Such a method is able to predict the gas emission quantity in adjacent subsequent time intervals through training the WNN with even time-interval samples. The method builds successive new model with the width of sliding window remaining invariable so as to obtain a dynamic prediction method for gas emission quantity. Furthermore, the method performs prediction by a self-developed WNN toolbox. Experiments indicate that such a model can overcome the deficiencies of the traditional static prediction model and can fully make use of the feature extraction capability of wavelet base function to reflect the geological feature of gas emission quantity dynamically. The method is characterized by simplicity, flexibility, small data scale, fast convergence rate and high prediction precision. In addition, the method is also characterized by certainty and repeatability of the predicted results. The effectiveness of this method is confirmed by simulation results. Therefore, this method will exert practical significance on promoting the application of WNN.展开更多

Manufacturers publish an FCV's specific fuel consumption, but not its dynamic characteristics such as fuel consumption ratio and motor power ratio. Thus, it is difficult to reflect the dynamic characteristics of FCVs in lifecycle system evaluation. To solve this problem, we propose a fuel-consumption simulation method for FCVs using a 1.2 kW stationary PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cell). In this study, the specific fuel consumption under driving cycles such as the Japanese 10-15 and the JC08 modes are determined and compared with the FCV simulation results obtained using fuel consumption ratios derived from the stationary PEMFC. In the simulation, the specific fuel consumption was found to be 1.16 kg-H2/100-km for the base case under the Japanese 10-15 driving cycle.展开更多

In this paper, the dynamic and emission characteristics of a DLE gas turbine combustor have been researched in the authors' laboratory, and the results show that the key source of combustion instability is the non-uniformity of fuel in the flame zone. Two main fuel supply methods have been used to form different fuel distribution types; it is shown that in the perfectly premixed case the emission level is low and combustion process is stable. The PPF also has an obvious effect on the combustor's emission and dynamic characteristics.展开更多
