Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of (3-mercaptopropy) trimethoxysilane (3-MtrF) chemisorbed on silver surfaces were chemically "modified by 1-octadecanethiol to form self-assembled mixed-monolayers (SAMM) and...Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of (3-mercaptopropy) trimethoxysilane (3-MtrF) chemisorbed on silver surfaces were chemically "modified by 1-octadecanethiol to form self-assembled mixed-monolayers (SAMM) and the co-polymer of N-vinylcarbazole and methyl methacrylate ester (to form complex selfassembled film (CSAF)). The oxidation resistance of these barriers on silver surfaces and some influential factors concerned processes were analyzed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) in a 10% NaOH aqueous solution at oxidation potential. X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy shows that the oxidation occurring on the silver surface may be restrained effectively due to the coating barrier, and CSAF(Ⅱ) is the best one. Studies also reveal that oxide processes of bare silver and a series of modified silver electrodes in a 10% NaOH aqueous solution are of more than two relaxation time constants.展开更多
TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNTs) electrode loaded with Zn nanoparticles was prepared by anodization and the size of Zn nanoparticle loaded on TNTs electrode was controlled by chronoamperometry deposition time. Results of...TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNTs) electrode loaded with Zn nanoparticles was prepared by anodization and the size of Zn nanoparticle loaded on TNTs electrode was controlled by chronoamperometry deposition time. Results of SEM and XRD analysis show that Zn nanoparticles had a diameter of about 15-25 nm when the deposition time was 3-5 s. The UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra show the Zn loaded harvest light with 480-780 nm more effectively than the unloaded sample. The photocurrent response of Zn loaded TNTs electrodes were studied, the results showed that TNTs electrodes loaded with Zn nanoparti-cles has 50% increased photocurrent response under high-pressure mercury lamp irradiation compared with unloaded TNTs electrode.展开更多

The results showed that the thorn-like nanostructures attaching to the stems of bamboo-structured BN nanotubes were the hexagonal BN nano akes. The effects of the thickness of the ZnO films on crystal structure, surface morphology,and optical properties are investigated using X-ray diffraction, scanning probe microscopy,and photoluminescence spectra, respectively. It is shown that the ZnO films grown on Si substrates have a highly-preferential C-axis orientation,but it is difficult to obtain the better structural and optical properties of the ZnO films with the increasing of thickness. The physico-chemical properties of the zeolite were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM and TPD and then compared with the co-crystalline zeolite synthesized with a template. Analytical results indicated that they were similar in structure and composition. The influences ofpH value and Si/Al ratio on synthesis were studied. It was found that a high pH value or a low Si/AI ratio could provide better environment for mordenite (MOR) crystallization. The zeolites applied as catalysts in naphtha catalytic cracking for producing ethylene and propylene showed outstanding catalytic performance with the total yield of ethylene and propylene reaching 55 m%. The process could achieve most favorable efficiency when the catalyst contained 5 m% of MOR.展开更多

Some of the copper tailings can be recycled to recover valuable minerals. In this paper, a copper tailing was studied through the chemical analysis method, Xray diffraction and scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrum. It turned out that chalcopyrite(Cu) and pyrite(S) were the main recoverable minerals in the tailing. In order to separate chalcopyrite from pyrite in low pulp pH, ammonium humate(AH) was singled out as the effective regulator. The depression mechanism of AH on the flotation of pyrite was proved by FTIR spectrum and XPS spectrum, demonstrating that there was a chemical adsorption between AH and pyrite. By Response Surface Methodology(RSM), the interaction between AH, pulp pH and iso-butyl ethionine(Z200) was discussed. It was illustrated that the optimal dosage of AH was 1678 g·t^(-1) involving both the recovery of Cu and S. The point prediction by RSM and the closed-circuit flotation displayed that the qualified Cu concentrate and S concentrate could be obtained from the copper tailing.The study indicated that AH was a promising pyrite depressor in the low pulp pH from copper tailings.展开更多

In this way, the direct synthesis of copoly (lactic acid/glycolic acid) without any organic solvent was investigated. The properties and structures of products were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction and so on. The results show that comparatively high molecular weight copolymer of lactic acid and glycolic acid can be prepared by direct processing under appropriate technological conditions.展开更多
In order to reduce the oxidizing and volatilizing caused by Mg element in the traditional methods for synthesizing Mg2Sil-xSnx (x=0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) solid solutions, microwave irradiation techniques were used in pr...In order to reduce the oxidizing and volatilizing caused by Mg element in the traditional methods for synthesizing Mg2Sil-xSnx (x=0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) solid solutions, microwave irradiation techniques were used in preparing them as thermoelectric materials. Structure and phase composition of the obtained materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The electrical conductivity, Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity were measured as a function of temperature from 300 to 750 K. It is found that Mg2Si1-xSnx solid solutions are well formed with excessive content of 5% (molar fraction) Mg from the stoichiometric MgESil.xSnx under microwave irradiation. A maximum dimensionless figure of merit, ZT, of about 0.26 is obtained for Mg2Si1-xSnx solid solutions at about 500 K for x=0.6.展开更多
A method was developed for content determination of Na, Mg, A1, Si, P,S, C1, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Nb, Zr, Y, Sr, Rb, Ba, La and Ce etc. covering 26 major, minor, and trace elements in marine sedim...A method was developed for content determination of Na, Mg, A1, Si, P,S, C1, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Nb, Zr, Y, Sr, Rb, Ba, La and Ce etc. covering 26 major, minor, and trace elements in marine sediment samples using fused glass disc by X-ray Fluorescence spectrometry. Calibration was made using marine sediment certified reference materials and the synthetic standard samples prepared by mixing several marine sediments with stream sediment and carbonate standard samples in different proportions. The matrix effect was corrected using theoretical alpha coefficients, experience coefficients and the scattered radiation as the internal standard (for the trace elements). The accuracy of the method was evaluated by analysis of certified reference materials GBW07314, GBW07334 and GSMS6. The results are in good agreement with the certified values of the standards with RSD less than 2.60%, except for Y, Cr, Ga, Ce, La, Nb, Rb, and V with RSD less than 9.0% (n=12).展开更多

A series of square-type...A combinatorial chemistry method was employed to screen the Ba2+ and Fe3+ incorporated into cordierite structure (Ba0.05Fe0.1Mg)2A14Si5018 for exploring of high infrared radiance materials. A series of square-type sample array that consists of 7×7 compositions was syn- thesized by ink-jetting nitrate solutions into micro-reactor wells in a ceramic plate and then heat-treated at high temperatures. X-ray diffraction and infrared thermograph were used to analyze the effects of Ba2+/Fe3+ incorporating on the lattice distortion of cordierite and resultant changes in infrared radiance properties. Based on the results of X-ray phase analy- sis and radiance measurement of the scale-up prepared samples, the optimal Ba2+ and Fe3+ co-adding amount was determined to be 5%Ba2+ plus 10%Fe3+. Moreover, the infrared emissivity of the optimal composition at 100 ℃ was found to be higher than 0.8 in a wide wavelength range of 5-24μm. The research work demonstrates a promising application of Ba2+/Fe3+ cordierite solid solution as a kind of infrared heating materials for energy saving.展开更多
Na-doped Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes were synthesized using a sol-gel process.The samples were characterized by X-ray diffractometry(XRD),cyclic voltammetry(CV),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and charge-discharge...Na-doped Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes were synthesized using a sol-gel process.The samples were characterized by X-ray diffractometry(XRD),cyclic voltammetry(CV),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and charge-discharge measurements. The results show that all the samples exhibit the same cubic spinel phase structure without impurity.The lattice constant and unit cell volume decrease with increasing the sodium dopant amount.As the molar ratio of sodium to manganese(x=n(Na)/n(Mn))increases from 0 to 0.03,the initial discharge capacity of the Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes decreases from 119.2 to 107.9 mA·h/g,and the discharge capability at large current rate and the storage performance decline dramatically,while cycling performance at room temperature and 55℃are improved.The CV and EIS studies indicate that reversibility of Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes decreases and the electrochemical impedance increases with increasing the sodium dopant amount.展开更多
A comprehensive thermodynamic model, which combined the Helgeson Kirkham-Flowers (HKF) equation of state for standard-state thermodynamic properties of all species with realistic activity coefficient model developed...A comprehensive thermodynamic model, which combined the Helgeson Kirkham-Flowers (HKF) equation of state for standard-state thermodynamic properties of all species with realistic activity coefficient model developed by BROMLEY, was used to calculate the thermodynamic equilibrium, and a graphical method was developed to construct predominance existence diagrams (PED) for copper-ammonia-chloride in the presence of realistically modeled aqueous solutions. The existence of the different predominant chemical species for Cu(lI) predicted by the diagrams was corroborated by spectrophotometrical studies and X-ray diffractometry. The simulated and experimental results indicate that the predominance of a given species in solution strongly depends on the pH value in this system. More quantitative information on real copper hydrometallurgy in the presence of ammonia and chloride can be obtained from these diagrams compared with the conventional predominance existence diagrams.展开更多

文摘A two steps direct copolymerisation process was developed. The first step is to produce oligomer and then the oligomer of lactic acid/glycolic acid (90/10) is polymerized with binary catalyst tin chloride dihydrate/p-toluenesulfonic acid. In this way, the direct synthesis of copoly (lactic acid/glycolic acid) without any organic solvent was investigated. The properties and structures of products were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), X-ray diffraction and so on. The results show that comparatively high molecular weight copolymer of lactic acid and glycolic acid can be prepared by direct processing under appropriate technological conditions.

文摘In order to reduce the oxidizing and volatilizing caused by Mg element in the traditional methods for synthesizing Mg2Sil-xSnx (x=0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) solid solutions, microwave irradiation techniques were used in preparing them as thermoelectric materials. Structure and phase composition of the obtained materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The electrical conductivity, Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity were measured as a function of temperature from 300 to 750 K. It is found that Mg2Si1-xSnx solid solutions are well formed with excessive content of 5% (molar fraction) Mg from the stoichiometric MgESil.xSnx under microwave irradiation. A maximum dimensionless figure of merit, ZT, of about 0.26 is obtained for Mg2Si1-xSnx solid solutions at about 500 K for x=0.6.

文摘A method was developed for content determination of Na, Mg, A1, Si, P,S, C1, K, Ca, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Nb, Zr, Y, Sr, Rb, Ba, La and Ce etc. covering 26 major, minor, and trace elements in marine sediment samples using fused glass disc by X-ray Fluorescence spectrometry. Calibration was made using marine sediment certified reference materials and the synthetic standard samples prepared by mixing several marine sediments with stream sediment and carbonate standard samples in different proportions. The matrix effect was corrected using theoretical alpha coefficients, experience coefficients and the scattered radiation as the internal standard (for the trace elements). The accuracy of the method was evaluated by analysis of certified reference materials GBW07314, GBW07334 and GSMS6. The results are in good agreement with the certified values of the standards with RSD less than 2.60%, except for Y, Cr, Ga, Ce, La, Nb, Rb, and V with RSD less than 9.0% (n=12).
文摘A combinatorial chemistry method was employed to screen the Ba2+ and Fe3+ incorporated into cordierite structure (Ba0.05Fe0.1Mg)2A14Si5018 for exploring of high infrared radiance materials. A series of square-type sample array that consists of 7×7 compositions was syn- thesized by ink-jetting nitrate solutions into micro-reactor wells in a ceramic plate and then heat-treated at high temperatures. X-ray diffraction and infrared thermograph were used to analyze the effects of Ba2+/Fe3+ incorporating on the lattice distortion of cordierite and resultant changes in infrared radiance properties. Based on the results of X-ray phase analy- sis and radiance measurement of the scale-up prepared samples, the optimal Ba2+ and Fe3+ co-adding amount was determined to be 5%Ba2+ plus 10%Fe3+. Moreover, the infrared emissivity of the optimal composition at 100 ℃ was found to be higher than 0.8 in a wide wavelength range of 5-24μm. The research work demonstrates a promising application of Ba2+/Fe3+ cordierite solid solution as a kind of infrared heating materials for energy saving.

文摘Na-doped Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes were synthesized using a sol-gel process.The samples were characterized by X-ray diffractometry(XRD),cyclic voltammetry(CV),electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and charge-discharge measurements. The results show that all the samples exhibit the same cubic spinel phase structure without impurity.The lattice constant and unit cell volume decrease with increasing the sodium dopant amount.As the molar ratio of sodium to manganese(x=n(Na)/n(Mn))increases from 0 to 0.03,the initial discharge capacity of the Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes decreases from 119.2 to 107.9 mA·h/g,and the discharge capability at large current rate and the storage performance decline dramatically,while cycling performance at room temperature and 55℃are improved.The CV and EIS studies indicate that reversibility of Li1.05Mn2O4 cathodes decreases and the electrochemical impedance increases with increasing the sodium dopant amount.

文摘A comprehensive thermodynamic model, which combined the Helgeson Kirkham-Flowers (HKF) equation of state for standard-state thermodynamic properties of all species with realistic activity coefficient model developed by BROMLEY, was used to calculate the thermodynamic equilibrium, and a graphical method was developed to construct predominance existence diagrams (PED) for copper-ammonia-chloride in the presence of realistically modeled aqueous solutions. The existence of the different predominant chemical species for Cu(lI) predicted by the diagrams was corroborated by spectrophotometrical studies and X-ray diffractometry. The simulated and experimental results indicate that the predominance of a given species in solution strongly depends on the pH value in this system. More quantitative information on real copper hydrometallurgy in the presence of ammonia and chloride can be obtained from these diagrams compared with the conventional predominance existence diagrams.
