We find the sequence of periodic radiofrequency pulses repetitively to flip the state of the two-qubit system and quantitatively find that these pulses can be used to effectively suppress the phase damping decoherence of the quantum memory and freeze the system state into its initial state. The general sequence of periodic radio-frequency pulses to suppress the phase damping of multi-qubit of Ising model is also given.展开更多

First, the ground response wave (named LS-R wave) of a soft soil site with deep deposit, taking long-period bedrock seismic record as input, was calculated by wave propagation method. After that, a TOMAKOMAI station long-period seismic record from the Tokachi-Oki earthquake and conventional E1-Centro wave were also chosen. Spectrum characteristics of these waves were analyzed and compared. Then, a series of shaking table tests were performed on a 1:50 scale super high-rise structural model under these seismic waves. Furthermore, numerical simulation of the prototype structure under these excitations was conducted, and structure damages under different intensive ground motions were discussed. The results show that: 1) Spectrum characteristics of ground response wave are significantly influenced by soft soil site with deep deposit, and the predominant period has an increasing trend. 2) The maximum acceleration amplification factor of the structure under the TOM wave is two times that under the E1-Centro wave; while the maximum displacement response of the structure under the TOM wave is 4.4 times that under the E1-Centro wave. Long-period ground motions show greater influences on displacement responses than acceleration responses for super high-rise building structures. 3) Most inelastic damage occurs at the upper 1/3 part of the super high-rise building when subjected to long-period ground motions.展开更多

Temperature fluctuation cycles (15 cycles, 60 d in total) consisted of the following three regimes of 4 d duration: keeping water temperature in 26℃ for 3 d (Group A), 2 d (Group B), 0 d (Group C, control); then keeping water temperature in 16℃ for the next 1, 2, 4 d. No significant difference in the survival rate was observed between the control and temperature fluctuation groups (P〉0.05). Lamellar depositions in a temperature fluctuation cycle were 2.45±0.02 for Group A, 2.00±0.02 for Group B, and 1.78±0.02 for Group C (P〈0.05). The relationship between age and number of lamellas in the cuttlebone of S. esculenta under each water temperature fluctuation could be described as the linear model and the number of lamellas in the cuttlebone did not correspond to actual age. Group A had the highest cuttlebone growth index (CGI), the lowest locular index (LI), and inter-streak distances comparing with those of control group. However, the number of lamellas and LI or CGI showed a quadratic relationship for each temperature fluctuation group. In addition, temperature fluctuations caused the breakage of cuttlebone dark rings, which was considered a thermal mark. The position of the breakage in the dark rings was random. This thermal mark can be used as supplementary information for marking and releasing techniques.展开更多

To analyze the state variables of the system, the complete set of nonlinear equations of motion including an effective linear control function was solved for A-4D and Mig-21 Aircraft. The roll angle responding to the linear control function for both models was estimated when the systems were tested under different damping ratios. The numerical re- suits show that a linear control function including both the roll attitude and the roll rate is sufficient to suppress the wing rock motion with an acceptable error in desired time. A good agreement between the numerical results and the published work is obtained for the limit cycle oscillation existence at different damping ratios.展开更多
