A well-designed fixture layout will make the final product's variability be insensitive to the fixture variation inputs. As the basis of the fixture layout design, the design criterion plays an important role in the effectiveness of a solution and the optimization efficiency. In this paper, an effective and efficient design criterion is proposed for the fixture layout with a fixed reference point (FRP) in an MAP. First of all, a state space model for the individual port's variation propagation and accumulation is developed, which is the mathematical foundation of the proposed criterion. Then, based on this model, a novel design criterion used to evaluate the performance of the fixture layout is proposed for the fixture layout with an FRP. Finally, a method extracted from the proposed design criterion is developed for quick fixture layout design. A four-station assembly process is used to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed models and methods.展开更多

In this work, a three.arm star-like fluorinated polymer was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization ( ATRP ) method and applied as a surfactant in supereriticul carbon dioxide (scCO2 ). Then 2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonie acid (AMPS) was grafted onto CS (CS-g-PAMPS) in H2O/scCO2 inverse emulsion. The effects of mass ratio of water and surfactants (Rw/s ) and pressure of scCO2 on the grafting reaction were investigated. The grafting rate, partide size, and dispersity in water of CS-g-PAMPS varied greatly as Rw/s and pressure of scCO2 changed. It could be found that the value of Rw/s at 12 and the pressure of scCO2 at 30 MPa were the optimum conditions for the grafting reaction. CS-g-PAMPS prepared in this reaction system has higher grafting rate, smaller particle sizes, and better dispersity in water than those prepared via conventional methods.展开更多

Intrinsic viscosit...Poly[ 2, 2-(m.phenylene) -5, 5-bibenzimidazole] (mPBI) were synthesized by mixing 3, 3', 4, 4'-tetraaminobiphenyl and isophthallc acid in 1 -butyl-3 -methyUmidazolinm chloride ( E BMIM] CI). Intrinsic viscosity of mPBI polymers was 0.67 dL/g which was measured in 96% sulfuric acid. The polymer was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), nuclear magnetic resonance ( 1H-NMR ), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The effects of polymerization conditions on the intrinsic viscosity of mPBI were investigated. It showed that the molecular weight of polymer mainly depended on pre-reaction time and reaction temperature. Comparison of structure and properties of mPBI synthesized in ionic liquids(ILs) and polyphosphoric acid was also reported. Ab initio calculations are used to understand the fundamental mechanism of the solid solution softening/hardening of the Mo-binary system.The results reveal that the Mo-Ti,Mo-Ta,Mo-Nb,and Mo-W interactions are primari...Ab initio calculations are used to understand the fundamental mechanism of the solid solution softening/hardening of the Mo-binary system.The results reveal that the Mo-Ti,Mo-Ta,Mo-Nb,and Mo-W interactions are primarily attractive with negative heats of formation,while the interactions of Mo-Re,and Mo-Zr would be mainly repulsive with positive heats of formation.It is also shown that the addition of Re and Zr would cause the solid solution softening of Mo by the decrease of the unstable stacking fault energy and the increase of ductility.On the contrary,the elements of W,Ta,Ti,and Nb could bring about the solid-solution hardening of Mo through the impediment of the slip of the dislocation and the decrease of ductility.Electronic structures indicate that the weaker/stronger chemical bonding due to the alloying elements should fundamentally induce the solid solution softening/hardening of Mo.The results are discussed and compared with available evidence in literatures,which could deepen the fundamental understanding of the solid solution softening/hardening of the binary metallic system.展开更多
Microstructural stability of IN939 superalloy with two different manufacturing routes was investigated during long-term aging at elevated temperatures by light optical microscope(OM) and scanning electron microscope...Microstructural stability of IN939 superalloy with two different manufacturing routes was investigated during long-term aging at elevated temperatures by light optical microscope(OM) and scanning electron microscope(SEM) equipped with an EDS system.The results show mat the coarsening behavior of γ' particles is primarily impacted by the initial heat treatment conditions,and the effect of the prior manufacturing route(casting or hot forming) is found to be insignificant,if any,on the γ' particles coarsening kinetics.In the temperature range of 790-827 ℃,IN939 cast/wrought-HT2 alloys have more microstructural stability,while in the temperature range of 827-910 ℃,the initial heat treatment marked as HT1 provides more stable microstructure for the cast or wrought IN939 superalloy.展开更多

It was ascertained that the application of membrane technology makes it possible to obtain antioxidant water with negative ORR. MoVNbTe catalyst has been found to be the most active and selective catalyst in the ammoxidation of propane to ACN, the selective oxidation of propane to acrylic acid and in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ...MoVNbTe catalyst has been found to be the most active and selective catalyst in the ammoxidation of propane to ACN, the selective oxidation of propane to acrylic acid and in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene. However, in our previous work, when 0.5 mL of MoVNbTe catalyst prepared using slurry method was tested in the propane ammoxidation to ACN, it only shows 1% conversion of propane with about 55% selectivity to CAN, thus giving only 0.6% yields to ACN. The poor catalyst activity is attributed to insufficient formation of crystalline phases essential for the propane activation process. In an attempt to improve the physicochemical properties of this catalyst, several preparation methods have been used, namely hydrothermal, reflux, changing the solvent and changing the calcinations temperature. The modified catalysts have been characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and N2 physisorption (BET). The MoVNbTe catalyst prepared by hydrothermal method shows a remarkable improvement in the formation of crystalline phases.展开更多

The rank constraints rank minimization means that interference spans the lowest dimensional subspace and the useful signal spans all available spatial dimensions. In order to improve the performance of two-way relay network, we can use rank constrained rank minimization(RCRM) to solve the IA problem. This paper proposes left reweighted nuclear norm minimization-γalgorithm and selective coupling reweighted nuclear norm minimization algorithm to implement interference alignment in two-way relay networks. The left reweighted nuclear norm minimization-γ algorithm is based on reweighted nuclear norm minimization algorithm and has a novel γ choosing rule. The selective coupling reweighted nuclear norm minimization algorithm weighting methods choose according to singular value of interference matrixes. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms considerably improve the sum rate performance and achieve the higher average achievable multiplexing gain in two-way relay interference networks.展开更多
According to the configuration,mixed-conducting membranes are classified as symmetric membranes and asymmetric membranes consisting of a thin dense layer and a porous support.In this study,these two kinds of SrCo0.4Fe...According to the configuration,mixed-conducting membranes are classified as symmetric membranes and asymmetric membranes consisting of a thin dense layer and a porous support.In this study,these two kinds of SrCo0.4Fe0.5Zr0.1O3-δ oxide-based membranes were systematically compared in terms of oxygen permeability and chemical stability,and their differences were elucidated by means of the theoretical calculation.For the oxygen permeability,the asymmetric membrane was greater than the symmetric membrane due to the significant decrease of bulk diffusion resistance in the thin dense layer of the asymmetric membrane.In regard to the chemical stability,the increase of oxygen partial pressure on the asymmetric membrane surface at CH4 side produced the stable time of over 1032h in partial oxidation of methane at 1123K,while the symmetric membrane was only of 528h.This study demonstrated that the asymmetric membrane was a promising geometrical configuration for the practical application.展开更多

Polymerization was initiated by a free radical that was formed by the ...Polyacrylamide (PAM) film was electrosynthesized on mild steel by cyclic voltammetry using Ce (IV) salt-oxalic acid as supporting electrolyte. Polymerization was initiated by a free radical that was formed by the fast reaction of oxalic acid and Ce (IV). The electrolysis of the reaction solution resulted in regeneration of Ce (IV), which could oxidize oxalic acid to produce radicals. The effect of temperature on the yield of electroinitiated polymerization was performed. The potential sweep rates were changed to achieve the polymer film with different thickness. Protective properties of the PAM film for corrosion of mild steel in 1 M NaCI aqueous solution were investigated by potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The structure of PAM film on mild steel was investigated by using physicochemical methods such as elemental analysis of C, H, N, physical chemical methods and FTIR spectrometer. The influence of scan repetition and scan rate on the formation of polymer film was studied at a current density of 1 mA/cm2. The results of these studies reveal that the corrosion resistance of the PAM-coated mild steel was significantly higher and the corrosion rate was considerably lower than that of uncoated steel. The PAM film was formed with lower sweep rate leading to more positive shift of corrosion potential and greater charge transfer resistance, reflecting higher inhibition for corrosion of the mild steel.展开更多

Results of our calculations show that the initial step of the reaction is more likely to proceed via the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism in the presence of the field, and the reaction barrier can be tuned continuously by the electric field. However, the applied electric field makes it more difficult for the product of the reaction, CO2, to desorb from the reaction site. These two competing effects make an electric field not entirely advantageous in controlling the activity of Au-embedded graphene for CO oxidation reaction. Nevertheless, the findings of our study provide a basis for further investigation on control of chemical reactions by electric fields.展开更多
Checking whether a given formula is an invariant at a given program location(especially,inside a loop) can be quite nontrivial even for simple loop programs,given that it is in general an undecidable property.This is ...Checking whether a given formula is an invariant at a given program location(especially,inside a loop) can be quite nontrivial even for simple loop programs,given that it is in general an undecidable property.This is especially the case if the given formula is not an inductive loop invariant,as most automated techniques can only check or generate inductive loop invariants.In this paper,conditions are identified on simple loops and formulas when this check can be performed automatically.A general theorem is proved which gives a necessary and sufficient condition for a formula to be an invariant under certain restrictions on a loop.As a byproduct of this analysis,a new kind of loop invariant inside the loop body,called inside-loop invariant,is proposed.Such an invariant is more general than an inductive loop invariant typically used in the Floyd-Hoare axiomatic approach to program verification.The use of such invariants for program debugging is explored;it is shown that such invariants can be more useful than traditional inductive loop invariants especially when one is interested in checking extreme/side conditions such as underflow,accessing array/collection data structures outside the range,divide by zero,etc.展开更多

Relationships between cropland changes and driving forces...It is important to study the contributions of climate change and human activities to cropland changes in the fields of both climate change and land use change. Relationships between cropland changes and driving forces were qualitatively studied in most of the previous researches. However, the quantitative assessments of the contributions of climate change and human activities to cropland changes are needed to be explored for a better understanding of the dynamics of land use changes. We systematically reviewed the methods of identifying the contributions of climate change and human activities to cropland changes at quantitative aspects, including model analysis, mathematical statistical method, framework analysis, index assessment and difference comparison. Progress of the previous researches on quantitative evaluation of the contributions was introduced. Then we discussed four defects in the assessment of the contributions of climate change and human activities. For example, the methods were lack of comprehensiveness, and the data need to be more accurate and abundant. In addition, the scale was single and the explanations were biased. Moreover, we concluded a clue about quantitative approach to assess the contributions from synthetically aspect to specific driving forces. Finally, the solutions of the future researches on data, scale and explanation were proposed.展开更多
Intercalation transition metal oxides (ITMO)have attracted great attention as lithium-ion battery negative electrodes due to high operation safety,high capacity and rapid ion intercalation.However,the intrinsic low el...Intercalation transition metal oxides (ITMO)have attracted great attention as lithium-ion battery negative electrodes due to high operation safety,high capacity and rapid ion intercalation.However,the intrinsic low electron conductivity plagues the lifetime and cell performance of the ITMO negative electrode.Here we design a new carbon-emcoating architecture through single CO_(2)activation treatment as demonstrated by the Nb_(2)O_(5)/C nanohybrid.Triple structure engineering of the carbon-emcoating Nb_(2)O_(5)/C nanohybrid is achieved in terms of porosity,composition,and crystallographic phase.The carbon-embedding Nb_(2)O_(5)/C nanohybrids show superior cycling and rate performance compared with the conventional carbon coating,with reversible capacity of 387 m A h g(-1)at 0.2 C and 92%of capacity retained after 500cycles at 1 C.Differential electrochemical mass spectrometry(DEMS) indicates that the carbon emcoated Nb_(2)O_(5)nanohybrids present less gas evolution than commercial lithium titanate oxide during cycling.The unique carbon-emcoating technique can be universally applied to other ITMO negative electrodes to achieve high electrochemical performance.展开更多

The structure of PAM film on mild steel was investigated by using physicochemical methods such as elemental analysis of C, H, N, physical chemical methods and FTIR spectrometer. The influence of scan repetition and scan rate on the formation of polymer film was studied at a current density of 1 mA/cm2. The results of these studies reveal that the corrosion resistance of the PAM-coated mild steel was significantly higher and the corrosion rate was considerably lower than that of uncoated steel. The PAM film was formed with lower sweep rate leading to more positive shift of corrosion potential and greater charge transfer resistance, reflecting higher inhibition for corrosion of the mild steel.
文摘In this paper, we report in-depth analysis and research on the optimizing computer network structure based on genetic algorithm and modified convex optimization theory. Machine learning method has been widely used in the background and one of its core problems is to solve the optimization problem. Unlike traditional batch algorithm, stochastic gradient descent algorithm in each iteration calculation, the optimization of a single sample point only losses could greatly reduce the memory overhead. The experiment illustrates the feasibility of our proposed approach.

文摘Effects of an electric field on CO oxidation of Au-embedded graphene are investigated using first-principles method. Results of our calculations show that the initial step of the reaction is more likely to proceed via the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism in the presence of the field, and the reaction barrier can be tuned continuously by the electric field. However, the applied electric field makes it more difficult for the product of the reaction, CO2, to desorb from the reaction site. These two competing effects make an electric field not entirely advantageous in controlling the activity of Au-embedded graphene for CO oxidation reaction. Nevertheless, the findings of our study provide a basis for further investigation on control of chemical reactions by electric fields.

文摘Checking whether a given formula is an invariant at a given program location(especially,inside a loop) can be quite nontrivial even for simple loop programs,given that it is in general an undecidable property.This is especially the case if the given formula is not an inductive loop invariant,as most automated techniques can only check or generate inductive loop invariants.In this paper,conditions are identified on simple loops and formulas when this check can be performed automatically.A general theorem is proved which gives a necessary and sufficient condition for a formula to be an invariant under certain restrictions on a loop.As a byproduct of this analysis,a new kind of loop invariant inside the loop body,called inside-loop invariant,is proposed.Such an invariant is more general than an inductive loop invariant typically used in the Floyd-Hoare axiomatic approach to program verification.The use of such invariants for program debugging is explored;it is shown that such invariants can be more useful than traditional inductive loop invariants especially when one is interested in checking extreme/side conditions such as underflow,accessing array/collection data structures outside the range,divide by zero,etc.

文摘It is important to study the contributions of climate change and human activities to cropland changes in the fields of both climate change and land use change. Relationships between cropland changes and driving forces were qualitatively studied in most of the previous researches. However, the quantitative assessments of the contributions of climate change and human activities to cropland changes are needed to be explored for a better understanding of the dynamics of land use changes. We systematically reviewed the methods of identifying the contributions of climate change and human activities to cropland changes at quantitative aspects, including model analysis, mathematical statistical method, framework analysis, index assessment and difference comparison. Progress of the previous researches on quantitative evaluation of the contributions was introduced. Then we discussed four defects in the assessment of the contributions of climate change and human activities. For example, the methods were lack of comprehensiveness, and the data need to be more accurate and abundant. In addition, the scale was single and the explanations were biased. Moreover, we concluded a clue about quantitative approach to assess the contributions from synthetically aspect to specific driving forces. Finally, the solutions of the future researches on data, scale and explanation were proposed.

文摘Intercalation transition metal oxides (ITMO)have attracted great attention as lithium-ion battery negative electrodes due to high operation safety,high capacity and rapid ion intercalation.However,the intrinsic low electron conductivity plagues the lifetime and cell performance of the ITMO negative electrode.Here we design a new carbon-emcoating architecture through single CO_(2)activation treatment as demonstrated by the Nb_(2)O_(5)/C nanohybrid.Triple structure engineering of the carbon-emcoating Nb_(2)O_(5)/C nanohybrid is achieved in terms of porosity,composition,and crystallographic phase.The carbon-embedding Nb_(2)O_(5)/C nanohybrids show superior cycling and rate performance compared with the conventional carbon coating,with reversible capacity of 387 m A h g(-1)at 0.2 C and 92%of capacity retained after 500cycles at 1 C.Differential electrochemical mass spectrometry(DEMS) indicates that the carbon emcoated Nb_(2)O_(5)nanohybrids present less gas evolution than commercial lithium titanate oxide during cycling.The unique carbon-emcoating technique can be universally applied to other ITMO negative electrodes to achieve high electrochemical performance.
