotation speed is increased by about 1.9% and 1.5% at the front and side of the spindle,respectively.Based on the results of this analysis,an improved method that reduces such effects on the performance of the spindle is proposed.展开更多
IN617B nickel-base superalloy is considered as a good candidate material in 700℃advanced ultrasupercritical coal-fired power plants.The effect of Ta addition on solidification microstructure and element segregation o...IN617B nickel-base superalloy is considered as a good candidate material in 700℃advanced ultrasupercritical coal-fired power plants.The effect of Ta addition on solidification microstructure and element segregation of IN617B alloy was investigated by OM,SEM,TEM,EDS,EPMA and thermodynamic calculation.The results showed that the solidification microstructure exhibited a dendritic segregation pattern with many primary carbides distributed in interdendritic regions,such as network M_(6)C,lath M_(23)C_(6) and granular Ti(C,N).The addition of Ta promoted the precipitation of Ta-rich MC significantly inhibiting the precipitation of M_(6)C and M_(23)C_(6),and reduced the segregation degree of Al,Mo and Ti alloying elements.The addition of Ta decreased the melting temperature of MC carbide,but did not impact the solidification path,that was,L→γmatrix→MC or Ti(C,N)→M_(6)C→M_(23)C_(6),where MC and Ti(C,N)tended to form symbiotic microstructure with M_(6)C.This study will provide theoretical basis and data support for the alloy optimization and casting structure control of IN617B nickel-based superalloy.展开更多

Integrated resistors fabricated from Ohmeg...In order to utilize integrated passive technology in printed circuit boards (PCBs), manufacturing processing for integrated resistors by lamination method was investigated. Integrated resistors fabricated from Ohmega technologies in the experiment were 1 408 pieces per panel with four different patterns A, B, C and D and four resistance values of 25, 50, 75 and 100 fL Six panel per batch and four batches were performed totally. The testing was done for 960 pieces of integrated resistors randomly selected with the same size. The value distribution ranges and the relative standard deviation (RSD) show that the scatter degree of the resistance decreases with the resistor size increasing and/or with the resistance increasing. Patterns D with resistance of 75 and 100% for four patterns have the resistance value variances less than 10%. Patterns C and D with resistance of 100 Ω have the manufacturing tolerance less than 10%. The process capabilities are from about 0.6 to 1.6 for the designed testing patterns, which shows that the integrated resistors fabricated have the potential to be used in multilayer PCBs in the future.展开更多
This study investigated the preference for wood and plastic-based ceiling panels by homeowners in Ghana, the implications for the conservation of tropical forests and prospects for the local wood processing industry. ...This study investigated the preference for wood and plastic-based ceiling panels by homeowners in Ghana, the implications for the conservation of tropical forests and prospects for the local wood processing industry. Questionnaire was used to solicit information from 758 homeowners sampled from three cities in Ghana. The results showed that even though wood-based panels continue to enjoy strong patronage among home owners plastic-based panels appear to be the future material for ceiling. The findings suggest that, by 2030, homeowners in Ghana will use more plastic-based ceiling panels than wood-based panels, ceteris paribus. Attractiveness, durability and pleasantness are the key attributes of plastics that influence homeowners' decision to patronize the material. Additionally, the concern about the depletion of forest resources in Ghana has shaped homeowners decision to patronize plastic-based ceiling panels. While the shift to the use of plastic-based panels has the potential to moderate the consumption levels of timber and therefore could contribute to the conservation of tropical forests, it has a negative implication on the development of local wood processing industry. One area where manufacturers of wood products such as wood panels can explore in order to increase or maintain the market share of wood-based panel products is sourcing raw timber from certified forests.展开更多

This paper presents a parallel algorithm for distributed memory parallel computers for adaptive local refinement of tetrahedral meshes using bisection. This algorithm is used in PHG, Parallel Hierarchical Grid Chttp://lsec. cc. ac. cn/phg/), a toolbox under active development for parallel adaptive finite element solutions of partial differential equations. The algorithm proposed is characterized by allowing simukaneous refinement of submeshes to arbitrary levels before synchronization between submeshes and without the need of a central coordinator process for managing new vertices. Using the concept of canonical refinement, a simple proof of the independence of the resulting mesh on the mesh partitioning is given, which is useful in better understanding the behaviour of the biseetioning refinement procedure.展开更多

Based on the spatial coordinate theory, the orientation deviation of workpiece is measured by using an on-machine verification system, which can take into account the errors resulting from fixture manufacturing, installation and adjustment, location and clamping of workpiece. According to the least square method, the model of orientation deviation is built to determine the relationship between the theoretical and actual coordinate systems. The influence of orientation deviation on machining accuracy is quantified, and it is shown that the orientation deviation only affects the dimensional precision and position precision, rather than shape precision. In the experiment, the compensation processing of realtime errors was conducted, and the perpendicularity and inclination errors of the tetragonal part were reduced by 38.46% and 47.06%, respectively.展开更多

Aiming at the failure condition of large range MEMS accelerometers in high temperature environment,the corresponding accelerated degradation test is designed. According to the degradation condition of zero bias and scale factor,multiple dependent reliability estimation of large range MEMS accelerometers is carried out. The results show that the multiple dependent reliability estimation of the large range MEMS accelerometers can improve the accuracy of the estimation and get more accurate results.展开更多
Portland cement(PC) containing high-volume fly ash(HVFA) is usually used to obtain economical and more sustainable merits, but these merits suffer from dramatically low compressive strength especially at early ages. I...Portland cement(PC) containing high-volume fly ash(HVFA) is usually used to obtain economical and more sustainable merits, but these merits suffer from dramatically low compressive strength especially at early ages. In this work, the possibility of using micro-size metakaolin(MSK) particles to improve the compressive strength of HVFA paste before and after subjecting to high temperatures was studied. To produce HVFA paste, cement was partially substituted with 70% fly ash(FA), by weight. After that, FA was partially substituted with MSK at ratios fluctuating from 5% to 20% with an interval of 5%, by weight. The effect of MSK on the workability of HVFA mixture was measured. After curing, specimens were subjected to different high temperatures fluctuating from 400 to 1000 ℃ with an interval of 200 ℃ for 2 h. The results were analyzed by different techniques named X-ray diffraction(XRD), thermogravimetry(TGA) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The results showed that the incorporation of MSK particles into HVFA mixture exhibited a negative effect on the workability and a positive effect on the compressive strength before and after firing.展开更多
