Mobile target tracking is a necessary function of some emerging application domains, such as virtual reality, smart home and intelligent healthcare. However, existing portable devices for target tracking are resource intensive and high-cost. Camera tracking is an effective location tracking way for those emerging applications which can reuse the existing ubiquitous video monitoring system. This paper proposes a dynamic community-based camera collaboration(D3C) framework for target location and tracking. The contributions of D3C mainly include that(1) nonlinear perspective projection model is selected as the camera sensing model and sequential Monte Carlo is employed to predict the target location;(2) a dynamic collaboration scheme is proposed, it is based on the local community-detection theory deriving from social network analysis. The performance of proposed approach is validated by both synthetic datasets and real-world application. The experiment results show that D3C meets the versatility, real-time and fault tolerance requirements of target tracking applications. 展开更多

Cryptanalysis of Two Dynamic Identity Based Authentication Schemes for Multi-Server Architecture

Since network services are provided cooperatively by multiple servers in the lnternet, the authentication protocols for multiserver architecture are required by Internetbased services, such as online game, online trade and so on. Recently, Li et al. analyzed Lee et al.'s protocol and proposed an improved dynamic identity based authentication protocol for multi-server architecture. They claimed that their protocol provides user's anonymity, mutual authentication and the session key agreement against several kinds of attacks. In this paper, a cryptanalysis on Lee et al.'s scheme shows that Lee et al's protocol is also vulnerable to malicious server attack, stolen smart card attack and leak-of-verifier attack. Moreover, Li e/ al.'s improved protocol is also vulnerable to all these attacks. Further cryptanalysis reveals that Li et al.'s improved protocol is susceptible to collusion attack. 展开更多

This paper analyzes conflict features in architecture pipe routing,and builds a pipe routing design conflict model by taking into account of discrete nominal internal diameter selection of pipes,material costs,and conflict solution sequence.Considering pipe routing as an assembling process,a conflict detection approach for pipe routing in collaborative architectural design is proposed based on an aforementioned model.Constraint network is used to describe the relationship among pipe routing design parameters and constraints;design conflicts are detected by matching designers' input and constraint network;and detected design conflicts are reordered according to the number of pipe parameters in conflicts.In order to support the collaborative requirement of pipe routing design,a prototype system using browser/server architecture is developed.An illustrative example of water pipe routing in a room is used to show the effectiveness and efficiency of the approach. 展开更多
