The proposed algorithm mainly consists of two stages: two-side edge...For calibrating the laser plane to implement 3D shape measurement, an algorithm for extracting the laser stripe with sub-pixel accuracy is proposed. The proposed algorithm mainly consists of two stages: two-side edge detection and center line extraction. First, the two-side edge of laser stripe is detected using the principal component angle-based progressive probabilistic Hough transform and its width is calculated through the distance between these two edges. Secondly, the center line of laser strip is extracted with 2D Taylor expansion at a sub-pixel level and the laser plane is calibrated with the 3D reconstructed coordinates from the extracted 2D sub-pixel ones. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can not only extract the laser stripe at a high speed, nearly average 78 ms/frame, but also calibrate the coplanar laser stripes at a low error, limited to 0.3 mm. The proposed algorithm can satisfy the system requirement of two-side edge detection and center line extraction, and rapid speed, high precision, as well as strong anti-jamming.展开更多

The calculations were performed for all possible spin states (for selected charge) and show the preference of low spin state. The energy difference between two C60^-3 and pairs C60^-1- C60^-5 and C60^-2- C60^-4 shows that the probability to create a charge alternation in fullerides is small.展开更多

The maximum enhancement factors of 1.43-2.15 were measured for activated carbon (AcC) particles. The analysis shows that the enhancement effect can be attributed to the shuttle mechanism. Considering the separate contributions of mass transfer from bubble cap and liquid film, a heterogeneous enhance- ment model is developed. According to this model, the enhancement factors Ecap, EFilm and Eov are mainly determined by mass transfer coefficient gL (gL Cap and KL Film), adsorptive capacity of particles m, and coverage fraction of particles at gas-liquid interface (. With both effects of particle-to-interface adhesion and apparent viscosity included, the model nredicts the enhancement effect of AcC varticles reasonably well.展开更多

The ca...The development of a two dimensional numerical wave tank (NWT) with a rocker or piston type wavemaker based on the high order boundary element method (BEM) and mixed Eulerian-Lagrangian (MEL) is examined. The cauchy principle value (CPV) integral is calculated by a special Gauss type quadrature and a change of variable. In addition the explicit truncated Taylor expansion formula is employed in the time-stepping process. A modified double nodes method is assumed to tackle the comer problem, as well as the damping zone technique is used to absorb the propagation of the free surface wave at the end of the tank. A variety of waves are generated by the NWT, for example; a monochromatic wave, solitary wave and irregular wave. The results confirm the NWT model is efficient and stable.展开更多

It attempts to overcome the "bin...This paper addresses the relationship between ontology and ethics, as outlined in Charles Taylor's essay "Ethics and Ontology," problematizing it from a narrative ethics viewpoint. It attempts to overcome the "binary" dichotomy presented in Taylor's essay, insisting instead in favour of an approach that distances itself from both reductionist naturalism and ancient and medieval ontological models. The move towards narrative ethics is positioned in relation to an implicit ontology. Taylor recognizes that man's way of life "consists of ways of sense making;" this human trait thus being an ontological presupposition, or precomprehension. Here, I suggest that this pre-narrative quality is in fact an ex ante projection of the work of meaning-making, arising ex post and, crucially, not universally attainable. If it were, it would be an unwarranted ontologization of features of human moral experience. Organizing the relationship between ontology and ethics within the perspective of narrative ethics does not mean doing away with the ontological dimension. Indeed, as this paper seeks to demonstrate, the ontological background of narrative ethics may be traced from a phenomenology of fragility, exposure, and interdependence. The definition of man as a self-interpreting animal should therefore be delineated in the sense of an endeavour; in this way, the individual can build up his own mediated relation with meaning, and, as a result, the practice of self-narrative becomes available to all.展开更多

Based on the Taylor and ItS-Taylor expansions, the Malliavin calculus theory (e.g., the multiple Malliavin integration-by-parts formula), and our new truncation error cancelation techniques, we rigorously prove that the strong convergence rate of the C-N scheme is of second order for solving decoupled FBSDEs, which fills the gap between the second-order numerical and theoretical analysis of the C-N scheme.展开更多
Non-fullerene organic acceptors have attracted increasing attention in recent years. One of the challenges in the synthesis of non-fullerene organic acceptors is to tune the absorption spectrum and molecular frontier ...Non-fullerene organic acceptors have attracted increasing attention in recent years. One of the challenges in the synthesis of non-fullerene organic acceptors is to tune the absorption spectrum and molecular frontier orbitals, affording low bandgap molecules with improved absorption of the near-infrared solar photons. In this paper, we present the synthesis, optoelectronic and photovoltaic properties of a series of dimeric perylene diimide(PDI) based non-fullerene acceptors. These PDI dimers are bridged by oligothiophene(T) from 1T to 6T. With the increase of the oligothienyl size, the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO) energy is raised from ?5.65 to ?5.10 e V, while that of the lowest unoccupied molecular orbit(LUMO) is kept constant at ?3.84 e V, affording narrow bandgap from 1.81 to 1.26 e V. The absorption from the oligothiophene occurs between 350 and 500 nm, which is complementary to that from its bridged PDI units, leading to a wide spectral coverage from 350 to 850 nm. The optimal dihedral angle between the bridged two perylene planes is dependent on the oligothienyl size, varying from 5° to 30°. The solubility of the dimers depends on the oligothienyl size and can be tuned by the alkyl chains on the bridged thienyl units. The possible applications as the solution-processable non-fullerene organic acceptor is primarily studied using commercial P3 HT as the blend donor. The photovoltaic results indicate that 1T, 4T and 6T all yield a higher efficiency of ?1.2%, whereas 2T, 3T and 5T all give a lower efficiency of <0.5%. The difference in the cell performance is related with the tradeoff between the differences of absorption, HOMO level and film-morphology between these dimers.展开更多

Two benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b¢]dithiophene(BDT)-based small molecule(SM) donor materials with identical conjugated backbones but different substitution groups, named as DRTB-O and DRTB-T, were well explored to demonstrate th...Two benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b¢]dithiophene(BDT)-based small molecule(SM) donor materials with identical conjugated backbones but different substitution groups, named as DRTB-O and DRTB-T, were well explored to demonstrate the influence of the replacement of alkoxy with alkylthienyl on their photovoltaic properties in fullerene-based and fullerene-free organic solar cells(OSCs). The study shows that the two SM donors possess similar absorption spectra and energy levels but different crystalline structures in solid films. The carrier transport property and phase separation morphologies of the blend films have also been fully investigated.By employing PC71 BM as the acceptor, the power conversion efficiency(PCE) of DRTB-O:PC71BM and DRTB-T:PC71BM based devices were 4.91% and 7.08%, respectively. However, by blending with IDIC, the two SM donors exhibited distinctly different photovoltaic properties in fullerene-free OSCs, and the PCE of DRTB-O:IDIC and DRTB-T:IDIC based devices were 0.15% and9.06%, respectively.
