随着训练样本数目减少,传统人脸识别方法的性能会急剧下降,因此提出了改进的分数阶SVD(IFSVDR)的块协作表示算法,以提高小样本下人脸识别率。为了减少噪声对分类的干扰,对SVD算法进行改进,利用分数阶增大主要正交基权值,提高特征的判别... 随着训练样本数目减少,传统人脸识别方法的性能会急剧下降,因此提出了改进的分数阶SVD(IFSVDR)的块协作表示算法,以提高小样本下人脸识别率。为了减少噪声对分类的干扰,对SVD算法进行改进,利用分数阶增大主要正交基权值,提高特征的判别力;对相对较小权值进行抑制,降低噪声的干扰。然后,将得到的特征图像用基于块的协作表示算法进行分类(PCRC)。相对传统稀疏分类算法,PCRC融合了集成学习,能更好地解决小样本问题,且CRC计算复杂度低于SRC。在扩展的Yale B和AR人脸数据库上的实验表明,本文提出的算法在单样本的情况下也有较高的识别率。 展开更多

人脸识别在实际应用中,往往存在无法获取足够多的训练样本的情况,而在小样本情况下,协作表示的识别性能会受到严重影响。多尺度块协作表示算法能有效集成不同尺度下的分类结果,但其分类框架中子块的计算是相互独立的,忽略了块之间的结... 人脸识别在实际应用中,往往存在无法获取足够多的训练样本的情况,而在小样本情况下,协作表示的识别性能会受到严重影响。多尺度块协作表示算法能有效集成不同尺度下的分类结果,但其分类框架中子块的计算是相互独立的,忽略了块之间的结构关系。而局部结构法将图像划分为多个局部区域,每个局部区域的重叠块分布在相同的线性子空间中,该子空间可以反应块之间的结构关系,能提高多尺度块协作表示在小样本下的鲁棒性。因此提出了基于局部结构的多尺度块协同表示算法(Local Structure based Multi-Patch Collaborative Representation,LS_MPCRC),在Yale B和AR人脸库上的实验结果证明,该算法在训练样本数目较少时具有优秀的识别性能。 展开更多

the routing protocol for low-power and lossy networks(RPL) has been used in advanced metering infrastructure(AMI)which could provide two-way communication between smart meters and city utilities.To improve the network... the routing protocol for low-power and lossy networks(RPL) has been used in advanced metering infrastructure(AMI)which could provide two-way communication between smart meters and city utilities.To improve the network performance of AMI networks, this paper proposed an improved algorithm of RPL based on triangle module operator(IAR-TMO). IAR-TMO proposes membership functions of the following five typical routing metrics: end-to-end delay, number of hops, expected transmission count(ETX),node remaining energy, and child node count.Moreover, IAR-TMO uses triangle module operator to fuse membership functions of these routing metrics. Then, IAR-TMO selects preferred parents(the next hop) based on the triangle module operator. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that IAR-TMO has a great improvement when compared with two recent representative algorithms: ETXOF(ETX Objective Function) and OF-FL(Objective Function based on Fuzzy Logic), in terms of network lifetime, average end-to-end delay,etc. Consequently, the network performances of AMI networks can be improved effectively. 展开更多

Learning challenges are more common in the 21 st century than many people believe; however, there are more efficient and better methods to develop academic learning skills for students. Identifying learning problems can help both students and lecturers to apply specific learning techniques and work together to be more productive in the process of teaching and learning. This study investigates the collaboration of science foundation lecturers in addressing the students' academic performance and challenges in their foundation modules at the University of Venda. The study is also aimed at finding out whether students can be able to apply their information technology (IT) skills in other modules and they make use of group work in projects into different foundation modules to enhance performance and develop academic learning skills. In this study, students were given projects in their respective modules (Foundation Biology and Foundation IT) and it was required to them to make use of their IT skills during the research report and also during the presentation of their project. These projects were done in groups wherein students undertook some mini researches. Their findings were then reported in writing and presentations were held. The Foundation English lecturer helped in assessing the use of the academic language used in writing and during oral presentations. The findings from these projects were that students' academic performance and skills improved and their specific knowledge in those modules also improved radically. It was found that group work plays a very imperative role in enhancing the students' performance and collaboration in various foundation modules. 展开更多
