The human-induced vertical vibration serviceability of low-frequency and lightweight footbridges is studied based on the moving mass-spring-damper(MMSD) biodynamic model, and the mass damper(TMD) with different optimal model parameters being used to control the vertical vibration.First, the MMSD biodynamic model is employed to simulate the pedestrians, and the time-varying control equations of the vertical dynamic coupling system of the pedestrian-bridgeTMD are established with the consideration of pedestrianbridge dynamic interaction; and the equations are solved by using the Runge-Kutta-Felhberg integral method with variable step size. Secondly, the footbridge dynamic response is calculated under the model of pedestrian-structure dynamic interaction and the model of moving load when the pedestrian pace frequency is consistent with the natural frequency of footbridge. Finally, a comparative study and analysis are made on the control effects of the vertical dynamic coupling system in different optimal models of the TMD. The calculation results show that the pedestrian-bridge dynamic interaction cannot be ignored when the vertical human-induced vibration serviceability of low-frequency and light-weight footbridge is evaluated. The TMD can effectively reduce the vibration under the resonance of pedestrian-bridge, and TMD parameters are recommended for the determination by the Warburton optimization model. 展开更多

The ignition time of engine was delayed to reduce transmission output shaft torque during gear shift. In contrast to traditional control method, the closed loop control system based on torque observer can obviously reduce the transmission output shaft torque during gear shift. A vehicle stopping method using an electric brake until a traction motor is stopped is studied. At the moment of vehicle stop, electric brake is changed to control mode where torque is reduced at a low speed. Gradient is controlled by estimating the load torque of motor, thereby traction motor is not rotated after stop. In addition, coasting operation and brake test are performed from normal-opposite operation and start using a small-scale model comprising the inertial load equipment and the power converter. Further, traction motor is made to be equipped with a suspension torque. Pure electric braking that makes traction motor stop by an air brake at the time of stop is also implemented. Constant torque range and constant power range are expanded during braking so that braking force is secured with the electric brakes even in high speed region. Therefore, vehicle reduction effect can be expected by reducing parts related with an air brake which is not used frequently by using a pure electric brake in the M car in wide speed region. Further, maintenance of brake system can be reduced. Besides, ride comfort of passenger in the electric rail car, energy efficiency improvement, and noise reduction effect can be additionally expected. Further, an improved brake method that uses only an electric brake till motor stop is proposed by comparing those in the blending brake that uses an air brake while reducing brake torque at vehicle stop. 展开更多

An adaptive terminal sliding mode control (SMC) technique is proposed to deal with the tracking problem for a class of high-order nonlinear dynamic systems. It is shown that a function augmented sliding hyperplane can be used to develop a new terminal sliding mode for high-order nonlinear systems. A terminal SMC controller based on Lyapunov theory is designed to force the state variables of the closed-loop system to reach and remain on the terminal sliding mode, so that the output tracking error then converges to zero in finite time which can be set arbitrarily. An adaptive mechanism is introduced to estimate the unknown parameters of the upper bounds of system uncertainties. The estimates are then used as controller parameters so that the effects of uncertain dynamics can be eliminated. It is also shown that the stability of the closed-loop system can be guaranteed with the proposed control strategy. The simulation of a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the new method. 展开更多

Energy management strategy based on logic thresh- old is designed which is aimed at efficient operation of the overall system considering the operational characteristic of the components and taking the curves of engine, hydraulic pump/motor and hydrau- lic pump as the main design basis; regenerative control strategy which makes regenerative brake sys- tem and frictional brake system work harmoniously is designed to raise recovery rate of regenerative brake energy. System dynamic modeling and simulation results show that the energy control strategy designed here is able to adapt system to changes of working condition and switch the operating mode reasonably. In studying the diffusion-controlled adsorption kinetics of aqueous surfactant solutions at the air/solution surface by means of the maximal bubble pressure method, Fick's diffusion equation for a sphere should be used. In this paper the equation was solved by means of Laplace transformation under different initial and boundary conditions. The dynamic surface adsorption F(t) for a surfactant solution, which was used to describe the diffusion-controlled adsorption kinetics at the solution surface, was derived. Different from the planar surface adsorption, the dynamic surface adsorption F(t) for the short time consists of two terms: one is the same as Ward-Tordai equation and the other reflects the geometric effect caused by the spherical bubble surface. This effect should not be neglected for the very small radius of the capillary. The equilibrium surface tension γeq and the dynamic surface tension γ(t) of aqueous C10E6 [CH3(CH2)9(OCH2CH2)6OH] solution at temperature 25℃ were measuredby means of Wilhelmy plate method and maximal bubble pressure method respectively. As t→ 0, the theoreticalanalysis is in good agreement with experimental results and the dependence of γ(t) on is linear. 展开更多

In the special solution of the electric and hybrid vehicle are also applied a Random Switching Frequency Modulation. The control of hybrid vehicle should assure the realization of established transport-assignments in the definite time, at the optimum of energy consumption. One can this realize using. The multi criteria control system. Some results of the computer simulations are presented in the paper. Due to the coaxial connection of engine, motor and pump, the dynamic characteristics of hybrid construction machinery are changed, which generates a new torsional vibration problem of multi-power sources. To reduce the torsional vibration of the hybrid construction machinery complex shafting, torsional vibration active control was proposed. The three-mass model of coaxial shafting of hybrid construction machinery was established. The PID control and the fuzzy sliding mode control were chosen to weaken torsional vibration by controlling the motor speed and torque. The simulation results show that the fuzzy sliding mode control has 12% overshoot of the PID control when the engine torque changes. Therefore, this situation makes good area for discovering if there are the next personal rights which have characteristic nature of this institute. It is important to analyze in which private relationships the personal right has the conditions for its full realization. It is important to discover in which kind of private relationships exist the personal rights which is typical for these relationships. This paper deals with the value of human personality--labour force. In the first part, the paper analyzes the nature of labour force and tries to show that labour force is the next personal right, using the method of analysis, induction, deduction, and synthesis. In the second part of the paper, it is labour force analyzed through its realization in labour relationships. This part of the paper tries to show that labour force is personal right typical for labour relationships, using the methods of analysis, synthesis, and generalization. This paper describes the implementation of brake procedures with simulated inertia on a reduced scale brake dynamometer For this purpose, the theoretical foundations are first explained, and test measurements are carried out. The results show good agreement between calculated and measured accelerations during brake applications. Furthermore, braking processes with various driver models were carried out using associated normal force functions, and examined with regard to their coefficients of friction. A clear difference between these models can be observed. This introduces the possibility for new measurement methods for the analysis of NVH-behavior in brake systems. This work is the first step towards identifying a transfer function between full- and reduced-scale brake dynamometers. In a second step, the temperature scaling must be taken into account. Based on these results, it is possible to isolate the influences of the braking system components from those of the dynamics of the friction coefficient in the boundary layer. 展开更多

The real-time distributed control and diagnosis system based on the Time Trigger Controller Area Network (TTCAN) with 10 ms basic control period was developed. The concept and implementation of processor (or controller) monitor and process (or task) monitor technique based on the TYCAN were applied in this paper. The fault tolerant control algorithm of the fuel cell engine and the battery man- agement system were considered. Rural tourism plays a crucial role in promoting the process of urban-rural integration and regionally coordinated development.Drawing on theories of tourism system drive and system science,this study constructed a rural tourism system dynamics model with four subsystems:demand,supply,media,and support.Subsequently,we predicted the optimal mechanism for rural tourism development using scenario simulation methods.The findings were four-fold.(1)The rural tourism development dynamics system constructed in this study overcame the limitations of previous subsystem divisions.(2)Under the development scenarios of Natural development mechanism(NDM),Demand driven mechanism(DDM),Supply driven mechanism(SDMe),Media driven mechanism(MDM),Support driven mechanism(SDMu),and Synergistic driven mechanism(SDMy),the rural tourism development index values in 2035 were 0.678,0.702,0.755,0.715,0.776,and 0.836,respectively.Among these scenarios,SDMy emerged as the ideal mechanism for rural tourism development in Yangshuo County.(3)Based on the characteristics of the rural tourism development index,rural tourism in Yangshuo County has undergone three stages:fluctuating growth,rapid development,and recession.(4)Yangshuo County’s rural tourism supply index grows slowly and is always below 0.8,which is a key link for future structural optimization.This study proposes a direction for rural tourism development in Yangshuo and a later impetus,which can accelerate the process of urban-rural integration in Yangshuo and similar areas. 展开更多

Spark discharge plasma synthetic jets(SPJs) have been used for the active flow control study on an NACA 0021 straight-wing model in a wind tunnel. The model forces and moments were measured using a six-component sting balance at a 20 m/s wind speed. The aim was to explore the SPJ's effect on airfoil aerodynamic by examining SPJ generators' position along the chordwise and the jet flow direction about the chord. Near the wing leading edge, two SPJ generators raised the stall angle by 2° and increased the maximum lift coefficient by 9%. The drag coefficient was decreased by 33.1%, and the lift-drag ratio was increased by 104.2% at an angle of attack above 16°. The rolling-moment coefficient was modified by 0.002, and the yawing-moment coefficient was changed by 0.0007 at angles of attack in the range of 0°–16°. The results showed that SPJs can control wing aerodynamic forces at a high angle of attack and moments at a low angle of attack. 展开更多

For a single-motor parallel hybrid electric vehicle, during mode transitions (especially the transition from electric drive mode to engine/parallel drive mode, which requires the clutch engagement), the drivability of the vehicle will be signifi- cantly affected by a clutch torque induced disturbance, driveline oscillations and jerks which can occur without adequate controls. To improve vehicle drivability during mode transitions for a single-motor parallel hybrid electric vehicle, two controllers are proposed. The first controller is the engine-side controller for engine cranking/starting and speed synchronization. The second controller is the motor-side controller for achieving a smooth mode transition with reduced driveline oscillations and jerks under the clutch torque induced disturbance and system uncertainties. The controllers are all composed of a feed-forward control and a robust feedback control. The robust controllers are designed by using the mu synthesis method. In the design process, control- oriented system models that take account of various parameter uncertainties and un-modeled dynamics are used. The results of the simulation demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithms. 展开更多

The constitutive behavior of microcrystals remains mysterious since very little,or no information regarding plastic deformation in the measured stress-strain curve is available due to plastic instability.Furthermore,the measured stress-strain curves vary greatly under different control modes,while constitutive behavior should remain unaffected by test methods.Beyond these reasons,probing the real constitutive behavior of microcrystals has long been a challenge because the nonlinear dynamical behaviors of micromechanical testing systems are unclear.Here,we perform and carefully analyze the experiments on singlecrystal aluminum micropillars under displacement control and load control.To interpret these experimental results,a lumpedparameter physical model based on the principle of micromechanical testing is developed,which can directly relate nonlinear dynamics of the micromechanical testing system to the constitutive behavior of microcrystals.This reveals that some stages of the measured stress-strain curve attributed to the control algorithm are not related to constitutive behavior.By solving the nonlinear dynamics of the micromechanical testing system,intense plastic instability(large strain burst)starting from the equilibrium state is attributed to the strain-softening stage of microcrystals.Parametric studies are also performed to reduce the influence of plastic instability on the measured responses.This study provides critical insights for developing various constitutive models and designing a reliable micromechanical testing system. 展开更多

The nonlinear dynamics of permanent-magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) with v/f control signals is investigated intensively.First,the equilibria and steady-state characteristics of the system are formulated by analytical analysis.Then,some of its basic dynamical properties,such as characteristic eigenvalues,Lyapunov exponents and phase trajectories are studied by varying the values of system parameters.It is found that when the values of the system parameters are smaller,the PMSM operates in stable domains,no matter what the values of control gains are.With the values of parameters increasing,the unstability appears and PMSM falls into chaotic operation.Furthermore,the complex dynamic behaviors are verified by means of simulation. 展开更多

Due to the coexistence and coupling of continuous variables and discrete events, the vehicle height adjustment process of electronic air suspension system can be regarded as a typical hybrid system. Therefore, the hybrid system theory was applied to design a novel vehicle height control strategy in this paper. A nonlinear mechanism model of the vehicle height adjustment system was established based on vehicle system dynamics and thermodynamic theory for variable-mass gas charge/discharge system. In order to model both the continuous/discrete dynamics of vehicle height adjustment process and the on-off statuses switching of solenoid valves, the framework of mixed logical dynamical(MLD) modelling was used. On the basis of the vehicle height adjustment control strategy, the MLD model of the adjustment process was built by introducing auxiliary logical variables and auxiliary continuous variables. Then, the co-simulation of the nonlinear mechanism model and the MLD model was conducted based on the compiling of HYSDEL. The simulation and experimental results show that the proposed control strategy can not only adjust the vehicle height effectively, but also achieve the on-off statuses direct control of solenoid valves. 展开更多
