In order to investigate the oxidation kinetics of gas coal at low temperatures, we derived a rate equation of oxygen consumption during low-temperature oxidation of gas coal and deduced an E-c equation, expressing the relation between active energy E and oxygen concentration c. The reaction order n and active energy E were calculated with this equation based on experiments of static oxygen consumption tests. In addition, we proved the rationality of the E-c equation using a kinetic compensation effect and obtained the isokinetic temperature Tc. The results show that: 1) the gas coal oxidizes easily with increasing temperature and the oxidation tends to be spontaneous at higher temperatures; 2) the oxygen concentration c affects oxygen consumption very much at lower temperatures but has only a small effect at higher temperatures; 3) the isokinetic temperature Tc was 127 ℃ which has been experimentally validated as the key turning point during low-temperature spontaneous combustion of gas coal. 展开更多

Based on six 30-day numeri... The fidelity scheme of physical conservation laws has been applied in the dynamic framework of a global spectral model. In this study, a set of diabatic physical processes are also involved. Based on six 30-day numerical integrations of real-time data, we show that the full model is able to reproduce the primary features of global energy cycle and hydrological distribution. Additionally, the root-mean-square error is dramatically decreased when diabatic processes are considered. Another advantage is that the false structure of "double Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ)" is not seen in the result, although the orecioitation rate becomes lower. 展开更多

In this paper,the effects of forward speed on the lateral vibration of a slender structure in an infinite fluid are considered.By equating the bending stress of the structure with the hydrodynamic force acting on it,the equation which governs the fluid-structure interaction of a slender structure both vibrating and moving in water is obtained.Numerical results show that the influence of forward speed on the vibration of a slender structure in water is significant.It behaves like damping,reducing both natural frequencies and responses significantly. 展开更多

The arguments in this paper lead to a new definition of thermodynamic equilibrium that remedies the deficiencies of the current forms. This definition relates thermodynamic equilibrium to its physical causes and accounts for all factors that determine it for all types of equilibrium. Standard definitions of thermodynamic equilibrium are incomplete. They do not take account of all factors that determine such equilibriums, discuss the impediments which may prevent them being reached or relate the properties that define equilibriums to the physical reasons that determine them when impediments are present. The laws of thermodynamics determine the requirements for equilibrium. These laws arise from the physical behaviour of the molecules in molecular systems and are consequences of the conservation of energy, the energies of molecules, statistics, Newton's laws of motion, and the equi-partition of energy. The standard definition of thermodynamic equilibrium correctly defines equilibrium whenever impediments are not factors. The discussion demonstrates how impediments arise, accounts for their role in defining equilibrium and how they relate to the energies of molecules at the conditions of the system. Therefore, this situation makes good area for discovering if there are the next personal rights which have characteristic nature of this institute. It is important to analyze in which private relationships the personal right has the conditions for its full realization. It is important to discover in which kind of private relationships exist the personal rights which is typical for these relationships. This paper deals with the value of human personality--labour force. In the first part, the paper analyzes the nature of labour force and tries to show that labour force is the next personal right, using the method of analysis, induction, deduction, and synthesis. In the second part of the paper, it is labour force analyzed through its realization in labour relationships. This part of the paper tries to show that labour force is personal right typical for labour relationships, using the methods of analysis, synthesis, and generalization. We propose a novel two-species aggregation-annihilation model, in which irreversible aggregation reactions occur between any two aggregates of the same species and biased annihilations occur simultaneously between two different species. The kinetic scaling behavior of the model is then analytically investigated by means of the mean-field rate equation. For the system without the seff-aggregation of the un-annihilated species, the aggregate size distribution of the annihilated species always approaches a modified scaling form and vanishes finally; while for the system with the self-aggregation of the un-annihilated species, its scaling behavior depends crucially on the details of the rate kernels. Moreover, the results also exhibit that both species are conserved together in some cases, while only the un-annihilated species survives finally in other cases. 展开更多

We investigate the kinetic behavior of a two-species catalysis-driven aggregation model, in which coagulation of species A occurs only with the help of species B. We suppose the monomers of species B are stable and cannot selfcoagulate in reaction processes. Meanwhile, the monomers are continuously injected into the system. The model with a constant rate kernel is investigated by means of the mean-field rate equation. We show that the Mneties of the system depends crucially on the details of the input term. The injection rate of species B is assumed to take the given time- dependent form K(t) -t^λ, and the sealing solution of the duster size distribution is then investigated analytically. It is found that the cluster size distribution can satisfy the conventional or modified scaling form in most cases. 展开更多

We combined the similar simulation with numerical simulation to analyze the movement and deforma- tion features of overlying strata caused by paste backfill mining, study the movement and deformation laws of the overlying strata in paste backfill mining, structural movement of the stope strata as well as the stope stress distribution laws. Furthermore, authors also explored the key factors to the movement and deformation of the overlying strata in paste backfill mining. The results indicate that a caving zone existed in the bending zone only in the overlying strata of the paste backfill mining. Compared with the roof caving mining, the degree of stress concentration and area of influence in the paste filling stope were apparently smaller. And the degree of destruction and area of the overlying strata decreased prominently. Also, there was no apparent strata behavior in the working face. Lastly, the filling ratio was the key to control the movement and deformation of the overlying strata. Combined with a specific engineering example, the author proved the reliability of the simulation results and provided a theoretical basis for the further extension of the paste backfill mining. 展开更多

An analysis of the variation rule of abutment pressure at the mining working face in a single coal seam and the mechanical behavior of surrounding rock during stoping is presented. Consideration of the elastic and plastic deformation zones that develop during the mining process allowed the determination of a relationship between horizontal stress and vertical stress. Based on this, a confined pressure unloading test was conducted by the use of the "gas-containing coal tbermo-fluid-solid coupling 3-axis servo seep- age" experimental apparatus. Thus, gas flow patterns in the elastic and plastic zones were derived from an experimental point of view. Darcy's law and the Klinkenberg effect were used to derive a gas flow equation for the elastic and plastic stress fields. The study of gas flow phenomena at the working face during coal mining is of great importance for the study of gas migration and enrichment patterns. 展开更多

In order to explain the oscillation heat transfer dynamics of closed loop oscillation heat pipe (CLOHP) with two liquid slugs,analysis on the forces and heat transfer process of the partial gas-liquid phase system involving multiple parameters was carried out,and a new type oscillation heat transfer dynamic model of the CLOHP was set up based on conservation laws of mass,momentum and energy.Application results indicate that its oscillation heat transfer dynamics features depend largely on the filling rate,pipe diameter and difference in temperature.Besides,oscillation intensity and transfer performance can be improved to a large extent by increasing the temperature difference properly and enlarging the pipe diameter within a certain range under a certain filling rate. 展开更多

Theories with ingredients like the Higgs mechanism, gravitons, and inflaton fields rejuvenate the idea that relativistic kinematics is dynamically emergent. Eternal inflation treats the Hubble constant H as depending on location. Microscopic dynamics implies that H is over much smaller lengths than pocket universes to be understood as a local space reproduction rate. We illustrate this via discussing that even exponential inflation in TeV-gravity is slow on the relevant time scale. In our on small scales inhomogeneous cosmos, a reproduction rate H depends on position. We therefore discuss Einstein-Strauss vacuoles and a Lindquist-Wheeler like lattice to connect the local rate properly with the scaling of an expanding cosmos. Consistency allows H to locally depend on Weyl curvature similar to vacuum polarization. We derive a proportionality constant known from Kepler's third law and discuss the implications for the finiteness of the cosmological constant. 展开更多
