钱江通道位于钱塘江河口的强涌潮区域,在洪潮水动力作用下河床冲淤剧烈。极端水动力作用下河床的冲刷深度是过江隧道工程建设的关键技术问题之一。本文基于河床演变分析、动床数值模拟、动床物理模型试验、沉积物分析等手段进行研究。... 钱江通道位于钱塘江河口的强涌潮区域,在洪潮水动力作用下河床冲淤剧烈。极端水动力作用下河床的冲刷深度是过江隧道工程建设的关键技术问题之一。本文基于河床演变分析、动床数值模拟、动床物理模型试验、沉积物分析等手段进行研究。首先建立了钱江通道过江隧道河段洪、潮水流冲刷深度的预测模型,经钱塘江河口的实测地形、水流泥沙及河床冲淤等资料的验证。在此基础上预测了过江隧道断面在极端水动力作用下最大冲刷深度,并与沉积物分析方法进行比较,四种研究方法所得的结果定性定量基本合理,进一步表明了预测模型的可靠性,预测的最大冲刷深度可为过江隧道的合理埋设提供参考依据。 展开更多

The effect of operating conditions such as bed pressure, air and steam mass flow ratio, temperature on product compositions in the bed is investigated. Asynchronous simulated moving bed chromatography (ASMBC), known also as the 'VARICOL' process, is more efficient and flexible than the well-known and traditional simulated moving bed chromatography (SMBC). A detailed model of ASMBC, taking account of non-linear competitive isotherms, mass transfer parameters, and complex port switching schedule parameters, was developed to simulate the complex dynamics of ASMBC.The simulated performance is in close agreement with the experimental data of chiral separation reported in the literature. The simulation results show that ASMBC can achieve the performance similar to SMBC with fewer columns and can achieve better performance than SMBC with the same total column number. All design and operation parameters can be chosen correctly by numerical simulation. This detailed ASMBC model and the numerical technique are useful for design, operation, optimization and scale-up of ASMBC. 展开更多

The research on Constructed Soil Rapid Infiltration(CSRI) system is in its infancy at home and abroad.There are several details about the mechanism and application of CSRI system needed to be further studied.A major limitation in the current research is the absence of degradation dynamics of pollutants,and the height of filtration bed in CSRI system currently determined by empirical judgment lacks accuracy and logicality.To solve these two prob-lems,the soil column of CSRI system was utilized to treat domestic wastewater,meanwhile,the NH3-N degradation dynamics were studied according to the Monod equation,the research of Mann A T and the NH3-N degradation law.Then the mathematical model of filtration bed height was built based on NH3-N degradation dynamics equation in the soil column.It has been proven that within a limited range this model can calculate the appropriate height of filtration bed accurately in order to optimize technological parameters of hydraulic load and the concentration of influent NH3-N,improving the effluent quality of CSRI system. 展开更多

Flow behavior of gas and particles in conical spouted beds is experimentally studied and simulated using the twofluid gas-solid model with the kinetic theory of granular flow.The bed pressure drop and fountain height are measured in a conical spouted bed of 100 mm I.D.at different gas velocities.The simulation results are compared with measurements of bed pressure drop and fountain height.The comparison shows that the drag coefficient model used in cylindrical beds under-predicted bed pressure drop and fountain height in conical spouted beds due to the partial weight of particles supported by the inclined side walls.It is found that the numerical results using the drag coefficient model proposed based on the conical spouted bed in this study are in good agreement with experimental data.The present study provides a useful basis for further works on the CFD simulation of conical spouted bed. 展开更多

The salt-gradient operation mode used in ion-exchange simulated moving bed chromatography (SMBC) can improve the efficiency of protein separations. A detailed model that takes into account any kind of adsorption/ion-exchange equilibrium, salt gradient, size exclusion, mass transfer resistance, and port periodic switching mechanism, was developed to simulate the complex dynamics. The model predictions were verified by the experimental data on upward and downward gradients for protein separations reported in the literature. All design and operating parameters (number, configuration, length and diameter of columns, particle size, switching period, flow rates of feed, raffinate, desorbent and extract, protein concentrations in feed, different salt concentrations in desorbent and feed) can be chosen correctly by numerical simulation. This model can facilitate the design, operation, optimization, control and scale-up of salt-gradient ion-exchange SMBC for protein separations. 展开更多

For the purpose of analyzing the torsional vibration caused by the gravitational unbalance torque arisen in a spindle system when it is machining heavy work piece,a 10-DOF lumped parameter model was made for the machine tool spindle system with geared transmission.By using the elementary method and Runge-Kutta method in Matlab,the eigenvalue problem was solved and the pure torsional vibration responses were obtained and examined.The results show that the spindle system cannot operate in the desired constant rotating speed as far as the gravitational unbalance torque is engaged,so it may cause bad effect on machining accuracy.And the torsional vibration increases infinitely near the resonant frequencies,so the spindle system cannot operate normally during these spindle speed ranges. 展开更多

A mathematical modei of two-dimensional turbulent gas-particle twophase flow based on the modified diffusion flux modei (DFM) and a numerical simulation method to analyze the gas-particle flow structures are developed. The modified diffusion flux modei, in which the acceleration due to various forces is taken into account for the calculation of the diffusion velocity of particles, is applicable to the analysis of multi-dimensional gas-particle two-phase turbulent flow. In order to verify its accuracy and efficiency, the numerical simulation by DFM is compared with experimental studies and the prediction by k-ε-kp two-fluid modei, which shows a reasonable agreement. It is confirmed that the modified diffusion flux modei is suitable for simulating the multi-dimensional gas-particle two-phase flow. 展开更多
