Systematic studies of the changes in dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) and dissolved inorganic phosphorus(DIP) and their effects on phytoplankton over the last 30 years in the Bohai Sea are presented.The amount of sew...Systematic studies of the changes in dissolved inorganic nitrogen(DIN) and dissolved inorganic phosphorus(DIP) and their effects on phytoplankton over the last 30 years in the Bohai Sea are presented.The amount of sewage disposal,use of fertilizer and the Huanghe River runoff were found to have a significant influence on the DIN or DIP concentrations in the Bohai Sea over the last 30 years.Moreover,the changes in DIN and DIP resulted in changes in the limiting nutrients of phytoplankton in the Bohai Sea from nitrogen in the early 1980s to nitrogen-phosphorus in the late 1980s,and then to phosphorus after the 1990s.In addition,changes in nitrogen and phosphorus had a significant effect on the phytoplankton community structure.The half saturation constant(Ks) was used to evaluate the effect of nutrients on the phytoplankton community structure in the Bohai Sea over the last 30 years.Cell abundance percentages of dominant phytoplankton species with high Ks values for phosphorus and low Ks values for nitrogen have decreased since the 1980s,while those of dominant phytoplankton species with low Ks values for phosphorus and high Ks values for nitrogen increased during this period.展开更多

In this study, we determined the effects of ...Eutrophication, which is the enrichment of a water mass with inorganic and organic nutrients that support plant growth, is a key factor in stimulating phytoplankton growth. In this study, we determined the effects of various nitrogen sources, different nitrogen concentrations in the culture medium, and two culture methods on the growth of the green alga, Enteromorpha prolifera. The relationship between the specific growth rate of E. prolifera and NO3-N concentration was consistent with that estimated using the Monod equation (R2=0.9713, P〈0.01). In the N O3-N medium, the maximum specific growth rate was calculated to be 0.1634/d and the semi-saturation constant was calculated to be 16.86 μmol/L. Our results show that E. prolijkra can effectively utilize NH4^+-N, NO3^-N, and NO^2-N and urea-N in the range of 5 to 50 μmol/L. NH4^+-N was preferentially assimilated by E. prolifera, and urea-N was favorable for long-term growth.展开更多

A solution by Laplace Transform was obtained for the case when the soil was under time varied loading. With numerical inversion of Laplace Transform, some useful results were obtained for several kinds of commonly encountered loadings. The results can be meaningful in engineering practice.展开更多

[Effect of disease-selective predation on prey infected by contact and external sources, Biosystems 95(3) (2009) 188-199] proposed an eco-epidemiological model where the prey species is infected through the external source of infection and contact of the species. In this present study we have modified their model by assuming that the predator consumes both the susceptible as well as the infected prey following the modified Holling type-Ⅱ functional response. Our main focusing points of this study are the role of infection rate (both internal and external), alternative food, and half-saturation constant in the predator prey dynamics with disease in the prey population. We have shown the local stability of the boundary as well as the interior equilibrium point under certain conditions. We have Mso worked out the permanence of the system. Our simulation results show that the system enters into limit cycle oscillations from stable position for higher values of the contact rate. But it is also shown that the external infection rate, enrichment of the alternative food of the predator population and the half-saturation constant can prevent limit cycle oscillations and stabilize the system. Thus external dis- ease propagation, enrichment of the alternative food resource, and the half-saturation constant are the key factors for preventing the oscillatory behavior of the species.展开更多

The repetition rate o...A temperature sensor based on a switchable dual-wavelength fiber Bragg grating (FBG) laser with a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM) is presented and demonstrated experimentally. The repetition rate of Q-switched pulses is -17 kHz. The results demonstrate that the measured temperature has good linearity to the wavelength spacing of the two lasing wavelengths and has a temperature sensitivity of 21 pm/℃ covering a range of-10--22 ℃. The ex- perimental results prove the feasibility of the proposed temperature sensor.展开更多

At 8 T, the magnetoresista...After successfully growing single-crystal TaP, we measured its longitudinal resistivity (Pxx) and Hall resistivity (Pyx) at magnetic fields up to 9 T in the temperature range of 2-300 K. At 8 T, the magnetoresistance (MR) reached 3.28 ×10^5% at 2 K, 176% at 300 K. Neither value appeared saturated. We confirmed that TaP is a hole-electron compensated semimetal with a low carrier concentration and high hole mobility ofμh=3.71 × 105 cm2/V s, and found that a magnetic-field-induced metal-insulator transition occurs at room temperature. Remarkably, because a magnetic field (H) was applied in parallel to the electric field (E), a negative MR due to a chiral anomaly was observed and reached -3000% at 9 T without any sign of saturation, either, which is in contrast to other Weyl semimetals (WSMs). The analysis of the Shubnikov-de Haas (SdH) oscillations superimposed on the MR revealed that a nontrivial Berry's phase with a strong offset of 0.3958, which is the characteristic feature of charge carriers enclosing a Weyl node. These results indicate that TaP is a promising candidate not only for revealing fundamental physics of the WSM state but also for some novel applications.展开更多

A strategy for mitigating the negative effects is needed urgent...The effect of total dissolved gas (TDG) supersaturation on fish living downstream of dams is one of the main ecological risks of high dam construction. A strategy for mitigating the negative effects is needed urgently since many high dams are under construction in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China. Experiments on the hatching process of David's schizothoracin were carried out and the results show that the hatching rate decreased with increasing TDG levels, and that most eggs hatched within a very short time in the higher TDG saturation groups. By using a stereomicroscope, damages to the head, yolk sac, body, anus, etc. were found in larvae which hatched in TDG supersaturated water. Results show that the lesion rate increased with increasing TDG levels. Furthermore, 7-d-old David's schizothoracin were exposed to TDG supersaturated water levels of 100%, 105%, 110%, 115%, 120%, 125%, 130%, 135%, and 140% for testing their tolerance to TDG supersaturation. We found that the median lethal concentrations (LC50) for 13, 14, 20, 35, 52, 73, and 96 h exposure were 138%, 138%, 134%, 130%, 129%, 128%, and 126%, respectively. The median lethal times (LTs0) were 7.49, 11.04, 19.25, and 35.38 h for exposure to water with TDG levels of 145%, 140%, 135%, and 130%, respectively.展开更多

Low gain feedback was initially proposed to achieve semi-global stabilization of linear systems subject to input saturation. It was then combined with high gain feedback in different ways for solving various control problems. The resulting feedback laws are referred to as low-and-high gain feedback. Since the introduction of low gain feedback in the context of semi-global stabilization of linear systems subject to input saturation, there has been effort to develop alternative methods for low gain design, to characterize key features of low gain feedback, and to explore new applications of the low gain and low-and-high gain feedback. This paper reviews the developments in low gain and low-and-high gain feedback designs.展开更多
文摘目的 为了筛选抗蜱及蜱传疾病基因工程疫苗的抗原候选分子,构建了镰形扇头蜱半饱血雌蜱cDNA表达文库。方法 用Frizol试剂提取镰形扇头蜱半饱血雌蜱总RNA,经反转录合成cDNA第一链,应用长链PCR(LD-PCR)扩增方法,合成双链cDNA。双链cDNA(ds cDNA)在Sfi I内切酶的作用下,形成两端分别带有Sfi I A和Sfi I B的粘性末端。经CHROMA SPIN-400柱纯化,收集500bp以上的双链cDNA片段,将其连接于带有Sfi工A和Sfl I B末端的λTriplEx2噬菌体载体,经体外包装后,以XL1-Blue为受体菌构建cDNA噬菌体表达文库。结果 经测定,库容量为4.2×106,重组率为96%。扩增后的文库滴度为2.04×1010pfu/ml。通过对文库中随机挑选的15个克隆进行序列分析,获得一个编码线粒体ATP酶第6亚基蛋白的全长cDNA序列。结论 结果显示,镰形扇头蜱半饱血雌蜱cDNA表达文库已构建成功。
