Method: Observe the effects of acupuncture and moxibustion at the points of Zusanli, Zhongwan and Tianshu on gastric mucosa in model rats with chronic atrophic gastritis. Results:Acupuncture and moxibustion can increase the contents of PGE2α, PGF2α and cAMP, and decrease the content of cGMP in the tissue of gastric mucosa. Conclusion: Acupuncture and moxibustion shows cytoprotection on gastric mucosa, so it is an effective method for treating chronic atrophic gastritis.展开更多

METHODS: One to 6 tandem copies of HBV preS1 (21-47) fragment were i...AIM: To improve the immunogenicity of receptor binding site of hepatitis B virus (HBV) on preS1 antigen using HBV core antigen as an immuno-carrier. METHODS: One to 6 tandem copies of HBV preS1 (21-47) fragment were inserted into HBcAg at the sites of aa 78 and 82, and expressed in E.coli. ELISA, Western blot and animal immunization were used to analyze the antigenicity and immmunogenicity of purified particulate antigens. The ability to capture HBV by antibodies elicited by chimeric particles was detected with immuno-capture PCR. RESULTS: Recombinant antigens CI, CII, CIII carrying 1-3 copies of HBV preSl (21-47) individually could form virus-like particles (VLPs), similar to HBcAg in morphology. But recombinant antigens carrying 4-6 copies of HBV preSl (21-47) were poorly expressed in E.coli. Chimeric antigens were lacking of immunoreactivity with anti-HBc monoclonal antibodies (McAbs), but still reserved good immunoreactivity with anti-HBe McAbs. CI, CII, CIII could strongly react with anti-preS1 McAb, suggesting that preS1 (21-47) fragment was well exposed on the surface of chimeric VLPs. Three chimeric VLP antigens (CI, CII and CIII) could stimulate mice to produce high-level antibody responses, and their immunogenicity was stronger than non-particulate antigen 21-47*6, containing 6 copies of preS1 (21-47). Mouse antibodies to CI, CII and CIII were able to capture HBV virions in immuno-capture PCR assay in vitro. CONCLUSION: Chimeric particulate antigens of receptor binding site-core antigen of HBV can elicit strong antibody responses to preS1. Rolling Thin Film Oven Test (RTFOT) is the AASHTO T240 standard method to simulate asphalt plant mix aging. But it has proven inadequate in aging polymer-modified asphalts (PMA). NCHRP 9-10 offered a modified RTF...Rolling Thin Film Oven Test (RTFOT) is the AASHTO T240 standard method to simulate asphalt plant mix aging. But it has proven inadequate in aging polymer-modified asphalts (PMA). NCHRP 9-10 offered a modified RTFOT (MRTFOT) by adding a steel rod in each bottle. Since construction temperature of PMA mixture is 10 ℃ -20 ℃ higher than that of conventional asphalt mixtures in the field, elevating RTFOT temperature for PMA is necessary for adequate aging and proper simulation. Six PMAs with various PG grades and sources were aged with RTFO at elevated temperatures. Some were also treated with MRTFOT for comparison. SHRP performance grade and phase angle were used as indicators to analyze the effects of RTFOT under different conditions. The results show that elevating the temperature is more effective than using rods. And PMA RTFOT temperature could be determined by equiviscous principle. From limited data, O. 25 Pa ~ s is tentatively proposed as critical viscosity for PMA, but still more work is necessary to validate this. Given the fact that equiviscous principle is seldom used in field practice, a simple approach was proposed: 173 ℃ is used for RTFOT of PG70 PMAs (grading herein from un-aged asphalts) , while 178 ℃ is for PMAs of PG76 or PG82 and 20 ℃ higher than standard 163 ℃ is necessary for PG 88 or stiffer PMAs.展开更多
Primary choriocarcinoma of the uterine cervix (PCC) is an extremely rare disease. The conventional treatment of PCC is a combination of hysterectomy and chemotherapy. We present one rare case proved by cervical biopsy...Primary choriocarcinoma of the uterine cervix (PCC) is an extremely rare disease. The conventional treatment of PCC is a combination of hysterectomy and chemotherapy. We present one rare case proved by cervical biopsy. The patient was an 36-year-old Chinese woman with irregular vaginal bleeding for 60 days. A cervical tumoral mass was seen in the pelvic examination and biopsy revealed active hyperplasia of trophoblastic cell. Because of massive vaginal haemorrhage, the patient accepted uterine artery drug pouring and embolism emergently. This management had gained a satisfactory effect. Thus, Uterine artery drug pouring and embolism is one new and effective weapon for PCC, which can preserve the patient’s productive ability.展开更多
