The swirl component in the tip trace plane (TTP) can be predicted, nonlinear items are added into the linear theory, and the old small angle assumption use d in matrix prediction is removed. All of these enha ncements are aimed at the low speed flight phase and formulations for the induce d velocity field just in the TTP frame are derived. Dynamic recrystallization was found responsible for flow softening during hot compression. The flow behavior was successfully analyzed by the hyperbolic sine equation and the corresponding material constants A, n and αwere determined. The value of apparent activation energy was determined as 423 kJ/mol. The peak and steady state strains showed simple power-law dependence on the Zener-Hollomon parameter. The dynamic recrystallization kinetics was analyzed using Avrami equation and the corresponding exponent was determined to be about 2.7. This value, higher than 2 reported in the literatures, is associated with the mechanism of continuous dynamic recrystallization in the studied alloy. The flow curve up to the peak was modeled by the Cingara equation and the strain exponent, c, was determined about 0.85. The higher value of c compared with the value of 0.2 which has been reported for some stainless steels fortified the idea of extended dynamic recovery or continuous dynamic recrystallization in the studied alloy.展开更多

This method is applied to two types of chaotic dynamic systems(Lorenz and Rssler) to examine the anti-noise ability for complex systems. Results show that the nonlinear dynamic system analysis method resists noise and reveals the internal dynamics of a weak signal from noise pollution. On this basis, the vertical upward gas–liquid two-phase flow in a 2 mm × 0.81 mm small rectangular channel is investigated. The frequency and energy distributions of the main oscillation mode are revealed by analyzing the time–frequency spectra of the pressure signals of different flow patterns. The positive power spectral density of singular-value frequency entropy and the damping ratio are extracted to characterize the evolution of flow patterns and achieve accurate recognition of different vertical upward gas–liquid flow patterns(bubbly flow:100%, slug flow: 92%, churn flow: 96%, annular flow: 100%). The proposed analysis method will enrich the dynamics theory of multi-phase flow in small channel.展开更多

A liquid sloshing experimental apparatus was established to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed model, as well as to study nonlinear sloshing in a prismatic tank with the baffles. Damping effects of sloshing in a rectangular tank with bottom-mounted vertical baffles and vertical baffles touching the free surface are studied numerically and experimentally. Good agreement is obtained between the present numerical results and experimental data. The numerical results match well with the current experimental data for strong nonlinear sloshing with large free surface slopes. The reduction in sloshing-wave elevation and impact pressure induced by the bottom-mounted vertical baffle and the vertical baffle touching the free surface is estimated by varying the external excitation frequency and the location and height of the vertical baffle under horizontal excitation.展开更多

The results indicate that oil-in-water type bubble flow will turn to deterministic motion with the increase of oil phase fraction f o and superficial gas velocity U sg under fixed flowrate of oil-water mixture Q mix . The dynamics of oil-in-water type slug flow becomes more complex with the increase of U sg under fixed flowrate of oil-water mixture. The change of f o leads to irregular influence on the dynamics of slug flow. These interesting findings suggest that the surrogate data method can be a faithful tool for characterizing dynamic characteristics of oil-in-water type bubble and slug flows.展开更多

In this paper, model predictive control(MPC) based on multi-model and double layered optimization is introduced for coordinated control of USC unit. The linear programming(LP) combined with quadratic programming(QP) is used in steady optimization for computation of the ideal value of dynamic optimization. Three inputs(i.e. valve opening, coal flow and feedwater flow) are employed to control three outputs(i.e. load, main steam temperature and main steam pressure). The step response models for the dynamic matrix control(DMC) are constructed using the three inputs and the three outputs. Piecewise models are built at selected operation points. Double-layered multi-model predictive controller is implemented in simulation with satisfactory performance.展开更多

In such systems one can consider a possibility for phase slips to be created not only due to thermal but also due to quantum fluctuations of a superconducting order parameter. We obtain some expressions of the free energy, the entropy, the specific heat and the bias current, respectively. The bias current I is a function of the temperature and the length of superconducting nanowires, and has a quantum phase slip. We obtain the stochastic dynamics of superconductiveresistive switching in hysteretic current-biased superconducting nanowires undergoing phase-slip fluctuations, and obtain the distribution of switching currents. Our results can be verified in modern experiments with superconducting nanowires.展开更多

We design a multi-objective TSP in a stochastic dynamic environment. This dynamic setting of the problem is very useful for routing in ad-hoc networks. The proposed search system first uses parallel processors to identify the extreme solutions of the search space for each ofk objectives individually at the same time. These solutions are merged into the so-called hit-frequency matrix E. The solutions in E are then searched by parallel processors and evaluated for dominance relationship. The search system is implemented in two different ways master-worker architecture and pipeline architecture.展开更多
